Model with rear fog lamps only

C. fog lamps selection ring.
These operate with the dipped and main beam headlamps.
 To switch on the fog lamps, turn push ring C forwards.
When the lights are switched off auto-matically (on AUTO model), the fog lamps and the dipped headlamps will remain on.
 To switch off all of the lights, turn push ring C rearwards.
 To switch on the fog lamps, turn push ring C forwards.
 To switch off the rear fog lamps, turn push ring C rearwards twice in suc-cession.
When the lights are switched off auto-matically (on AUTO model) or when the dipped headlamps are switched off manually, the fog lamps and the side lights will remain on.
 Turn the ring rearwards to switch off the fog lamps, the side lights will then switch off.

Therefore, the lights will not come
on automatically.
Do not cover the brightness sen-
sor, coupled with the rain sensor
and located in the centre of the
windscreen behind the interior mir-
ror; the associated functions would
no longer be controlled.
Coupling with the "Follow-me-
home" lighting
Association with the automatic lighting
provides the "follow-me-home" lighting
with the following additional options:
- selection of the duration of main-
taining of the lighting for 15, 30 or
60 seconds in the vehicle param-
eters on the multifunction display
confi guration menu,
- automatic activation of "follow-me- home" lighting when automatic light-
ing is in operation.
Automatic lighting
The side lights and dipped headlamps
are switched on automatically, without
any action on the part of the driver,
when a low level of external light is de-
tected (sensor behind the interior mir-
ror) or when the windscreen wipers are
switched on.
As soon as the brightness returns to a
suffi cient level or after the windscreen
wipers are switched off, the lights are
switched off automatically.
"Follow-me-home" lighting
porarily, after switching off the vehicle's ignition, to make the driver's exit easier in poor light.
Activation
 With the ignition off, activate a "headlamp fl ash" using lever B .
 A second "headlamp fl ash" switches the function off again.
Switching off
The "follow-me-home" lighting is switched off automatically following the door locking command, after a given time.
Activation

The automatic lighting is accompa-
nied by a message on the multifunc-

In the event of a malfunction of

service warning light, an audi-

Daytime lights *
On vehicles fi tted with daytime lights, the dipped headlamps come on when the vehicle is started.
This indicator light comes on on the instrument panel.
The instruments and controls (instru-ment panel, multifunction display, air conditioning control panel, ...) are not lit, unless the automatic switching on of the lights mode is activated or the lights are switched on manually.

STATIC DIRECTIONAL
LIGHTING
When the dipped or main beam head-lamps are on, this function enables the beam to light the inside of the turn with an additional angle of approximately 30°.
The use of this lighting is optimum above all at low and average speed (city driving, winding roads, ...).

Switching on
The system is switched on from a certain speed and a certain angle of rotation of the steering wheel.
Operating fault
The function is activated or deactivated via the multi-function display confi gura-tion menu.
By default, this function is activated.
In the event of a malfunction, this warning light fl ashes on the instrument panel, accompanied by a message on the multifunc-tion display.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.
Switching off
The system is switched off below a certain angle of rotation of the steering wheel.
It is switched off when reverse gear is engaged.
HEADLAMP ADJUSTMENT
To avoid causing a nuisance to other road users, the height of the headlamps should be adjusted in relation to the load in the vehicle.
0. 1 or 2 people in the front seats.

Windscreen and headlamp
wash

B. rear wiper selection ring:

Reverse gear
When reverse gear is engaged, if the
windscreen wipers are operating, the
rear wiper will start.
Programming
 Pull the windscreen wiper stalk to-wards you. The windscreen wash then the windscreen wipers operate for a fi xed period.
The headlamp wash is also activated, if the dipped headlamps are on .
Rear wiper
In the presence of snow or con-
siderable frost and when using a
tailgate bicycle carrier, deactivate
the automatic rear wiper via the
multifunction display confi guration
menu. The function is activated or
switched off via the multi-
function display confi gura-
tion menu.
By default, this function is
activated.

CHANGING A BULB
Procedure for the replacement of a
faulty bulb with a new bulb without the
use of tools.
1. Direction indicators
(PY 21 W amber).

2. Side lights (W 5 W).

3. Dipped headlamps (H7-55 W).

4. Main beam headlamps (H1-55 W).

5. Directional headlamps (H7-55 W).

6. Fog lamps (H11-55 W). Changing the direction indicators

 Handle the bulbs with a dry
cloth.
The headlamps are fi tted with poly-
carbonate glass with a protective
coating:

 do not clean them using a dry
or abrasive cloth, or using a
detergent or solvent product,

 use a sponge and soapy water.
In certain climatic conditions (low
temperature, humidity),
conden-
sation on the internal surface of
the glass of the headlamps and
rear lights is normal ; it disap-
pears a few minutes after the lights
are switched on . Model with dipped headlamps with
elliptical module and directional
headlamps
Amber coloured bulbs, such as the
direction indicators, must be re-
placed with bulbs of identical speci-
fi cation and colour.

 Turn the bulb holder one quarter of
a turn and remove it.

 Pull the bulb then change it.
To refi t, carry out these operations in re-
verse order.
Front lights

Changing the side lights

 Disconnect the main headlamp con-
nector.

 Remove the plastic protective cover
by pulling on the tab.

 Turn the bulb holder one quarter of
a turn and remove it.

 Pull the bulb and change it.
To refi t, carry out these operations in re-
verse order.
Changing the dipped headlamps,
main beam headlamps or directional
headlamps

 Disconnect the main headlamp con-
nector.

 Remove the corresponding plastic
protective cover by pulling on the
tab.

 Disconnect the connector of the cor-
responding light.

 Move aside the spring to release the
bulb and remove the bulb.
To refi t, carry out these operations in re-
verse order. Changing the integrated direction
indicator side repeaters

 Insert a screwdriver towards the
centre of the repeater between the
repeater and the base of the mirror.

 Tilt the screwdriver to extract the re-
peater and remove the repeater.

 Disconnect the repeater connector.
To refi t, carry out these operations in re-
verse order.
To obtain a replacement repeater, con-
tact a PEUGEOT dealer.
Changing the fog lamps
For replacement of these bulbs, contact
a PEUGEOT dealer.

Changing the third brake light bulbs
(4 bulbs W 5 W)

 Press on the fi xing pins on each side
of the light.

 Take out the light from the outside.

 Turn the bulb holder which corre-
sponds to the faulty bulb one quar-
ter of a turn and remove it.

 Pull the bulb and change it. Changing the number plate light
bulbs (W 5 W)

 Insert a thin screwdriver in one of
the exterior holes of the lens.

 Push it towards the outside to unclip it.

 Remove the lens.

 Pull the bulb and change it.
To refi t, carry out these operations in re-
verse order.
High pressure washing
When using this type of washing
on stubborn dirt, do not persist on
the headlamps, the lights and their
surrounds to avoid damaging their
varnish and their seal.
