With the Peugeot Connect Sound
switched on, once this menu has been
s e l e c t e d y o u c a n c o n fi g u r e y o u r B l u e -
tooth hands-free system (pairing), con-
sult the various telephone directories
(calls log, services...) and manage your
communications (pick up, hang up, call
waiting, secret mode...).
For further details concerning the "Tele-
phone" application, refer to the Peugeot
Connect Sound part of the "Audio and
Telematics" section.

Once this menu has been selected, you
can gain access to the following set-
tings:
- brightness-video setting,
- date and time setting,
- selection of the units.
Choice of language
Once this menu has been selected,
you can change the language used by
the display (Deutsch, English, Espanol,
Français, Italiano, Nederlands,
Portugues, Portugues-Brasil, Türkçe ** ).

The air conditioning system does
not contain chlorine and does not
present any danger to the ozone
layer.
In order for these systems to be fully effective, follow the operation and main-
tenance guidelines below:
To obtain an even air distribution, take care not to obst ruct the exterior air
intake grilles located at the base of the windscreen, the n ozzles, the vents
and the air outlets, as well as the air extractor located in the boot.
Do not cover the sunshine sensor, located on the dashboard ; this is used
for regulation of the air conditioning system.
Operate the air conditioning system for at least 5 to 10 mi nutes, once or
twice a month to keep it in good working order.
E n s u r e t h a t t h e p a s s e n g e r c o m p a r t m e n t fi l t e r i s i n g o o d c o n d i t i o n a n d
h a v e t h e fi l t e r e l e m e n t s r e p l a c e d r e g u l a r l y ( r e f e r t o t h e " C h e c k s " s e c t i o n ) .
W e r e c o m m e n d t h e u s e o f a c o m b i n e d p a s s e n g e r c o m p a r t m e n t fi l t e r .
T h a n k s t o i t s s p e c i a l a c t i v e t r e a t m e n t , i t c o n t r i b u t e s t o t h e p u r i fi c a t i o n o f
the air breathed by the occupants and the cleanness of the p assenger
compartment (reduction of allergic symptoms, bad odours and greasy de-
posits).
To ensure correct operation of the air conditioning system, you are also
advised to have it checked as recommended in the Warranty and Main te-
nance Record.
If the system does not produce cold air, deactivate it and contact a
PEUGEOT dealer.
I n t h e " c a b r i o l e t " c o n fi g u r a t i o n , t h e p e r f o r m a n c e o f t h e a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g s y s t e m
may be reduced. However, installing the windstop improves comfo rt.
When towing the maximum load on a steep gradient in high temperatures,
switching off the air conditioning increases the available e ngine power and so
improves towing performance.
I f a f t e r a p r o l o n g e d s t o p i n s u n s h i n e t h e i n t e r i o r t e m p e r a t u r e i s h i g h , fi r s t v e n -
tilate the passenger compartment for a few moments.
Set the air blower control fast enough to quickly change the air in the passenger
compartment.
The condensation created by the air conditioning results in a discharge of
water under the vehicle which is perfectly normal.

Equipped with an anti-dazzle system,
useful in poor light.
A d j u s t m e n t
Adjust the mirror so that the glass is
d i r e c t e d c o r r e c t l y i n t h e " d a y " p o s i t i o n .
As a safety precaution, the mirrors
must be adjusted to reduce the
" b l i n d s p o t " . In order to guarantee optimum vis-
ibility during your manoeuvres, the
mirror lightens automatically when
reverse gear is engaged.

Push the lever to change to the nor-
m a l " d a y " p o s i t i o n . By means of a sensor, which measures
the light from the rear of the vehicle, this
system automatically and progressively
changes between the day and night
uses.
It has an anti-dazzle system which dark-
ens the mirror glass: this reduces any
driver discomfort caused by the light
beam of following vehicles, the sun...

Coupling with the "Guide-me-home"
lighting
Association with the automatic illumination of
headlamps provides the "guide-me-home"
lighting with the following additional options:

selection of the lighting duration to 15, 30
or 60 seconds in the vehicle parameters

tion menu,
- automatic activation of "guide-me- home" lighting when automatic illumi-
nation of headlamps is in operation.
Automatic illumination of headlamps
The sidelamps and dipped beam head-
lamps are switched on automatically, with-
out any action on the part of the driver,
when a low level of external light is detect-
e d ( s e n s o r b e h i n d t h e r e a r v i e w m i r r o r ) .
A s s o o n a s t h e b r i g h t n e s s r e t u r n s t o a s u f fi c i e n t
level, the lighting is switched off automatically.
"Guide-me-home" lighting
The dipped beam headlamps remain on
temporarily, after switching off the vehi-
cle's ignition, to make the driver's exit
easier in poor light.
Activation
With the ignition off, activate a
" h e a d l a m p fl a s h " u s i n g s t a l k B .
A s e c o n d " h e a d l a m p fl a s h " s w i t c h e s
the function off again.
Switching off
The "guide-me-home" lighting is
switched off automatically following the
door locking command, after a given
time. Activation
Turn ring A to the "AUTO" position.
The automatic lighting is accompanied
by a message on the multifunction
screen.
In fog or snow, the sunshine sensor
m a y d e t e c t s u f fi c i e n t l i g h t . T h e r e f o r e ,
the lighting will not be switched on auto-
matically. The dipped beam headlamps
must be switched on manually.
Deactivation

TYRE UNDER-INFLATION
DETECTION
System which automatically checks the
pressure of the tyres while driving. All repairs and changing of tyres on
a w h e e l fi t t e d w i t h t h i s s y s t e m m u s t
be carried out by a PEUGEOT
dealer.
If, when changing a tyre, you in-
stall a wheel which is not detected
b y y o u r v e h i c l e ( e x a m p l e : fi t t i n g
of snow tyres), you must have the
system reinitialised by a PEUGEOT
dealer.
This system does not eliminate
the need to have the tyre pres-
sure checked regularly (refer to
the "Technical information - Identi-
fi c a t i o n m a r k i n g s " p a g e ) t o e n s u r e
that the optimum dynamic perfor-
mance of the vehicle is maintained
and prevent premature wear of the
tyres, particularly in arduous driv-
ing conditions (heavy load, high
speed).
The tyre pressures must be checked
cold, at least once a month. Re-
member to check the pressure of
the spare wheel.
T h e t y r e u n d e r - i n fl a t i o n d e t e c t i o n
system may experience temporary
interference due to electro-magnetic
signals on a frequency close to that
used by the system.
S e n s o r s fi t t e d i n e a c h v a l v e t r i g g e r a w a r n -
ing in the event of malfunction. The speed
has to be above 12 mph (20 km/h).
A message appears on the multifunc-
tion screen, accompanied by an audible
signal, to locate the wheel concerned.
Check the tyre pressures as soon
as possible.
This check must be carried out when
the tyres are cold.
Flat tyre This warning lamp and the
STOP
warning lamp come on on the in-
strument panel, accompanied by
an audible signal and a message
on the multifunction screen locat-
ing the wheel concerned.
Stop immediately, avoiding any sud-
den movement of the steering wheel
and the brakes.
Change the damaged wheel (punc-
t u r e d o r v e r y d e fl a t e d t y r e ) , a n d
have the tyre pressure checked as
soon as possible.
Puncture
T h e t y r e u n d e r - i n fl a t i o n d e t e c t i o n
system is an aid to driving which
does not replace the need for the
driver to be vigilant or to drive re-
sponsibly. Sensor(s) not detected or faulty
A message appears on the multifunc-
tion screen, accompanied by an audible
signal, to locate the wheel or wheels
which are not detected or to indicate a
fault in the system.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer to replace
the faulty sensor(s).
This message is also displayed
when one of the wheels is away
from the vehicle (being repaired) or
when one or more wheels without a
s e n s o r a r e fi t t e d .

VISUAL AND AUDIBLE
PARKING SENSORS
S y s t e m c o n s i s t i n g o f f o u r p r o x i m i t y
sensors, installed in the rear bumper.
It detects any obstacle (person, vehicle,
t r e e , b a r r i e r . . . ) l o c a t e d b e h i n d t h e v e h i -
cle, however, it will not be able to detect
obstacles located immediately below
the bumper. The parking sensors are
switched on
by engaging reverse gear.
This is accompanied by an audible signal.
* According to version.
A n o b j e c t , s u c h a s a s t a k e , a r o a d -
works cone or any other similar
o b j e c t m a y b e d e t e c t e d a t t h e s t a r t
of the manoeuvre but may no lon-
ger be detected when the vehicle
moves nearer to it. When the distance between the rear of
the vehicle and the obstacle is less than
a p p r o x i m a t e l y t h i r t y c e n t i m e t r e s , t h e
audible signal becomes continuous and
the "Danger" symbol appears, depend-
ing on the multifunction screen version.
The parking sensor system cannot, in
any circumstances, replace the need
for vigilance and responsibility on the
part of the driver.
The parking sensors are
switched off
by moving the gear lever to neutral.
T h e p r o x i m i t y i n f o r m a t i o n i s i n d i c a t e d
by:
- an audible signal which becomes more rapid as the vehicle approach-
es the obstacle,
- a diagram on the multifunction screen * , with blocks which move
closer to the vehicle.

Deactivation/Activation of the rear
parking sensors Operating fault
In bad weather or in winter, ensure
that the sensors are not covered
with mud, ice or snow. When re-
verse gear is engaged, an audible
s i g n a l ( l o n g b l e e p ) i n d i c a t e s t h a t
the sensors may be dirty.
When the vehicle is moving at a
s p e e d b e l o w 6 m p h ( 1 0 k m / h ) , c e r -
tain sound sources (motorcycle,
l o r r y , p n e u m a t i c d r i l l , e t c . ) m a y t r i g -
ger the audible signals of the parking
sensor system. If an operating fault occurs,
when reverse gear is engaged
this warning lamp is displayed
o n t h e i n s t r u m e n t p a n e l a n d / o r
a message appears on the screen, ac-
companied by an audible signal (short
b l e e p ) .
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer.
The status of the function is stored
when the ignition is switched off.
For further details about the access
to the parking sensors menu, refer
t o t h e v e h i c l e c o n fi g u r a t i o n s e c t i o n
corresponding to your multifunction
screen.
The function will be deactivated au-
tomatically if a trailer is being towed
o r a b i c y c l e c a r r i e r i s fi t t e d ( v e h i c l e
fi t t e d w i t h a t o w b a r o r b i c y c l e c a r -
rier recommended by PEUGEOT. The function is deactivated
or activated via the multi-
f u n c t i o n s c r e e n c o n fi g u r a -
tion menu.
