FUEL TANK

Capacity of the tank: approximately
67 litres.
Low fuel level
Refuelling A label afï¬ xed to the inside of the fuel
ï¬ ller fl ap indicates which type of fuel to
use depending on your engine.
Additions of fuel must be of at least
5 litres to be registered by the fuel
gauge.
Opening the ï¬ ller cap may cause an
inrush of air. This vacuum is perfectly
normal and results from the sealing of
the fuel system.
When the low fuel level is reached,
this warning lamp comes on in
the instrument panel.
When it ï¬ rst comes on,
about
6 litres of fuel remains in the tank.
To refuel safely:

ï† you must stop the engine, igni-
tion off,

ï† open the ï¬ ller fl ap by pressing
button A ,

ï† turn the ï¬ ller cap to the left, Operating fault
A fuel gauge fault is indicated by the
fuel gauge needle returning to zero.
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer.

ï† remove the ï¬ ller cap and hang it on
the hook located on the inner face
of the ï¬ ller fl ap,

ï† ï¬ ll the tank, but do not continue
past the 3rd cut-off of the nozzle ;
this may cause malfunctions.
Button A is deactivated auto-
matically from 6 mph (10 km/h).
Once you have ï¬ nished refuelling:

ï† Screw on the ï¬ ller cap.

ï† Close the ï¬ ller fl ap.
