Range
This shows the distance that can still
be covered with the fuel remaining in
the tank.
This igure may increase if there is a
change in the style of driving or the
road surface, producing a signiicant
drop in current consumption.
When the range is less than 20 miles
(30 km), four segments are dis-
played. After illing with fuel, the
range is displayed when it exceeds
62 miles (100 km).
If horizontal segments are displayed
for long periods instead of digits,
contact a PEUGEOT dealer.
Current consumption
This is the average quantity of fuel con-
sumed during the last few seconds.
This function is displayed only when
the vehicle is travelling at a speed
greater than 20 mph (30 km/h).
Average consumption
This is the average fuel consump-
tion since the computer was last set
to zero.
Distance travelled
This indicates the distance travelled
since the computer was last set to
zero.
Distance remaining
to be travelled
This is the distance remaining to the
destination. It can either be calcu-
lated by the navigation if guidance
is activated, or entered by the user,
minus the distance covered since the
distance was entered.
If digits are missing, dashes are dis-
played in their place.
Average speed
This is the average speed calculated
since the computer was last set to
zero (with the ignition on).
The routes
The routes "1" and ''2'' are independ-
ent but have identical application.
Route "1" for example allows you
to make daily calculations and route
"2" monthly calculations.

between the passengers.

low (see section "Interior layout").
Advice on operation
To obtain correct ventilation, avoid
closing the air diffuser 3.
In hot weather, to obtain increased
ventilation, you can close the air
diffuser 3 and use only the vents 6
and 7.
For even air distribution, take care
not to obstruct the exterior air intake
grille located at the bottom of the
windscreen, the vents, the air out-
lets under the front seats and the air
extractor located behind the laps in
the boot.
Do not block sensors 1 and 2.
When towing a considerable load
and when the exterior temperature is
very high, the air conditioning may be
cut off temporarily if the engine cool-
ing makes this necessary.
Pull the blinds on the rear door win-
dows and the rear screen.
AUTOMATIC REGULATION OF
THE AIR CONDITIONING
The automatic regulation of the air
conditioning in the passenger com-
partment is controlled by various
sensors (exterior temperature, inte-
rior temperature, sunshine), prevent-
ing the need for you to change your
reference settings other than the
temperature displayed. In addition,
a humidity sensor anticipates the for-
mation of condensation in the vehicle
during its use.
Air diffuser
The air diffuser at the top of the cen-
tre console, signiicantly increases
the distribution and low of air and
prevents air currents while maintai-
ning an optimum temperature inside
the passenger compartment.

Operate the air conditioning system
for 5 to 10 minutes once a month to
keep it in perfect working order.
If the system does not produce cold
air, do not use it and contact your
PEUGEOT dealer.
Note: the condensation created by
the air conditioning system results
in a low of water under the vehicle
when stationary which is perfectly
normal. Control by the Auto program
Example with the time and date
Example with the audio equipment 1 - Comfort

Press the "AUTO" button. The indi-
cator light comes on. The "AUTO"

and not to a temperature in degrees
Celsius or Fahrenheit, depending on
the choice of coniguration validated
on the display.
F Press the right or left arrow to
change it.
A setting around the value 21 makes
it possible to obtain optimum com-
fort. However, depending on your
requirements, a setting between 18
and 24 is normal.
The control of the air conditioning
regulation by the auto-adaptive pro-
gram guarantees good ventilation
inside the passenger compartment.

To prevent condensation and dete-
rioration of the quality of the air in
the passenger compartment, ensure
that an adequate low of air is main-
tained.
Deactivation of the air
conditioning
F Turn the dial 3 to
the left until the
low of air stops.
The "OFF" symbol is displayed on
the multifunction display.

the comfort program may not be
suficient to demist or de-ice the win-
dows (humidity, several passengers,
ice).
F In this case, select the front vis-
ibility control in order to clear the
windows quickly. The indicator
light comes on.
It controls the air low and intake and
distributes the ventilation to the wind-
screen and front side windows.
The front visibility control symbol is
displayed on the multifunction dis-
