Screenwash/headlamp wash level low
In the case of vehicles fitted with headlamp washers, when the fluid reservoir low level is reached this warning lamp comes on in the instrument panel, accompanied by an audible signal and a message in the instrument panel screen. The warning lamp comes on when the ignition is switched on, or every time the stalk is operated, until the reservoir is refilled. Next time you stop, refill the screenwash/headlamp wash reservoir.

Changing a bulb
Model with xenon and directional headlamps
1. Daytime running lamps/sidelamps (light emitting diodes - LEDs).2. Directional dipped/main beam headlamps (D1S-35W).
3. Direction indicators (PY21-21W).4. Foglamps (directional according to version) (H8).
Model with halogen headlamps
1. Dipped and main beam headlamps (H7- 55W).2. Sidelamps (W5- 5W).3. Main beam headlamps (H7- 55W).4. Daytime running lamps (SP13-13W).
5. Foglamps (directional according to version) (H8).6. Direction indicators (PY21-21W).
For H7 type bulbs with lugs... take care to obser ve their correct installation so as to ensure the best lighting per formance.
In some weather conditions (e.g. low temperature or humidity), the presence of misting on the internal sur face of the glass of the headlamps and rear lamps is normal; it disappears after the lamps have been on for a few minutes.

Dipped beam headlamps (halogen model)
 Remove the protective plastic cover by pulling on the tab.  Disconnect the bulb connector.  Extract the bulb by pulling and change it. For reassembly, carry out these operations in reverse order.
The headlamps are fitted with polycarbonate glass with a protective coating:  do not clean them using a dr y or abrasive cloth, nor with a detergent or solvent product, use a sponge and soapy water,  when using a high pressure washer on persistent marks, do not direct at the lamps or their outlines for too long, so as not to damage their protective coating and seals.
Risk of electrocution
Xenon bulbs (D1S-35W) must be replaced by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
 Do not touch the bulb directly with your fingers, use lint-free cloths. Changing a bulb should only be done after the headlamp has been switched
off for a few minutes (risk of serious burns). It is imperative to use only anti-ultraviolet (UV) type bulbs in order not to damage the headlamp. Always replace a failed bulb with a new bulb with the same type and specification.

System which manages the duration of use of cer tain functions to conser ve a sufficient level of charge in the battery. After the engine has stopped, you can still use functions such as the audio and telematics system, windscreen wipers, dipped beam headlamps, cour tesy lamps, etc. for a maximum combined duration of thir ty minutes.
Energy economy mode
Switching to economy
mode
A message then appears in the instrument panel screen indicating that the vehicle has switched to economy mode and the active functions are put on standby.
If a telephone call is being made at this time,
it will be maintained for around 10 minutes with the Bluetooth hands-free system of your Peugeot Connect Sound or Peugeot Connect Navigation.
Exiting economy mode
These functions are reactivated automatically next time the vehicle is driven.  In order to resume the use of these functions immediately, star t the engine and let it run: - for less than ten minutes, to use
the equipment for approximately five minutes, - for more than ten minutes, to use the equipment for up to approximately thir ty minutes. Let the engine run for the duration specified to ensure that the battery charge is sufficient. Do not repeatedly and continuously restar t the engine in order to charge the battery. A flat battery prevents the engine from star ting (refer to the "Battery" section).

Checks
The coolant level should be close to the "MA X" mark but should never exceed it. When the engine is warm, the temperature of the coolant is regulated by the fan. This can operate with the ignition off. On vehicles which are fitted with a par ticle emission filter, the fan may operate after the vehicle has been switched off, even if the engine is cold.
In addition, as the cooling system is pressurised, wait at least one hour after switching off the engine before carrying out any work. To avoid any risk of scalding, unscrew the cap
by two turns to allow the pressure to drop. When the pressure has dropped, remove the cap and top up the level.
Changing the coolant
The coolant does not have to be changed.
Fluid specifi cation
The coolant must conform to the manufacturer's recommendations. Fluid specifi cation
For optimum cleaning and to avoid freezing, this fluid must not be topped up with or replaced with plain water.
Screenwash and headlamp
wash fluid
In the case of vehicles fitted with headlamp washers, the low fluid level is indicated by an audible signal and a message in the instrument panel screen. Top up the reser voir when you stop the vehicle.
