f r o n t p a s s e n g e r f a s t e n s h i s s e a t b e l t .
W h e n t h e v e h i c l e i s m o v i n g , t h e w a r n -
i n g l i g h t c o m e s o n i f t h e d r i v e r o r o n e
o f t h e f r o n t o r r e a r p a s s e n g e r s u n f a s -
tens his seat belt.
Diesel engine pre-heating
warning light
I f t h e t e m p e r a t u r e i s s u f i -
c i e n t , t h e w a r n i n g l i g h t d o e s
not come on and you can
s t a r t w i t h o u t w a i t i n g .
I f t h e w a r n i n g l i g h t c o m e s o n , w a i t
u n t i l i t g o e s o u t b e f o r e o p e r a t i n g t h e
starter.
If no malfunction has been
detected: the CHECK OK
indicator light comes on af-
t e r t w o s e c o n d s ( f o l l o w i n g a
b l a c k s c r e e n ) , i n t h e a b s e n c e
o f i n d i c a t o r l i g h t s s h o w i n g t h e s t a t u s
o f v e h i c l e f u n c t i o n s . I f t h e s e i n d i c a t o r
l i g h t s a r e p r e s e n t , t h e CHECK OK in-
d i c a t o r l i g h t w i l l c o m e o n a f t e r t h e s e .
You may start your vehicle.
If a "minor" malfunction has been
detected: t h e w a r n i n g l i g h t f o r t h e
faulty function comes on. Certain in-
d i c a t o r l i g h t s s h o w i n g t h e s t a t u s o f
v e h i c l e f u n c t i o n s m a y a l s o c o m e o n ,
f o l l o w e d b y t h e CHECK OK indicator
light.
You can start your vehicle; h o w e v e r ,
contact a PEUGEOT dealer as soon
a s p o s s i b l e .
If a "major" malfunction has been
detected: t h e c o r r e s p o n d i n g w a r n i n g
light comes on. Certain indicator lights
s h o w i n g t h e s t a t u s o f v e h i c l e f u n c t i o n s
may also come on. The CHECK OK
indicator light does not come on.
Do not start your vehicle.

The display of certain warning lights

function display.
Press the "CHECK" button on the
