Panel grouping together the dials and
warning/indicator lights. These inform
the driver of the activation of a system
(operation or deactivation indicator
lights) or of the occurrence of a fault
(warning lights).

3. Main beam headlamps indicator

When the vehicle is
s t a t i o n a r y , it allows
the user to change the
following parameters:
- the choice of the reini- tialisation of the aver-
age consumption and
average speed,
- the fuel consumption unit,
- the temperature display unit,
- the display language,
- activation/deactivation of the INFO
button sound,
- the break (rest) reminder display in- terval,
- restore the manufacturer’s param- eters.
FUNCTION PARAMETERS
System which provides access to
certain function parameters.
The various menus may differ for the
type 1 instrument panel and the type 2
instrument panel.
With the ignition on , press the INFO
button on the fascia, to the right of
the instrument panel, several times in
succession until the "SETTING MENU"
screen is displayed.
In order to change the settings,
it is essential that you stop
the vehicle and switch on the
ignition.
Apply the handbrake and place
the gear lever in neutral.
When the vehicle is moving ,
the functions setting display is
not displayed when you press
the INFO button.
O p e r a t i o n
press and hold the INFO button for
a few seconds to display the menus
screen.
Press and hold the INFO button
for a few seconds to return to
the previous screen.
When the menus screen is
displayed, if no operation is
carried out within 15 seconds,
the function parameters screen
is displayed.
on the menus screen, press the
INFO button to select a function
from the list:
MENU 2 / 3 :
- a/b (choice of displaying a different
language on the instrument panel
display and the navigation display),
- a c t i v a t i o n / d e a c t i v a t i o n o f t h e
INFO button sound ,
- ALERT (changing of the "BREAK
REMINDER" display interval),
- choice of the direction indicators sound,
- a c t i v a t i o n / d e a c t i v a t i o n o f t h e c u r -
r e n t f u e l c o n s u m p t i o n ,
MENU 1/3 :
- 1 - 2 (choice of the reinitialisation of
the average consumption and aver-
age speed),
- UNIT (choice of the fuel consumption
units),
- choice of the t e m p e r a t u r e d i s p l a y
unit ,
- LANGUAGE (choice of the display
language),
M E N U 3 / 3 :
- REINITIALISE (restore the manu-
facturer’s parameters).

indicators sound
You can choose the sound of the direc-
tion indicators, on the type 2 instrument
panel only.
On the menus screen:
press the INFO button to select sound
1 or 2 (located on menu 2/3) .

You can activate or deactivate the cur-
rent fuel consumption, on the type 2
instrument panel only.
On the menus screen:
press the INFO button to select the
current fuel consumption activation/
deactivation symbol (located on

p a r a m e t e r s ( R E I N I T I A L I S E )
You can restore all of the manufacturer’s
settings for all of the functions.

manufacturer’s settings are restored for
all of the functions.

FUEL TANK Opening the cap may trigger an air in-
take noise. This vacuum, which is com-
pletely normal, is caused by the sealing
of the fuel circuit.

tom right of the driver’s seat to re-

turn the cap C to the left,

screw in the cap to the right,

E n s u r e t h a t t h e f u e l fi l l e r fl a p i s c l o s e d
correctly.
remove the cap C ,
fi l l t h e t a n k , b u t do not continue af-
ter the 3rd cut-off of the nozzle ;
this could cause malfunctions.
Low fuel level
Filling
A l a b e l , a f fi x e d o n t h e i n s i d e o f t h e fl a p ,
reminds you of the type of fuel to be
used in relation to your engine.
More than 5 litres of fuel must be add-
ed in order to be registered by the fuel
gauge. When the tank minimum lev-
el is reached, this indication
appears on the instrument
p a n e l d i s p l a y . W h e n i t fi r s t
comes on, approximately
10 litres of fuel remain.
The symbol fl a s h e s s l o w l y (approxi-
mately once per second).
When the symbol begins to
fl a s h r a p i d l y (approximately
twice per second), there is not
much fuel remaining in your tank
(approximately 5 litres).
I t i s e s s e n t i a l t o fi l l t h e t a n k t o
avoid running out of fuel.
This symbol indicates that the
fuel tank cap is located on the
left-hand side of the vehicle.

Quality of the fuel used for
petrol engines
The petrol engines are perfectly com-
patible with E10 type petrol biofuels
(containing 10 % ethanol), conforming
to European standards EN 228 and
EN 15376.
E85 type fuels (containing up to 85 %
ethanol) are reserved exclusively for ve-
hicles marketed for the use of this type
of fuel (BioFlex vehicles). The quality of
the ethanol must comply with European
standard EN 15376.
For Brazil only, special vehicles are
marketed to run on fuels containing up
to 100 % ethanol (type E100). Quality of the fuel used for
Diesel engines
The Diesel engines are perfectly com-
patible with biofuels which conform to
current and future European standards
(diesel fuel which complies with stand-
ard EN 590 mixed with a biofuel which
complies with standard EN 14214)
available at the pumps (containing up
to 7 % Fatty Acid Methyl Ester).
The B30 biofuel can be used in cer-
tain Diesel engines; however, this use
is subject to strict application of the
special servicing conditions. Consult a
PEUGEOT dealer.
The use of any other type of (bio)fuel
(vegetable or animal oils, pure or diluted,
domestic fuel...) is strictly prohibited (risk
of damage to the engine and fuel circuit).
