The head restraint is fitted with a framewith notches which prevents it fromlowering; this is a safety device in caseof impact. The adjustment is correct when theupper edge of the head restraint is level with the top of the head.Never drive with the head restraintsremoved; they must be in place andadjusted correctly.

Ensure that no person or object prevents the seat slide from returningto its initial position; the return to thisposition is necessary for longitudinal
locking. Check that the seat belt has reeled incorrectly so as to not impede access for passengers to the rear seats.

Before taking to the road, carry out these adjustments in the following order:

driver's seat,

ght of the driver's seat head restraint,
- height and reach of the steering wheel.
Once these adjustments have been made,ensure that you can see the instrumentpanel clearly from your driving position.

Warning triangle (stowing)
Before getting out of your vehicle to
assemble the triangle and place it on the road, put on your high visibility vest.
The dimensions o
f the triangle (once folded) or
its storage box must be:
- A: length = 438mm,
- B: height = 56
mm, -C: width = 38mm.
The location for stowing a folded triangle or its box is under the front seat.

These are the internationally recognisedvalues. Use the triangle in line with local driving
regulations.

e front seat belts are fitted with a pretensioning and force limiting system.
This system improves safety in the frontseats in the event of a front or side impact.
Depending on the severity of the impact, thepretensioning system instantly tightens the seat
belts against the body of the occupants.
The pretensioning seat belts are active when
the i
gnition is on.
The force limiter reduces the pressure of the
seat belt on the chest of the occupant, so
improving their protection.
