"Door open" alert
If a door has not been closed properly:
- when the engine is running, you are warned by a diagram and a message on the multifunction display for a few seconds,- when the vehicle is moving(speed above 6 mph (10 km/h)), the service warning light comes on. This is accompanied by an audible signal, a diagram and a message on the multifunction display for a few seconds.
The door opening controls do not function when the vehicle is deadlocked.
Opening the doors from outside
When you place your hand behind the handle, the window automatically lowers by a few millimetres. It rises again after a few seconds and adjusts automatically on closing to provide perfect sealing.
Note: when the vehicle is unlocked, if you leave your hand on the handle for more than 5 seconds, the window rises again. Remove your hand to reactivate the system.
Reinitialisation of the automatic partial opening of the door windowsCarry out this operation following reconnection of the battery and reinitialisation of the electric windows (see corresponding section):
 partially open the door,
 close the door,
 wait for a few seconds,
 place your hand behind the handle, the window automatically lowers by a few milliimetres.

Pressing button A permits:
- locking of the vehicle,- unlocking of the vehicle (and in particular the boot) if you place the key in the switch.The red indicator light on the button comes on when the vehicle is locked and is switched off when the vehicle is unlocked.
Note: if the vehicle is locked or deadlocked from the outside, the red indicator light flashes and button A is inoperative. In this case, use the key or the remote control to unlock.
Automatic central locking of the doors
The doors lock automatically when driving [speed greater than 6 mph (10 km/h)].
Above 6 mph (10 km/h), a brief press on button A momentarily unlocks the doors.
You can activate or disarm this function.
Activation
Press and hold button A.
Activation of the function is accompanied by a message on the multi-function display.
Disarming
Press and hold button A.
Disarming of the function is accompanied by a message on the multi-function display.
Notes
If one of the doors is open, the automatic central locking and locking from the inside do not function.
If the boot is open, the automatic central locking of the doors is active.
Driver’s door
Insert the key in the lock to lock or unlock the door.
Passenger’s door
- to lock, insert the key in the lock (located on the edge of the door) then turn an eighth of a turn to the left.- to unlock, use the interior door opening control (see corresponding section).
Boot
The boot is locked, contact a PEUGEOT dealer.

Vehicle unlocked
 Press button D on the remote control to partially open the boot, or press button E on the boot.
Note: if you have unlocked the vehicle using the key, pressing the remote control deactivates the alarm.
To protect the boot against theft, button E can be disarmed. Turn the lock F a quarter turn to the right using the key.
The boot can only be opened using the remote control.
Opening the boot
Vehicle locked/deadlocked
 Press button D on the remote control to unlock and partially open the boot.
This action will also unlock the doors.

Closing the boot
 Use the interior grab handles to close the boot.
Press the centre of the boot with both hands until it locks.

The boot locks automatically when driving above 6 mph (10 km/h).
It unlocks either:
- manually by pressing the interior central locking/unlocking button,- automatically when one of the doors is opened.For this to take place, the key must be in the ignition and button E must not have been disarmed by means of the lock F.

The engine must be switched offwhen filling with fuel.
 Open the fuel filler flap.
 Insert the key then turn it to the left.
 Remove the cap and hang it on the hook located on the inside of the flap.
A label affixed to the inside of the fuel filler flap indicates which type of fuel to use.
When you fill your tank, do not continue after the third cut-off of the pump. This could cause your vehicle to malfunction.
The capacity of the tank is approximately 60 litres.
 After filling the tank, lock the cap and close the fuel filler flap.Low fuel level
When the minimum fuel level in the tank is reached, this warning light comes on on the instrument panel.
You can still drive approximately 30 miles (50 km).
Operating fault
With the ignition on, if the fuel gauge needle remains in or returns to the rest positon (below zero), this indicates a malfunction of the fuel gauge.

Place ring A in the required position.

The front fog lamps operate with the side lights and dipped headlamps.
Front fog lamps and rear fog lamp (2nd forwards turn of the ring)
Note: to switch off the rear fog lamp and the front fog lamps, turn the ring twice backwards.
Front fog lamps and rear fog
lamp (ring B)
Turn ring B forwards to switch on and backwards to switch off. The status is confirmed by the light on the instrument panel.
Lights on buzzer
With the ignition off and the automatic switching on of the lights deactivated, when the driver’s door is opened, a buzzer sounds to warn you that you have left your lights on.

Side lights and dipped beam headlamps switch on automatically if the light is poor, or during operation of the windscreen wipers. They switch off as soon as the light becomes bright enough or the windscreen wipers stop.
Note: in foggy weather or in snow, the brightness sensor can detect sufficient light. As a consequence, the lights will not come on automatically.

Automatic "Follow-me-home" lighting
With the ignition off, when you leave your vehicle with the automatic switching on of the lights function activated, the side lights and dipped headlamps remain on for the selected duration.
Activation:
 switch off the engine,
 "flash" the headlamps,
 get out of the vehicle and lock it.
Deactivation:
 "flash" the headlamps again,
 get out of the vehicle and lock it.
To deactivate or activate this function, go to the mul-tifunction display configura-tion menu.
The duration of the timed period must also be set (15, 30, 60 seconds), via the multifunction display configuration menu.
Cancelling:
 "flash" the headlamps,
 get out of the vehicle and lock it.
Activation
 Turn ring A to the "AUTO"position. The automatic lighting is accompanied by a message on the multifunction display.
Deactivation
 Turn ring A to a position other than "AUTO". Switching off is accompanied by a message on the multifunction display.
If the brightness sensor does not function correctly, the lights come on accompanied by the service warning light, an audible signal and a message on the multifunction display.

For vehicles fitted with halogen bulbs, depending on the load in your vehicle, adjusting the beam of your headlamps is recommended.

Initial setting is position 0.
On vehicles with xenon bulbs:
when stationary,the system automatically corrects the height of the beam, whatever the load of the vehicle. The driver is then assured of having optimum lighting and not causing a nuisance to other road users.
In cases of malfunction, the service warning light comes on on the instrument panel, accompanied by an audible signal and a message on the multifunction display. The system places your headlamps to the low position.
Do not touch the xenon bulbs. Contact a PEUGEOT dealer.
Daytime lights*
On vehicles which are equipped with daytime lights, the dipped headlamps come on when the vehicle is started.
* According to country.
