CHANGING A FRONT BULB
Handle the bulbs with a dry cloth.
2 - Main beam headlamps: H7-55 W.

 Remove the protective cover cor-
responding to the faulty bulb.

 Disconnect the connector.

 Press the end of the securing clips
to free the bulb. Change the bulb.

 When fi tting the new bulb, ensure that
the direction notches are positioned
correctly and the securing clips are
fi xed properly.

 Reconnect the connector.

 Refi t the protective cover.

Direction indicators:
PY 21 W (amber).

 Turn the bulb holder a quarter turn
and remove it.

 Change the bulb.

Front lights
In the engine compartment, remove
the cover secured by one or two but-
terfl y screws, a plastic retainer clip and
two quarter turn screws.

1 - Dipped beam headlamps:
H1-55 W or D2S-35 W xenon bulb.
Xenon bulbs must be replaced by a
PEUGEOT dealer. Amber coloured bulbs (direction
indicators and side repeaters)
must be replaced with bulbs
of identical specifi cation and
colour.
5 - Front fog lamps: H11 - 55 W.
Turn the wheels to full lock.
Access to the bulb is via the fl ap in the
front mud fl ap.
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer.
The headlamps are fi tted with polycar-
bonate glass with a protective coating.
Do not clean them with a dry or abra-
sive cloth, nor with a detergent or sol-
vent product.
Ensure that the liquid used to fi ll the
wash-wipe and headlamp wash reser-
voir is of good quality.

High pressure washing :
when using a high pressure
washer on stubborn dirt, do
not persist on the headlamps,
the lights and their periphery to avoid
damaging their coating and their seal.
In certain climatic conditions (low tem-
perature, humidity), condensation on
the inside surface of the headlamp
glass and rear lights glass is normal;
it disappears a few minutes after the
lights are switched on.

3 - Side lights: W 5 W.

 Remove the protective cover, dis-
connect the connector and then
remove the bulb and change it.

 Put the connector back in place.

 Reconnect the connector.

 Refi t the protective cover.

Left and right fog lamps:
P21 W.

 Carefully unclip the tailgate interior
trim.

 Detach the sealing sheet located
behind the light concerned.

 Remove the bulb holder turning it a
quarter of a turn.

 Change the faulty bulb.
When refi tting, ensure that the bulb is
positioned correctly in the bulb holder.

 Unclip the light (2 clips).

 Disconnect the connector and re-
move the light.

 Unclip the bulb holder moving
aside the 4 tabs.

 Unscrew the bulb and change it.

 Reconnect the connector.

 Lock the bulb holder in place.
When refi tting it, ensure that the
lamp is correctly positioned and
secured, reclipping the rear part
then the front part.

Number plate lights:
W 5 W.

 Insert a thin screwdriver in one of
the exterior holes of the transpar-
ent cover.

 Push it towards the outside to un-
clip it.

 Remove the transparent cover.

 Change the faulty bulb. Third brake light (diodes)
All work on the diode lights must be
carried out by a PEUGEOT dealer.
Wing lights

1. Brake lights/side lights:
P21/5 W.

2. Reversing lights:
P21 W.

3. Direction indicators:
P21 W.
These three bulbs are changed by
removing the light.

 Remove the corresponding boot
side fl ap to gain access to the
light.

 Remove the light fi xing nut inside
the boot.

Note: if necessary, use the wheelbrace
to remove the nuts. In some climatic conditions
(e.g. low temperature or hu-
midity), the presence of misting
on the internal surface of the
glass of the headlamps and rear lamps
is normal; it disappears after the lamps
have been on for a few minutes.

sistance, engraved windows,

"Protection": Seat covers compatible with
side air bags, mats, boot
tray.
For leisure pursuits: roof bars, transportation acces-
sories (bicycle carrier, ski
carrier), roof box, child seats and
booster cushions, rear screen blind,
audio/telephone console, side blinds,
cool box.
Trailer towbar which must be fi tted by
the PEUGEOT Network.
"Touring":
Telephone, hands-free kits,
satellite navigation, CD changer, multimedia, connec-
tion for portable MP3 player
(in the glove box), USB Box.

"In-Car Technology": Alloy wheels, wheel trims,
spoiler, leather steering wheel,
styling strips, door spoilers,
stainless steel sill protectors.

"Styling":
Windscreen wash fl uid, inte-
rior and exterior cleaning and
maintenance products.

"Universal":
The fi tting of electrical equipment or accessories which are not
recommended by PEUGEOT
may result in a failure of your
vehicle's electronic system.

range of recommended equipment
and accessories.

Note
To avoid any jamming under the pedals:
- ensure that the mat is positioned
and secured correctly,
- never place one mat on top of another.
Depending on the country in
which the vehicle is sold, it
is compulsory to have a high
visibility safety jacket, warning
triangle and spare bulbs available in the vehicle.
Installation of radiocommunication
transmitters
It is advisable to contact a representa-
tive of the PEUGEOT marque before
installing accessory radiocommunica-
tion transmitters with external aerial
on your vehicle. The PEUGEOT Network will inform
you of the specifi cations (frequency
waveband, maximum output power,
aerial position, specifi c installation
conditions) of the transmitters which
can be fi tted, in accordance with the
Motor Vehicle Electromagnetic Com-
patibility Directive (2004/104/EC).

407 SW: you can obtain "Van" con-
version kits to convert from a private
vehicle to a van.
