This locks the engine control system

p r e v e n t s s t a r t i n g o f t h e v e h i c l e b y
a n y o n e w h o d o e s n o t h a v e t h e k e y .
The ignition key has an electronic
c h i p w h i c h h a s a s p e c i a l c o d e . W h e n
t h e i g n i t i o n i s s w i t c h e d o n , t h e c o d e i s
r e c o g n i s e d a n d s t a r t i n g i s p o s s i b l e .
If the system does not function
correctly, t h e s e r v i c e w a r n i n g l i g h t
c o m e s o n , a c c o m p a n i e d b y a n
audible signal and a message on the
m u l t i f u n c t i o n d i s p l a y .
I n t h i s c a s e , y o u r v e h i c l e w i l l n o t
start. Contact a PEUGEOT dealer as
s o o n a s p o s s i b l e .

casing using a coin at the notch.
I f t h e r e m o t e c o n t r o l d o e s n o t w o r k
a f t e r t h e b a t t e r y h a s b e e n c h a n g e d ,
r e - p r o g r a m m e t h e r e m o t e c o n t r o l .

d r i v e r ’ s d o o r , i f t h e k e y h a s b e e n l e f t
in the ignition.

remote control must be reinitialised.

Press the remote control locking
b u t t o n i m m e d i a t e l y f o r a f e w
seconds.
S w i t c h o f f t h e i g n i t i o n a n d r e m o v e
the remote control key from the
ignition lock.
T h e r e m o t e c o n t r o l i s n o w w o r k i n g
again.
Locating your vehicle
T o l o c a t e y o u r v e h i c l e , i f y o u h a v e
l o c k e d i t , i n a c a r p a r k :
p r e s s b u t t o n B , t h e c o u r t e s y l i g h t s
come on and the direction indica-
t o r s l a s h f o r a f e w s e c o n d s .
Press button D to unlock and
p a r t i a l l y o p e n t h e b o o t .
This action also unlocks the doors.

The folding and unfolding of the
mirrors can be deactivated by a
PEUGEOT dealer.
