&( The tailgate is locked or unlocked by the remote control or the driver'sdoor lock.
To open, pull handle and lift the
tailgate./ the tailgate locks automatical-
ly when the vehicle is being driven at 6 mph (10 km/h) and unlocks whenone of the doors is opened if thespeed is below 6 mph (10 km/h).

=( - When the engine is running, an audi- ble signal and a diagram displayedbriefly on the multi-function displaywarn you that the tailgate is not prop-erly closed. In addition, if the vehicle is being driven, the courtesy lights flash.  -(  This enables the tailgate to be unlocked in the event of a centrallocking fault.
– Fold back the rear seats to gain
access to the lock from inside the boot,
– Insert a small screwdriver into
hole of the lock to unlock the tailgate.

Your vehicle is fitted with a tinted glass panoramic roof which increas-es the light and visibility in the pas-senger compartment. Its electricconcealing shutter improves temper-ature conditions.

A label affixed to the inside of the fuelfiller flap indicates which type of fuelto use. When you fill your tank, do not con-
tinue after the third cut-off of the
pump. This could cause your vehicleto malfunction.

stops and moves back slightly.  If the shutter's power supply is cut
off, while it is moving or immediatelyafter it has stopped, you must reini-tialise the safety auto-reverse:
– press section 8of the switch until
the shutter is completely closed (closing in stages of a few cen-timetres).
In the event of unwanted opening ofthe shutter on closing, and immedi-ately after the shutter has stopped:
– press section of the switch until
the shutter is fully open,
– release section and immediate-
ly afterwards press section 8of
the switch until the shutter is fully closed (closing in stages of a fewcentimetres).

B( -CFront fog lamps (first rota-tion of the ring forwards)
The front fog lamps operate with theside lights and the dipped headlamps. When the main beam headlamps are switched on, the front fog lamps
are switched off. They are switchedon again when the main beam head-
lamps are switched off. Front and rear foglamps (2nd rotation ofthe ring forwards).
/ to switch off the rear fog lamp
and the front fog lamps, turn the ringbackwards twice in succession. / when the lights are switched
off automatically or when the dipped
headlamps are switched off manual-
ly, the front fog lamps, the rear foglamp and the side lights will remainon (turn the ring backwards to switch
off the front fog lamps. The side
lights will then be switched off).

3 The side lights and dipped beam headlamps switch on automatically ifthe light is poor and when the wind-
screen wipers operate continuously.
They switch off when the light becomes bright enough or the wind-
screen wipers are switched off. This function is active when the vehi-
cle is supplied to the customer.
To disarm or activate the function: – Place the key in the accessoriesposition (1st notch),
– Press the end of the lights stalk for more than four seconds.
/ In foggy weather or in snow,
the brightness sensor can detect suf-
ficient light. As a result, the lights will
not come on automatically.

Do not cover the rain sen- sor located on the wind-screen behind the interior
mirror.
When using an automatic carwash, switch off the ignition orcheck that the wiper stalk is not inthe automatic position.
