Always remove the key
from the ignition when leav-

senger window switches, he must

Opening the doors from outside
Opening the doors from inside Locking/unlocking from
the inside
- Using button
A of the centre con-
sole:
This allows the doors, the boot and the fuel iller lap to be locked or
unlocked.
Note: the button A indicator light is lit
when the vehicle is locked.
- Using button B on the door:
• on the front doors this allows the doors, the boot and the fuel iller
lap to be locked or unlocked.
• on the rear doors this allows the door concerned to be locked or
the doors, boot and fuel iller
lap to be unlocked.
Note: buttons A and B and control
C are deactivated if the vehicle is
deadlocked.

Child safety
This prevents either of the rear doors
being opened from inside.

Turn the switch a quarter of a turn
using the ignition key.
Automatic central locking of the
doors
The doors can lock automatically
while driving (speed above 6 mph
[10 km/h]).
You can activate or deactivate this
function by pressing button
A for
more than 2 seconds.
This is indicated by a message on
the multifunction display.
Note: driving with the doors locked
may make access to the passenger
compartment by the emergency
services more dificult in an emer-
gency.
'Door open' alert
With the engine running or when
the vehicle is moving, the door open
warning light comes on accompa-
nied by an audible signal and/or a
diagram indicating the relevant door
on the multi-function display.MOTORISED BOOT

Permanent locking of the boot
This function can be
activated or deactivated
via the multifunction dis-
play "Personalisation-
Coniguration" menu.
Vehicle unlocked
F Press button A on the remote
control key or press the push but-
ton B on the boot lid.
If the automatic central locking is
activated, when the vehicle reaches
a speed of 6 mph (10 km/h), the boot
is locked and the push button B is
deactivated. It is reactivated when
stationary by the opening of one of
the doors.
Closing the boot lid
Press the push button C to start elec-
tric closing of the boot lid.
Note: do not hinder closing of the
boot lid: any obstacle to closing
causes the boot lid to stop and rise a
few centimetres automatically.
When opening or closing the boot,
ensure that no-one is close to the
rear of the vehicle to avoid the risk
of injury.
To close the boot lid manually, use
one of the two handles inside the
boot lid. 'Boot open' warning
With the engine running or when
the vehicle is moving, the door open
warning light comes on, accompa-
nied by an audible signal and/or a
diagram indicating the boot on the
multi-function display, if the boot is
not properly closed.
Stopping opening or closing
of the boot lid
While electric opening or closing of
the boot lid is in progress, you can
stop its movement at any time:
F
press the push-button B or C on
the boot lid.
or
F press button A on the remote con-
trol key.
When it is stopped, the boot lid is
held in an intermediate position elec-
trically for approximately 10 minutes.
After this time, the system switches
to standby and releases the boot lid.
To leave the intermediate position,
start an electric opening or closing
operation or move the boot lid manu-
ally.
F
When the function is active, the
boot can only be opened by
pressing button A on the remote
control key.
This action will only unlock the boot.

SUNROOF
You have two options:
Manual operation: F
lightly press the switch; the roof
stops as soon as the switch is
released.
Automatic operation: F press the switch down fully; the
roof opens or closes completely
depending on where the switch is
pressed.
• to partially open the roof: press
part A of the switch. To close it,
press part B of the switch.
• to open the roof completely:
press part B of the switch.
• to close it completely: press part
A of the switch. Safety auto-reverse
(on sliding only)
When the sunroof is closing and
meets an obstacle, it stops then par-
tially opens again.
In the event of unwanted opening of
the sunroof on closing:
- press part
B of the switch until the
sunroof is fully open,
- as soon as the sunroof stops, press part A of the switch until the sun-
roof is fully closed.
The safety auto-reverse function
is not operational during this
operation.
Note: the sunroof shutter is manual.
Tailgate release
This enables the tailgate to be un-
locked in the event of a central locking
fault.
- Fold back the rear seats to gain
access to the lock from inside the
boot,
- Insert a small screwdriver into hole A of the lock to unlock the tailgate.

SUNROOF
You have two options:
Manual operation: F
lightly press the switch; the roof
stops as soon as the switch is
released.
Automatic operation: F press the switch down fully; the
roof opens or closes completely
depending on where the switch is
pressed.
• to partially open the roof: press
part A of the switch. To close it,
press part B of the switch.
• to open the roof completely:
press part B of the switch.
• to close it completely: press part
A of the switch. Safety auto-reverse
(on sliding only)
When the sunroof is closing and

Tailgate release
This enables the tailgate to be un-
locked in the event of a central locking
fault.
- Fold back the rear seats to gain
access to the lock from inside the
boot,

correctly.
Be aware of children when operating
the sunroof.
FILLING WITH FUEL
Low fuel level
When the minimum fuel
level is reached, this warn-
ing light comes on, accom-
panied by an audible signal
and a message on the
multi-function display.
You can can still drive approximately
30 miles (50 km) without illing up
with fuel.
Filling with fuel
Locking and unlocking of the fuel
iller lap, the doors and the boot is
simultaneous.
The engine and the ignition must
be switched off when illing with
fuel:
F Open the fuel iller lap by press-
ing the front,
F Unscrew the cap and hook it over
the tab located on the inside of the
lap.
When illing up your tank, do not
continue after the 3rd cut-off of the
pump; this could cause your vehicle
to malfunction.
The capacity of the tank is
approximately 80 litres.
F After illing the tank, screw the cap
on fully and close the fuel iller
lap.
Fuel iller cap open When this light comes on,
accompanied by an audible
signal and/or a message on
the multifunction display,
screw the cap on again and
close the fuel iller lap.

Pull the stalk fully towards you.
Lights on
With the ignition and the automatic
lights function switched off, on open-
ing the driver's door a buzzer sounds
to warn you that you have left your
lights on.
Front and rear fog lamps (ring B)
F Turn ring B forwards to switch on
and backwards to switch off. The
position is conirmed by the light
on the instrument panel.
Front fog lamps (one
press)
These operate with the side lights,
dipped headlamps or main beam
headlamps.
Rear fog lamps (two presses)
These operate with the side lights
and the front fog lamps, or with the
dipped headlamps. Left:
downwards.
Right: upwards
Direction indicators (lashers)
Note:
if you forget to return the direc-
tion indicator to its normal position,
the volume of the audible signal will
increase, if you are driving at a speed
greater than 50 mph (80 km/h).
Parking lights
The parking lights are lit on the side
the trafic is on.
With the engine switched off, place
the indicator lights stalk on the traf-
ic side (for example: for parking on
the right; switching on of the lights on
the left).
This is indicated by an audible signal
and lighting of the corresponding
direction indicator on the instrument
panel.
Automatic "follow-me-home" lighting
When you leave your vehicle with
the automatic switching on of the
lights activated , the side lights and
dipped headlamps remain on for the
duration selected when the ignition is
switched off.
To deactivate or activate this func-
tion, pass via the multifunction display
"Personalisation-Configuration"
menu.
