a i r b a g i s d e a c t i v a t e d . O t h e r w i s e , the
child would risk being seriously
injured or killed if the airbag were
t o i n fl a t e . W h e n a " f o r w a r d s - f a c i n g " c h i l d s e a t
is installed on the
front passenger
seat , a d j u s t t h e v e h i c l e ' s s e a t t o t h e
i n t e r m e d i a t e l o n g i t u d i n a l p o s i t i o n w i t h
t h e s e a t b a c k u p r i g h t a n d l e a v e t h e

F o r m a x i m u m s a f e t y , p l e a s e
f o l l o w t h e s e p r e c a u t i o n s :
- i n a c c o r d a n c e w i t h E u r o p e a n r e g - ulations, all children under the
age of 12 or less than one and
a half metres tall must travel in
approved child seats suited to
their weight , o n s e a t s fi t t e d w i t h a
seat belt or ISOFIX mountings * ,
- statistically, the safest seats in
your vehicle for the transpor-
tation of children are the rear
seats,
- a child weighing less than 9 kg
must travel in the "rearwards-
facing" position both in the front
and in the rear.
PEUGEOT recommends that chil-
dren should travel in the rear seats of
y o u r v e h i c l e :
- "rearwards-facing" u p t o t h e a g e
of 2,
- "forwards-facing" over the age
o f 2 .
