Exterior welcome lighting
The remote switching on of the lights
and lateral lights makes your approach
to the vehicle easier in poor light when
in automatic switching on of the lights
mode.
Switching on

 Press the open padlock on the remote
control.
The dipped headlamps and the side lights come on, as well as the lateral
lights, located in the exterior mirrors;
your vehicle is also unlocked.
Switching off
The exterior welcome lighting switches
off automatically after a set time, when
the ignition is switched on or on locking
the vehicle.
Programming The duration of maintaining
of the lighting is selected
via the multifunction dis-
play confi guration menu.
The duration of the welcome light-
ing is associated with and identical
to that of the automatic follow-me-
home lighting. MANUAL ADJUSTMENT OF THE HEADLAMPS
Initial setting is position "0".
To avoid dazzling other road users, the
height of the halogen bulb headlamps
must be adjusted according to the load
in the vehicle.

0. 1 or 2 people in the front seats.

Risk of electrocution
Xenon bulbs (D1S-35 W) must be
replaced by a PEUGEOT dealer.
CHANGING A BULB
Procedure for replacing a faulty bulb with
a new bulb without the use of tools.
Front lights
Model with halogen lights

1. Direction indicators
(PY 21 W amber).

2. Dipped headlamps (H7 - 55 W).

3. Main beam headlamps (H1 - 55 W).

4. Daytime/side lights (P21/5 W).

5. Fog lamps (H8 - 35 W).
1. Direction indicators

(D1S-35 W).

3. Additional main beam

Model with xenon lights and
directional headlamps
In certain climatic conditions (low
temperature, humidity), the pre-
sence of condensation on the
inside of the headlamp and light
glass is normal ; it disappears
a few minutes after the lights are
switched on.

 Handle the bulbs using a dry
cloth.
The headlamps are fi tted with poly-
carbonate lenses, coated with a
protective varnish:

 do not clean them with a dry
or abrasive cloth or using a
detergent or solvent product,

 use a sponge and soapy water,

 when using a high pressure
washer on stubborn dirt, do not
spend too long on the head-
lamps, lights and their surrounds
to avoid damaging their varnish
and their seals.

Changing main beam headlamp bulbs

 Remove the protective plastic cover
by pulling on the tab.

 Disconnect the bulb connector.

 Compress the springs to release the
bulb.

 Remove the bulb and change it
To refi t, carry out these operations in re-
verse order.
Changing daytime/side light bulbs

 Remove the protective plastic cover
by pulling on the tab.

 Disconnect the bulb connector.

 Turn the bulb holder a quarter of a
turn and extract it.

 Pull the bulb and change it.
To refi t, carry out these operations in
reverse order.
Changing direction indicator bulbs
Amber or silver coloured bulbs,
such as the direction indicators,
must be replaced with bulbs of
identical specifi cations and colour.

 Turn the bulb holder a quarter of a
turn and extract it.

 Pull the bulb and change it.
To refi t, carry out these operations in
reverse order.
When refi tting, close the plastic
cover carefully to guarantee the
sealing of the headlamp. Changing dipped headlamp bulbs

 Remove the protective plastic cover
by pulling on the tab.

 Disconnect the bulb connector.

 Compress the springs to release the
bulb.

 Extract the bulb and change it.
To refi t, carry out these operations in re-
verse order.

Changing integrated direction
indicator side repeaters

 Insert a screwdriver towards the
centre of the repeater between the
repeater and the base of the mirror.

 Tilt the screwdriver to extract the re-
peater and remove it.

 Disconnect the repeater connector.
To refi t, carry out these operations in
reverse order.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer to obtain
replacement repeaters. Changing fog lamp bulbs
To replace these bulbs consult a
PEUGEOT dealer.

Changing the lateral lights
For the replacement of this type of diodes
bulb, contact a PEUGEOT dealer.

1. Brake lights (diodes).

5. Reversing light (P21 W). Changing the fog lamp and
reversing light
These two bulbs are changed from out-
side the rear bumper:
On the left-hand side, take care not
to touch the silencer; risk of burns, if
you change the bulb after switching
off the ignition.

 turn the bulb holder one quarter of a
turn and remove it,

 turn the bulb one quarter of a turn
and change it.
To refi t, carry out these operations in
reverse order.
Changing brake lights, side lights
and direction indicators
For the replacement of this type of diodes
light, contact a PEUGEOT dealer.

Changing the third brake light
(diodes)
For the replacement of this type of diodes
light, contact a PEUGEOT dealer. Changing the number plate light
bulbs (W 5 W)

 Insert a thin screwdriver in one of
the exterior holes of the lens.

 Push it towards the outside to unclip
it.

 Remove the lens.

 Pull the bulb and change it.
High pressure washing
When using this type of washing
on stubborn dirt, do not persist on
the headlamps, the lights and their
surrounds to avoid damaging their
varnish and their seal.
