Setting the alarm

Set the alarm by locking or
deadlocking using the remote
control (button A indicator light

door lock.
Disarming

To set the alarm with exterior
protection only

s h o u l d c h o o s e e x t e r i o r p r o t e c t i o n o n l y .
Incorrect operation
W h e n t h e i g n i t i o n i s s w i t c h e d o n , i f
button A l i g h t s f o r t e n s e c o n d s , t h e r e
is a fault in the siren connection.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer to have
the system checked.
Automatic activation *
The alarm is activated automatically
t w o m i n u t e s a f t e r t h e l a s t c l o s u r e o f a
door or the boot.
In order to avoid accidental triggering
o f t h e a l a r m w h e n a d o o r o r t h e b o o t i s
o p e n e d , i t i s e s s e n t i a l t o i r s t p r e s s t h e
unlocking button on the remote control.
Failure of the remote control
U n l o c k t h e d o o r w i t h t h e k e y a n d
o p e n i t . T h e a l a r m i s t r i g g e r e d .
S w i t c h o n t h e i g n i t i o n . T h e a l a r m
is disarmed.
THE ALARM
If button A i n d i c a t o r l i g h t l a s h e s r a p i d -
l y , t h e a l a r m h a s b e e n t r i g g e r e d w h i l e
y o u w e r e a w a y f r o m y o u r v e h i c l e .
4 5 s e c o n d s f o l l o w i n g p r e s s i n g o f t h e
l o c k i n g b u t t o n o n t h e r e m o t e c o n t r o l ,
t h e a l a r m i s s e t , r e g a r d l e s s o f t h e
status of the doors or boot.
W h e n w a s h i n g y o u r v e h i c l e , t o a v o i d
t r i g g e r i n g t h e a l a r m :
- l o c k t h e d o o r s u s i n g t h e k e y ,
or
-
s e t t h e e x t e r i o r p r o t e c t i o n a l a r m o n l y .
If the alarm has been triggered ten
t i m e s i n s u c c e s s i o n , o n t h e e l e v -
enth time it becomes inactive.

Press button D on the remote

E can be disarmed. Turn the
lock F a q u a r t e r t u r n t o t h e r i g h t u s i n g
the key.
T h e b o o t c a n o n l y b e o p e n e d u s i n g
the remote control.
Opening the boot "Boot open" warning
I f t h e t a i l g a t e i s n o t p r o p e r l y c l o s e d :
- with the engine running , y o u
a r e w a r n e d b y a d i a g r a m a n d a
message on the multifunction
d i s p l a y f o r a f e w s e c o n d s ,
- when the vehicle is moving
( s p e e d a b o v e 6 m p h ( 1 0 k m / h ) ) ,

o n . I t i s a c c o m p a n i e d b y a n
a u d i b l e s i g n a l , a d i a g r a m a n d a
message on the multifunction
d i s p l a y f o r a f e w s e c o n d s .
Closing the boot
Use the interior grab handles to
close the boot.
P r e s s t h e c e n t r e o f t h e b o o t w i t h
both hands until it locks.

- a u t o m a t i c a l l y w h e n o n e o f t h e d o o r s i s o p e n e d .
F o r t h i s t o t a k e p l a c e , the key must
be in the ignition and button E
must not have been disarmed by
means of the lock F. F o l l o w i n g a u t o m a t i c l o c k i n g , i f
the key is removed from the ig-
n i t i o n b e f o r e a d o o r i s o p e n e d o r
before the interior central lock-
i n g / u n l o c k i n g b u t t o n i s p r e s s e d ,
the boot remains locked and
c a n n o t b e o p e n e d b y p r e s s i n g
button
E .
In all cases, the boot can still
be unlocked by pressing but-
ton D on the remote control.
Vehicle unlocked
Press button D on the remote

Note
: if you have unlocked the vehicle
u s i n g t h e k e y , p r e s s i n g t h e r e m o t e
control deactivates the alarm.
