Display of this warning light,

the multifunction display, indicates an
ESP/ASR system malfunction.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer.
Battery charge warning
light

Display of this warning light,
when the engine is running, accompa-
nied by an audible signal and a message
on the multifunction display, indicates:
- faulty operation of the charging cir- cuit,
- loose battery or starter terminals,
- a cut or slack alternator belt,
- an alternator fault.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer.
Tyre under-inl ation
warning light
Display of this warning light
is accompanied by an audi-
ble signal and a message on
the multifunction display locating the
under-inl ated wheel.
Have the tyre pressure checked as
soon as possible. Engine oil level warning
light
Display of this warning light
is accompanied by an audi-
ble signal and a message on
the multifunction display.
It indicates that the oil level is too low.
Check the level using the dipstick.
If the level is too low, remove the cap
and top it up.
Low coolant level warning
light
Display of this warning light
is accompanied by an audi-
ble signal and a message on
the multifunction display.

Stop immediately.

Warning: wait for the engine to cool
before topping up, if necessary.
The cooling system is pressurised.
In the event of breakdown and to pre-
vent the risk of scalding, unscrew the
cap by two notches to allow the pres-
sure to drop.
When the pressure has dropped, re-
move the cap and top up the level.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer. Electronic immobiliser
warning light
Display of this warning light
is accompanied by an audi-

It indicates a malfunction of the elec-
tronic immobiliser system.

is pressed.
Fill the windscreen/headlamp wash
reservoir the next time you stop. Door/boot open warning light

has not been closed correctly.
Display of this warning light in red,
when the vehicle is moving, is ac-

placed by a PEUGEOT dealer as soon

Low fuel level warning
light
This is linked with the warn-
ing light on the instrument
panel.
Display of this warning light is ac-
companied by an audible signal and a
message on the multifunction display.
When the warning light comes on, you
have enough fuel to drive approxi-
mately 30 miles (50 km). The tank ca-
pacity is approximately 80 litres.
Fuel cap warning light
Display of this warning light
in orange, when the engine
is running, is accompanied
by a diagram on the multi-
function display.
Display of this warning light in red,
when the vehicle is moving, is accom-
panied by an audible signal and a dia-
gram on the multifunction display.
It comes on if the fuel tank cap is not
correctly screwed on or is missing.

Anti-lock braking system
(ABS) warning light
This is linked to the warn-
ing light on the instrument
panel.
Display of this warning light is ac-
companied by an audible signal and a
message on the multifunction display.
If the warning light remains on, or
comes on at over 8 mph (12 km/h), this
indicates a malfunction of the ABS.
However, the vehicle retains conven-
tional servo-assisted braking.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer.
Automatic headlamp
adjustment warning light
Display of this warning light
is accompanied by an audi-
ble signal and a message on
the multifunction display.
It comes on if there is a malfunction of
the system on vehicles i tted with xe-
non bulbs.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer. Electronically controlled
suspension warning light
Display of this warning light
is accompanied by an audi-
ble signal and a message on
the multifunction display.
It comes on when there is a malfunc-
tion of the electronically controlled
suspension.
Select the automatic mode and con-
tact a PEUGEOT dealer.
Particulate emission i lter
saturation warning light
(Diesel)
Display of this warning light
is accompanied by an audi-
ble signal and a message on
the multifunction display.
When it comes on with the engine
running, this indicates the start of
saturation of the particulate emission
i lter (exceptionally long periods of
town type driving conditions: reduced
speed, long tailbacks...).
To regenerate the i lter, you are ad-
vised to drive as soon as possible
and when trafi c conditions permit at a
speed of 35 mph (60 km/h) or more for
at least i ve minutes (until the warning
light goes out).
If the light remains on, contact a PEUGEOT
dealer.
When it comes on when the vehicle is
moving, it indicates a lack of diesel ad-
ditive in the reservoir for burning of the
particles.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer.

Note: after prolonged operation of
the vehicle at a very low speed or at
idle, you may sometimes notice steam
coming from the exhaust during ac-
celeration. This has no effect on the
performance of the vehicle or on the
environment.

It comes on if there is an abnormality
in the automatic gearbox.

To limit the discomfort resulting from use of the manual controls, we recommend
the following settings:
Control via the manual controls
It is possible to adjust one or more
functions manually while leaving the
other functions in automatic mode.
The
"AUTO" button indicator light is
switched off.
Switching to manual mode may result
in discomfort (temperature, humidity,
odour, condensation) and is not ad-
vantageous for comfort.
To return to automatic mode, press the

"AUTO" button.

Automatic day/night interior
mirror Operation

Switch on the ignition and press switch
1 :
- Indicator light 2 lit (switch pressed):
automatic operation.
- Indicator light 2 off: automatic sys-
tem off. The mirror remains at its
most clear.
Special feature
To ensure maximum visibility
during manoeuvres, the mir-
ror clears automatically when
reverse gear is engaged.
Manual interior mirror
The interior mirror has two positions:
- day (normal),
- night (anti-dazzle).
To change from one to the other, push
or pull the lever on the lower edge of
the mirror.
STEERING WHEEL HEIGHT
AND DEPTH ADJUSTMENT
This automatically and gradually
changes between the day and night
positions. To prevent dazzling, the
glass of the mirror darkens automati-
cally depending on the intensity of the
light from behind. It clears as the light
(headlamps of following vehicles, sun-
light) decreases, ensuring maximum
visibility.
 When the vehicle is stationary, un-
lock the steering wheel by pushing
handle A .

 Adjust the height and depth of the
steering wheel.

 Lock by pulling handle A fully.
