Advice on operation
To obtain even ventilation, avoid
closing the air diffuser grille
10.
If, when the vehicle has been parked
in the sun for a long time, the interior
temperature remains very high, do
not hesitate to ventilate the passen-
ger compartment for a few minutes.
For even air distribution, take care
not to obstruct the exterior air intake
grille located at the bottom of the
windscreen, the vents, the air out-
lets under the front seats and the air
extractor located behind the laps in
the boot.
Do not block sensors 2 and 9.
When towing a trailer with a consid-
erable load and when the exterior
temperature is very high, the air con-
ditioning may be cut off temporar-
ily if the engine cooling makes this
necessary.
Pull the blinds on the rear door
windows and the rear screen.
Close the windows to beneit from
the full effectiveness of the air
conditioning. 1.
Centre panel vents.
2. Temperature and humidity
sensor.
3. Adjustment of the glove box
air low (see section "Interior
layout").
4. Air outlet to passenger
footwells.
5. Two ventilation vents at
the rear at the base of the
centre console between the
passengers.
6. Side vents.
7. Front windows de-icing or
demisting vents.
8. Windscreen de-icing or
demisting vents.
9. Sunshine sensor.
10. Air diffuser grille.
AUTOMATIC REGULATION
OF THE AIR CONDITIONING
Use of the automatic regulation of
the air conditioning is recommended.
It permits automatic and optimised
control of all of the following func-
tions: air low, passenger compart-
ment temperature, air distribution,
economy or air recirculation mode,
by means of various sensors (exteri-
or temperature, interior temperature,
sunshine), so preventing the need
for you to change your reference set-
tings other than the value displayed.
In addition, a humidity sensor antici-
pates the formation of condensation
in the vehicle during its use.
Air diffuser
The air diffuser grille, located at the
top of the centre console, signiicantly
improves distribution and lows
and prevents air currents, while
maintaining an optimum temperature
inside the passenger compartment.
When the engine is cold, to
prevent too great a distribu-
tion of cold air, the ventilation
will only reach its optimum
level progressively.
On entering the vehicle, the interior
temperature may be much colder (or
warmer) than is comfortable. There
is no need to change the tempera-
ture displayed in order to obtain the
comfort required rapidly.
The automatic regulation of the air
conditioning will use its maximum
performance settings to correct the
temperature difference as quickly as
possible.

Operate the air conditioning system
for 5 to 10 minutes once a month to
keep it in perfect working order.
If the system does not produce cold

the air conditioning system results
in a low of water under the vehicle
when stationary which is perfectly
normal. Control by the Auto programme
