Deadlocking
This renders the external and internal
d o o r c o n t r o l s i n o p e r a t i v e .
Do not operate the deadlocking
function if there is anyone inside
the vehicle.
ACCESS AND STARTING USING THE REMOTE CONTROL KEY
The key

you to lock or unlock the doors, the
b o o t a n d t h e f u e l fi l l e r fl a p a n d f o l d
and unfold the exterior mirrors and in-
d e p e n d e n t l y i t a l l o w s y o u t o o p e n o r
c l o s e t h e g l o v e b o x , l o c k o r u n l o c k t h e
a c c e s s t o t h e b o o t v i a t h e r e a r s e a t s
( 4 0 7 S a l o o n ) a n d s w i t c h o n t h e i g n i t i o n .
I f o n e o f t h e d o o r s o r t h e b o o t i s o p e n ,
t h e c e n t r a l l o c k i n g d o e s n o t w o r k . Unlocking
Press button C .
T h e d i r e c t i o n i n d i c a t o r s fl a s h r a p i d l y
and the exterior mirrors unfold.
The "Folding of the exterior mirrors"
f u n c t i o n c a n b e d e a c t i v a t e d b y a
PEUGEOT dealer.
Unfolding/folding the key
T o u n f o l d o r f o l d t h e k e y , p r e s s b u t t o n A . The remote control (CE 0523)
This carries out the same functions as
t h e k e y , a n d p a r t i a l o p e n i n g o f t h e b o o t
(saloon) or rear screen (407 SW), at a
distance.
I t i s i n c o r p o r a t e d i n t h e k e y a n d c a r r i e s
out remote locking and unlocking.
Locking
Press button B .
The direction indicators come on for
a p p r o x i m a t e l y t w o s e c o n d s a n d t h e
exterior mirrors fold.
Press and hold button B to close the
w i n d o w s a n d s u n r o o f a u t o m a t i c a l l y i n
addition to locking. Unlocking and partial opening of
the boot (saloon) or rear screen
(407 SW)
Press and hold button D .
This action also unlocks the doors.
Permanent locking of the boot
