FILLING WITH FUEL Low fuel levelWhen the minimum fuel level is reached, this warn-ing light comes on, accom-panied by an audible signaland the message 'Fuel
level low' on the multi-function dis-
play.
You can can still drive approxi- mately 30 miles (50 km) withoutfilling up with fuel. Filling with fuelLocking and unlocking of the fuel filler flap, the doors and the boot issimultaneous (except when selectiveunlocking is initialised; in this casepress the unlocking button of theremote control again).

BONNET Opening Pull the lever, located in the dri- ver's footwell, downwards.
 Lift the catch and raise the bon-net.
Bonnet assister struts open the bon-net and keep it open. Closing
 Lower the bonnet and release it at the end of its travel.
 Check that it is locked.
'Bonnet open' warning With the ignition on (2nd notch), with the engine running or when the vehi-cle is moving, the door open warn-ing light comes on, accompanied byan audible signal and a diagram on
the multi-function display, if the bon-net is not properly closed.
¥ Safety auto-reverse (on sliding only) When the sunroof is closing and meets an obstacle, it stops thenpartially opens again.
In the event of unwanted opening ofthe sunroof on closing, press part B
of the switch until the sunroof is fully
open. As soon as the sunroof stops,press part Aof the switch until the
sunroof is fully closed. The safety auto-reverse function is not operational during this ope-ration. Note: the sunroof shutter is manual.
Always remove the key from the ignition when leaving thevehicle, even for a shorttime.
In the event of contact when opera-ting the windows, you must reverse
the movement of the window. To dothis, press the switch concerned. When the driver operates the pas- senger window switches, he mustensure that no one is preventing cor-
rect closing of the window. The driver must ensure that passen- gers use the electric windows correct-
ly. Be aware of children when operating the windows.

EXTERIOR MIRRORS Adjustment from the inside

When the vehicle is parked, theexterior mirrors can be folded
back manually. Automatically adjustable mirrors for parking These allow you to see the ground (kerb, wall...) when carrying out park-
ing manoeuvres in reverse gear.
Tilting the mirror to the parking posi- tion:
 switch on the direction indicatoron the parking side,
 engage reverse gear. The exterior mirror corresponding to the side on which you are park-ing tilts downwards.
Returning the mirror to the previousposition:  change out of reverse gear.
Note: to be active, this function must
be initialised by adjusting the mirror,with reverse gear engaged and thedirection indicator on the side of themirror to be adjusted switched on. Each remote control can memorise a specific setting.
The driver's mirror is con- vex in order to eliminatethe 'blind spot' (area atedge defined by a dottedline).
As a result, objects observed inthe driver's and passenger's mir-rors are in reality closer than they
appear. This must be taken into account to judge correctly the distance ofvehicles approaching frombehind.
