Manual operation
If you wish, you can make a different
choice from that offered by the system
by changing a setting. The other func-
tions will still be controlled automatically.

 Pressing the "AUTO"
button returns
the system to completely automatic
operation.

 Press this button to switch
off the air conditioning. 6. Air distribution adjustment

 Press one or more buttons
to direct the air fl ow to-
wards:

 Turn this control to the left
to decrease the air fl ow or
to the right to increase the
air fl ow.
8. Air intake/Air recirculation Switching the system off

 Turn the air fl ow control to the left
until all of the indicator lamps go
off.
This action switches off all of the func-
tions of the system.
Temperature related comfort is no longer
guaranteed but a slight fl ow of air, due
to the movement of the vehicle, can still
be felt.

 Turn the air fl ow dial to the right or
press the "AUTO" button to reacti-
vate the system with the values set
before it was switched off.

 Press this button for recir-
culation of the interior air.
The indicator lamp in the
button comes on.
5. Air conditioning On/Off
Avoid prolonged operation in inte-
rior air recirculation mode or driving
for long periods with the system off
(risk of condensation and of dete-
rioration of the air quality).
- the windscreen and side windows
(demisting or defrosting),
- the windscreen, the side windows and the vents,

The air fl ow indicator lamps, between
the two fans, come on progressively ac-
cording to the value requested.
 As soon as possible, press this but-
ton again to permit the intake of out-
side air and prevent the formation of
condensation. The indicator lamp in
the button goes off.
For maximum cooling or heating
of the passenger compartment, it
is possible to exceed the minimum
value 14 or the maximum value 28.

 Turn control 2 or 3 to the left
until "LO" is displayed or to the
right until "HI" is displayed. 9. Mono-zone/Dual-zone


Press this button to equalise
the comfort value on the pas-
senger side with that on the
driver’s side (mono-zone).
The indicator lamp in the but-
ton comes on.
Air recirculation enables the passenger
compartment to be isolated from exte-
rior odours and smoke.
Switching the system off could result in
discomfort (humidity, condensation).

 Press this button again to return to
automatic operation of the air con-
ditioning. The indicator lamp in the

"A/C" button comes on.

Windstop folded
FITTING/REMOVING THE WINDSTOP
In the "cabriolet" confi guration, the
windstop improves comfort in the pas-
senger compartment.
The vertical part of the windstop can be
folded down to improve rear visibility
during manoeuvres.
It is supplied folded in four. Windstop unfolded Fitting

 Clip the ends of the assembly until a
click is heard.

 Unfold the windstop by opening
the two parts to 90° until a click is
heard.

 Unfold the windstop frame guides.

 Engage the guides in the points
located behind each corner of the
back of the rear bench seat.

 Unfold each of the two parts fully.

 Engage the shafts of the windstop
frame in the openings in the rear
side trim so that the red indicators
are concealed.
When installing the windstop for the fi rst
time:

 position a size 10 open-ended span-
ner on the hexagonal part of the shaft,

 tighten or slacken without forcing on
each side to adjust the depth setting.

 Lastly, always check that the wind-
stop is retained securely before use
in the "cabriolet" confi guration.
Removal

 Press and pull on the shaft supports
to release the shafts from the open-
ings in the rear side trim; the red in-
dicators then become visible. It is not necessary to remove the
windstop when operating the roof.

 Pull the windstop forwards to re-
lease the guides from the points,
located behind each corner of the
back of the rear bench seat.

 Fold the windstop frame guides. Storing
In the storage box (version
equipped with a temporary tyre
repair kit)

 Raise the boot carpet and hook its
handle on the boot seal.

 Store the folded windstop in the cor-
responding recess in the box.

 Lower the boot carpet.
In the boot (version equipped with
a spare wheel)

 Stow the folded windstop securing it
using the luggage retaining net.

 Fold the windstop closing the
two large parts on themselves.

 Unclip each end individually.

 Fold each of the two parts on them-
selves.

FRONT SEATS
Seat with integral head restraint, consisting
of a seat cushion and a seat back which
can be adjusted to adapt your position for
ease of driving and comfort.
Forwards-backwards adjustment

 Raise the control and slide the seat
forwards or backwards. Driver's or passenger's seat height
adjustment

 Pull the control upwards to raise
or push it downwards to lower, as
many times as necessary, to obtain
the position required. Seat back angle adjustment

 Push the control rearwards.

FRONT SEATS
Seat with integral head restraint, consist-
ing of a seat cushion and a seat back

Forwards-backwards adjustment

 Push the control forwards or rear-
wards to slide the seat. Seat cushion height and angle
adjustment

 Tilt the rear part of the control up-
wards or downwards to obtain the
required height.

 Tilt the front part of the control up-
wards or downwards to obtain the
required angle. Seat back angle adjustment

 Tilt the control forwards or rearwards
to adjust the angle of the seat back.
Electric adjustments The electrical functions of the seat
are deactivated approximately
one minute after the ignition is
switched off.
To reactivate them, switch on the
ignition.

Access to the rear seats

 Pull the control A upwards to fold
the seat back, the seat moves for-
ward automatically.
When putting the seat back in place, press the control B until the seat re-
turns to its initial position.
Access to the rear seats

 Pull the control upwards to fold the
seat back, then move the seat for-
ward.
When putting the seat back in place, move it back holding it by the centre
of the seat back, the seat returns to
its initial position.
Check that no person or object
is preventing the seat slide from
returning to its initial position; the
return to this position is necessary
for longitudinal locking. This function is deactivated while
driving.

Controlling the "AIRWAVE" system
When the engine is running, the
"AIRWAVE" system, located in the head
restraint of each front seat, can be con-
trolled separately to produce heated
blown air directed towards the neck of
each occupant. Heated seats control
With the engine running, the front seats
can be heated separately.

 Use the adjustment dial, placed on
the side of each front seat, to switch
on and select the level of heating re-
quired:
0: Off.
1
: Low.
2
: Medium.
3
: High.

 Use the corresponding adjustment
dial, placed on the centre console,
to set the temperature and fl ow of
blown air required:

0: Off.

1: Low.

2: Medium.
3: High.
 Use the direction dial, placed on
each vent, to direct the output of the
blown air upwards, to the centre or
downwards.
When the control is activated, the
blown air arrives progressively to
reach a comfortable temperature. Do not use the "AIRWAVE" system
if a child seat is installed on the
front passenger seat.

STORING DRIVING POSITIONS
System which takes into account the
electrical settings of the driver's seat
and the door mirrors. It enables you to
store two positions using the buttons on
the side of the driver's seat. Recalling a stored position
Storing a position When the ignition is off, after a few
consecutive position recalls, the
function will be deactivated until
the engine is started, to prevent
discharging of the battery.
Using buttons M/1/2

 Switch on the ignition.


Adjust your seat and your door mirrors.

 Press button M , then press button 1
or 2 within four seconds.
An audible signal is heard indicating that the settings have been stored.
Storing a new position cancels the pre-
vious position.
REAR SEATS
Fixed two-seat bench fi tted with roll-
over bars to guarantee your protection
should the vehicle roll over.
Do not place any covering on the rear
head restraints. Use a special cover
recommended by the PEUGEOT
network.
The rear head restraints are fi xed. They
incorporate the roll-over hoops (refer to
the section "Safety - § Roll-over hoops").
The rear bench seat may be fi tted with a
folding comfort armrest in the centre of
the seat back.
Using button 1 or 2

 Press and hold button 1 or 2 until
the audible signal is heard indicat-
ing the end of the adjustment.
