For even air distribution, take care
not to obstruct the exterior air intake
grille located at the bottom of the wind-
screen, the vents, the air outlets under
the front seats and the air extractor lo-
cated behind the flaps in the boot.
In certain cases of particularly arduous
use (towing the maximum load on a
steep gradient in hot weather), cutting
off the air conditioning permits recov-
ery of the engine power and therefore
improvement of the towing capacity.
Close the windows to benefit from
the full effectiveness of the air condi-
tioning.
Ensure that the passenger compart-
ment filter is in good condition. Have
the filter elements replaced periodical-
ly. If you drive in a dusty environment,
replace it twice as often.
The air conditioning system does not
contain chlorine and is not harmful to
the ozone layer.
Operate the air conditioning system
for 5 to 10 minutes, once or twice a
month, to keep it in perfect working
order.
The water formed by the air conditioning
condensation is discharged via an open-
ing provided for this purpose. Therefore,
a puddle of water may form underneath
the vehicle when stationary.
If the system does not produce cold
air, do not use it and contact your
PEUGEOT dealer.1.

AUTOMATIC REGULATION OF
THE AIR CONDITIONING
Air diffuser
The air diffuser grille, located at the
top of the centre console, significantly
improves distribution and flows and
prevents air currents, while maintain-
ing an optimum temperature inside the
passenger compartment.
Advice on operation
To obtain even ventilation,
avoid closing the air diffuser
grille 10.
In hot weather, in order to obtain in-
tense ventilation, you can close the air
diffuser grille 10 and use vents 1 and
6 only.
If, when the vehicle has been parked
in the sun for a long time, the interior
temperature remains very high, do not
hesitate to ventilate the passenger
compartment for a few minutes.
Use of the automatic regulation of the
air conditioning is recommended. It per-
mits automatic and optimised control
of all of the following functions: air flow,
passenger compartment temperature
and air distribution, by means of various
sensors (exterior temperature, interior
temperature, sunshine), so preventing
the need for you to change your refer-
ence settings other than the value dis-
played. In addition, a humidity sensor
anticipates the formation of condensa-
tion in the vehicle during its use.
Do not cover the temperature and humid-
ity sensor
2 and the sunshine sensor 9.
They are required for regulation of the
air conditioning.

AUTOMATIC AIR
CONDITIONING (DUAL ZONE)
Dual zone: this is the differentiated
regulation of the temperature and air
distribution on the driver’s side and the
front passenger side.
The driver and his front passenger can
each adjust the temperature and the
distribution of the air to suit their re-
quirements.
The symbols and messages associ-
ated with the automatic air conditioning
controls appear on the multifunction
display.
Control by the Auto programmeAutomatic
programme - driver
and passenger
comfort (1)
Press the "AUTO" button. The indica-
tor light comes on. The "AUTO" sym-
bol is displayed on the multifunction
display.
Depending on the level of comfort se-
lected, the system controls the air dis-
tribution, flow, temperature and intake
of air in order to guarantee comfort
and an adequate circulation of air in
the passenger compartment. You do
not have to make any adjustments.
When the engine is cold, to
prevent too great a distribution
of cold air, the ventilation will
only reach its optimum level
progressively.

driver’s side (2)
Adjustment of the
temperature on the
passenger side (3)
 Press the up or down arrow to
change the temperature on the driv-
er’s side 2 or passenger side 3.
The value indicated on the display cor-
responds to a level of comfort and not
to a temperature in degrees Celsius or
Fahrenheit, depending on the choice of
configuration validated on the display.
A setting around the value 21 makes
it possible to obtain optimum comfort.
However, depending on your require-
ments, a setting between 18 and 24 is
usual. Blower (4)
Air flow
 Turn dial 4 to the
right to increase the
air flow or to the left
to reduce it.
 Turn the dial 4 to the
left until the flow of
air stops. The

This action switches off the display
and the indicator lights.
It deactivates all of the system’s func-
tions, with the exception of the rear
screen demisting.
The temperature-related comfort is no
longer controlled (temperature, humid-
ity, odour, condensation).
Avoid driving for too long with the air
conditioning deactivated.
Deactivation of the air conditioning
The air flow symbol (fan) is displayed on
the multifunction display and is filled in
in relation to the value required.
To prevent condensation and dete-
rioration of the quality of the air in the
passenger compartment, ensure that
an adequate flow of air is maintained. Adjustment of
the driver’s air
distribution (5)
Successive or continuous pressure on
button 5 or 6 enables you to direct the
flow of air on the driver’s side or on the
passenger side independently.
The symbol (arrows) corresponding to
the chosen direction 5 or 6 is displayed
on the multifunction display.  Windscreen and front side
