VENTILATION
1 . Windscreen de-icing or

2 . Front window de-icing or
demisting vents.
3 . Side vents.
4 . Centre vents.
5 . Air outlet to front footwells.
6 . Air outlet to rear footwells. Advice on operation
F
If, when the vehicle has been
parked in the sun for a long
time, the interior temperature
remains very high, do not hesitate
to ventilate the passenger
compartment for a few minutes.
Place the air low control at a level suficient to ensure a good
renewal of air in the passenger
compartment.
When the air low control is in position 0 (deactivation of the
system), temperature related
comfort is no longer guaranteed
but a slight low of air, due to the
movement of the vehicle, can still
be felt.
F For perfectly even air distribution,
take care not to obstruct the
exterior air intake grilles, the vents
and the air ducts under the front
seats, as well as the air extractor
located in the boot.
Check that the passenger compartment ilter is in good
condition.

DUAL ZONE AUTOMATIC AIR
CONDITIONING
The air conditioning only operates
with the engine running.
Automatic operation
1. Driver's side setting
2. Passenger side settingFor optimum comfort, you are
advised to avoid a left / right setting
difference of more than 3.
For maximum cooling or heating of
the passenger compartment, it is
possible to go below the value 15
by turning until
"LO" is displayed or
above the value 27 by turning until
"HI" is displayed.
Press the "AUTO" button.
The "AUTO" symbol is
displayed.
We recommend the use
of this mode: it permits
automatic and optimised adjustment
of all of the functions, passenger
compartment temperature, air low,
air distribution and air recirculation,
in line with the value that you have
selected. This system is designed to operate
effectively in all seasons, with the
windows closed.
4. Automatic visibility programme
The automatic comfort
programme may prove
inadequate to quickly
demist or de-ice the
windscreen and side
windows (because of humidity,
numerous passengers, ice, etc.).
In these cases, select the automatic
visibility programme. The button 4
indicator light comes on.
The system automatically controls
the air conditioning, the air low and
the air intake and provides optimum
distribution of the ventilation to the
windscreen and side windows.
To switch it off, press button 4 again
or press the "AUTO" button, the
button's indicator light switches off
and "AUTO" is displayed.
The driver and his front
passenger can each adjust
the temperature to their
requirements.
The value indicated on the display
corresponds to a level of comfort
and not to a temperature in degrees
Celsius or Fahrenheit.
Turn control 1 or 2 to the left or to
the right respectively to decrease or
increase this value (from 15 to 27;
comfort value = 21). 3. Automatic comfort
programme In the cabriolet position, the
effectiveness of the system
may be reduced.
When the engine is cold,
to prevent too great a distribution of
cold air, the ventilation will reach its
optimum level gradually.
On entering the vehicle, if the interior
temperature is much colder or warmer
than the comfort value, there is no
need to change the value displayed in
order to obtain the comfort required.
The system corrects the difference
in temperature automatically and as
quickly as possible.

the mirrors
Press the "small fan" button of
the air low 7 until the fan symbol
disappears.
This action switches off all of the
functions of the air conditioning
system, with the exception of the
demisting of the rear screen 9.
Temperature-related comfort is no
longer guaranteed but a slight low
of air, due to the movement of the
vehicle, can still be felt.
Pressing the "large fan" button of
the air low 7, button 4 or the AUTO
button again reactivates the system
with the values set before it was
switched off.
Press this button to
recirculate the interior air.
The air recirculation symbol
8
is displayed.
Air recirculation prevents
the entry of unpleasant odours and
fumes
from the outside.
Avoid prolonged recirculation of the
interior air (risk of condensation and
deterioration of the air quality).
As soon as possible, press this button
again to permit the intake of outside
air and prevent condensation.
5. Air conditioning On / Off
Press this button to de-ice
the rear screen and the
exterior mirrors. The button
9
indicator light comes on.
The de-icing system
switches off automatically
to prevent an excessive consumption
of current.
It is possible to stop the de-icing
before it switches off automatically
by pressing the button again.
Note: this function is disarmed when
the roof is stored in the boot.
