Bolt covers
Alloy wheel bolts are covered by
chrome trims.
Use the yellow tool to remove the trims
before slackening the bolts.
Fitting the spare wheel
I f y o u r v e h i c l e i s fi t t e d w i t h a s t e e l
s p a r e w h e e l , w h e n fi t t i n g i t , i t i s nor-
mal when tightening the bolts to
notice that the washers do not come
into contact with the rim. The spare
wheel is secured by the cone shape
of each bolt.
VERY COLD CLIMATE SCREEN *
The very cold climate screen is a par-
t i a l r e m o v a b l e c o v e r w h i c h i s fi x e d
onto the air intake grille to prevent the
accumulation of snow due to direct
splashes.
O n c e i t h a s b e e n fi t t e d o n y o u r v e h i -
cle, it is imperative that it is removed
when the ambient temperature condi-
tions rise above 10°C again.
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer.

Special features of alloy wheels
Anti-theft bolts
Y o u r w h e e l s a r e fi t t e d w i t h a n t i - t h e f t
bolts (one per wheel), placed under
chrome trims which must be removed
using the yellow tool, before the bolts
are unscrewed using the anti-theft
socket and the wheel brace 1 .
Fitting snow tyres
I f y o u fi t s n o w t y r e s m o u n t e d o n s t e e l
wheels onto your vehicle, it is
essen-
tial to use special bolts available from
your PEUGEOT dealer.
Note: this anti-theft socket
was given to you on delivery
of your vehicle with the dupli-
cate keys. Make a careful note
of the code number engraved on the
head of the anti-theft socket. This will
enable you to obtain a duplicate anti-
theft socket from a PEUGEOT dealer.
You are advised to do the same for the
duplicate keys and not to leave the
c o n fi d e n t i a l c a r d i n t h e v e h i c l e .

CHANGING A FUSE
The fuse boxes are placed in the glove
box (passenger side), in the engine
compartment (left-hand side) and in
the left boot trim.
Fascia fuses
To access the fuses, open the glove
box and tilt the fuse box lid.
Replacing a fuse
Before replacing a fuse, the cause of
the incident must be found and recti-
fi e d . T h e f u s e n u m b e r s a r e i n d i c a t e d
on the fuse box. Always replace a faulty fuse
with a fuse of the same rating
(same colour). Use the special pliers located on the
support next to the fuse box, this sup-
port also contains the replacement
fuses.

Before installing other electrical equip-
ment or accessories on your vehicle,
contact a PEUGEOT dealer. PEUGEOT will not accept responsi-
bility for the cost incurred in repairing
your vehicle or for rectifying the mal-
functions resulting from the installation
of accessories not supplied and not
recommended by PEUGEOT and not
installed in accordance with its instruc-
tions, in particular where the equip-
ment in question consumes more than
10 milliamperes. The maxi-fuses provide additional
protection for the electrical systems.
All work must be carried out by a
PEUGEOT dealer.
