WARNING LIGHTS
A p e r m a n e n t l y l i t w a r n i n g l i g h t o r o n e l a s h i n g , w i t h t h e e n g i n e r u n n i n g , i n d i c a t e s a n o p e r a t i n g f a u l t o f t h e u n i t
concerned.
The illumination of certain warning lights may be accom panied by an audible signal and a message on the multi-
function display. Do not ignore this warning: consult a P EUGEOT dealer as soon as possible.
If the central STOP warning light comes on when you are driving, stop your vehicle immediately, where it is safe to
do so.
Central (STOP)
warning light

This indicates one of the fol-

- faulty operation of the charging c i r c u i t ,
- s l a c k b a t t e r y o r s t a r t e r t e r m i n a l s ,
- a c u t o r s l a c k a l t e r n a t o r b e l t ,
- an alternator failure.

Emission control
system warning light
(according to model)

I f i t c o m e s o n w i t h t h e e n g i n e r u n -

o f t h e i n j e c t i o n , i g n i t i o n o r e m i s s i o n
control system.
I f t h e w a r n i n g l i g h t l a s h e s , t h e r e
is a risk of damage to the catalytic
converter on petrol engines.
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer. Diesel engine pre-heat
warning light

goes out before starting the engine.
I f t h e t e m p e r a t u r e i s h i g h e n o u g h ,
t h e w a r n i n g l i g h t c o m e s o n f o r l e s s
than one second. You can start the

Low fuel level
warning light
W h e n t h i s l i g h t i r s t c o -
m e s o n , y o u h a v e e n o u g h f u e l t o d r i v e
at least 30 miles (50 km). The tank ca-
pacity is approximately 50 litres.
Speed limiter/cruise
control indicator light

system (ABS) warning
light

I f t h e w a r n i n g l i g h t r e m a i n s o n o r c o -
m e s o n a b o v e 8 m p h ( 1 2 k m / h ) , t h i s
indicates an ABS malfunction.
H o w e v e r , t h e v e h i c l e r e t a i n s c o n v e n -
tional servo-assisted braking.

LIGHTING RHEOSTAT
W i t h t h e l i g h t s o n , p r e s s t h e b u t t o n
to vary the intensity of the lighting of
the instruments and controls. When
the lighting reaches the minimum (or
m a x i m u m ) s e t t i n g , r e l e a s e t h e b u t t o n
then press it again to increase (or re-
duce) the brightness.
As soon as the lighting is of the re-
q u i r e d b r i g h t n e s s , r e l e a s e t h e b u t t o n .
HAZARD WARNING
LIGHTS
