DIRECTIONAL LIGHTING
When the dipped or main beam head-lamps are on, this function enables the light beam to follow the direction of the road.
The use of this function, coupled with the xenon headlamps only, considera-bly improves the quality of your lighting when cornering.

Operating fault
The function is activated or deactivated via the multi-function display configura-tion menu.
If a malfunction occurs, this warning light flashes on the in-strument panel, accompanied by a message on the multifunc-tion display.

AUTOMATIC ADJUSTMENT
OF THE DIRECTIONAL
HEADLAMPS
In order to avoid causing a nuisance to other road users, this system corrects the height of the xenon headlamps beam automatically and when stationary, in re-lation to the load in the vehicle.
If a malfunction occurs, this warning light and/or the service warning light is displayed on the instrument panel, accompanied by an audible signal and a message on the multifunction display.
The system then places your head-lamps inb the lowest position.

WIPER CONTROLS
System for selection and control of the various front and rear wiping modes for the elimination of rain and cleaning.
The vehicle’s various front and rear wip-ers are designed to improve the driver’s visibility progressively in relation to the climatic conditions.
Manual controls
The wiper commands are issued direct-ly by the driver by means of the lever A and the ring B.Model with intermittent wiping
Model with AUTO wiping
fast (heavy rain),
normal (moderate rain),
intermittent (proportional to the speed of the vehicle),
automatic, then single wipe (see following page).

Programming
Various automatic wiper control modes are also available according to the fol-lowing options:
- automatic wiping for the windscreen wipers,- rear wiping on engaging reverse gear.

Reverse gear
When reverse gear is engaged, the rear wiper will come into operation if the windscreen wipers are operating.
Programming
 Pull the windscreen wiper stalk to-wards you. The windscreen wash then the windscreen wipers operate for a fixed period.
If the dipped headlamps are on, the headlamp washers operate at the same time.
Rear wiper
The function is activated or deactivated via the multi-function display configura-tion menu.
This function is activated by default.
Screenwash/headlamp wash low
In the case of vehicles fitted with headlamp washers, when the minimum level of the reservoir is reached, this warning light and/or the service warning light is displayed on the instrument panel, accompanied by an audible signal and a message on the mul-tifunction display.
Next time you stop, fill the screenwash/headlamp wash reservoir.
The warning light is displayed when the ig-nition is switched on, or every time the stalk is operated, until the reservoir is filled.

Special position of the windscreen wipersAutomatic windscreen wiping
The windscreen wipers operate auto-matically, without any action on the part of the driver, if rain is detected (sensor behind the interior mirror), adapting their speed to the intensity of the rainfall.
Activation
This is controlled manually by the dri-ver by pushing lever A to the "AUTO"position.
It is accompanied by a message on the multifunction display.
In the minute following switching off of the ignition, any action on the stalk po-sitions the wipers in the centre of the windscreen.
This action enables you to position the wiper blades for winter parking, clean-ing or replacement.
To park the wipers after this has been done, switch on the ignition and operate the stalk.
Switching off
This is controlled manually by the driver by moving lever A upwards and return-ing it to position "0".
It is accompanied by a message on the multifunction display.
Operating fault
If an automatic wiping malfunction oc-curs, the wipers will operate in intermit-tent mode.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer to have the system checked.

Front and rear courtesy lights
In this position, the courtesy li-ght comes on gradually:
Map reading lights
 With the ignition on, press the cor-responding switch.
- when the vehicle is unlocked,- when the key is removed from the ig-nition,- when a door is opened,- when the remote control locking button is activated, in order to locate your vehicle.
It switches off gradually:
- when the vehicle is locked,- when the ignition is switched on,- 30 seconds after the last door is closed.
Permanently off.
Permanent lighting.
Rear side reading lights
 With the ignition on, the first press of the corresponding switch switches on the reading light concerned in permanent lighting mode. Following a second press, it comes on:- when the vehicle is unlocked,- when the key is removed from the ignition,- when a door is opened,- when the remote control locking button is pressed, in order to locate your vehicle.It switches off gradually:- when the vehicle is locked,- when the ignition is switched on,- 30 seconds after the last door is closed.

AMBIENT LIGHTING
This comes on automatically when the boot is opened and switches off auto-matically when the boot is closed.
INTERIOR WELCOME LIGHTING BOOT LIGHTING
The remote switching on of the passenger compartment lighting makes your approach to the vehicle easier in poor light when in automatic switching on of the lights mode.
Switching on
 Press the open padlock on the re-mote control.
The front and rear door sill lighting, the footwell lighting and the courtesy lights come on; your vehicle is also unlocked.
Switching off
The interior welcome lighting switches off automatically after a set time or when one of the doors is opened.
Programming
The dimmed passenger compartment lighting improves visibility in the vehicle when the light is poor.
Switching on
At night, the footwell lighting and the front courtesy light ambient lamp Acome on automatically when the side lights are switched on.
Switching off
The ambient lighting switches off auto-matically when the dipped headlamps are switched off.
Programming
The function is activated or deactivated via the multi-function display configura-tion menu.
This function is activated by default.
The duration of maintaining of the lighting is selected via the multifunction dis-play configuration menu.

GLOVE BOX WITH LIGHT
This has areas for storing a bottle of wa-ter, the vehicle’s handbook, ...
Its lid has areas for storing a pen, a pair of spectacles, tokens, cards, a can, fra-grance cartridges, ...
To open the glove box, raise the handle.
The light comes on when the lid is opened.
If the vehicle is fitted with air condition-ing, it provides access to the air vent A, which can be opened or closed, distri-buting the same conditioned air as the vents in the passenger compartment.
SUN VISOR
Component which protects against sunlight from the front or the side, also equipped with an illuminated courtesy mirror.
 With the ignition on, raise the con-cealing flap; the mirror is lit automati-cally.
This sun visor is also equipped with a ticket holder.
TOLL CARD/CAR PARK TICKET
WINDOWS
Facility for affixing toll cards and/or car park tickets.
These windows are located on each side of the base of the interior mirror.
They are two non-reflective areas of the athermic windscreen.

LIGHTER/12 V ACCESSORIES
SOCKET
 To use the lighter, press it in and wait a few seconds until it pops out auto-matically.
 To connect a 12 V accessory (max power: 100 Watts), remove the light-er and connect a suitable adaptor.
ASHTRAY WITH LIGHT
 Pull the drawer to gain access to the ashtray.
 To empty the ashtray, after opening, press the tab and remove the ash-tray.
BAG HOOK
 Press the lower part of the hook to unfold it.
 Hang the strap of your bag on the hook to secure it.
