THE KEYS
The keys allow you to switch on
the ignition and to independently
operate the front doors, the fuel
filler cap, the glove box, the pas
senger air bag disarming switch
and the mechanical child lock.
Central locking
From the driver’s or passenger
door, the keys allow you to lock,
deadlock or unlock the doors and
the tailgate and to fold back the
exterior mirrors.
If one of the doors or the boot is
open, it is impossible to operate
the central locking.
The remote control performs
the same functions at a
distance.The remote control key
Locking
Press button
Ato lock the vehicle.

and reinitialises the remote con- trol.
Deadlocking

vehicle and close the windows
automatically.
A second press on button Ain

CRUISE CONTROL
The cruise control makes it possi
ble to maintain a constant vehicle
speed programmed by the driver
(above 25 mph [40 km/h] with 4 th
or 5 th
gear engaged), without the
accelerator pedal being pressed.
Switching on

warning light comes
on, accompanied by

Storing a speed
➜Press button 2 or 3 to store the
speed at which you are driving.

at the left foot of the passenger
seat and pull the control upwards. FILLING WITH FUEL
This operation must be carried out with
the engine switched off.
➜ Open the fuel filler cap.
➜ Insert the key then turn it to the left.
➜ Remove the cap and hook it onto the clip on the inside of the flap.
A label on the inside of the flap shows which type of fue l to use.
When you fill your tank, do not continue after the third cu toff of the pump.
This could cause a malfunction.
The capacity of the tank is approximately 17 gallons (80 litres).
➜ After filling the tank, lock the cap and close the flap.
Low fuel level warning light
From the time this light comes on, accompanied by the
message "Fuel level low" , the range remaining is
approximately 30 miles(50 km).
OPENING THE BONNET
Outside the vehicle:
lift the control, raise the
bonnet and secure the
strut to keep the bonnet
open.

This cycle consists of alternating 2 types of service, A and C, int ermediate visits and a few additional operations specific to

The remote keypad
This permits selection and validation
of the functions, commands and
parameters, displayed on the mono
chrome screen and the DT colour
screen .
It is located next to the gear lever. The knob has two functions:

Rotation of the knob:
This enables you to move aroundthe screen and thus select a function.
It also permits: – with a " setting" type parameter, following selection, increasing or decreas
ing of the value,
– with a " list" type parameter, after opening the list, scrolling of the values,
– with guidance on a map, increasing or decreasing of the zoomfactor.
– Pressing the knob
This permits:– access to the list of commands (contextrelated menu) of the permanent
application displayed, if no superimposed display appears,
– validation of the selected function or of the modified value,
– selection of a "setting " or "list" type parameter in order to modify it.
"MODE" button:
– Brief press: modification of the permanent application displ ay (audio
equipment, navigation/guidance, ...)
– Pressing for more than two seconds: displaying of the general information.
"ESC" button:
– Brief press: cancellation of the operation in progress or clearing of the last
superimposed display.
– Pressing for more than two seconds: clearing of all of the sup erimposed
displays and return to the permanent application.
"MENU" button:
– Brief press: acces to the general menu.
– Pressing for more than two seconds: acces to the help menu.
"MUSIC" button
– Brief press: displaying of the contextrelated menu of the act ive audio source
(tuner, CD, ...).
"TEL" button
– Brief press: opening of the line, in the case of an incomi ng call, or displaying
of the telephone source contextrelated menu.
"NAV" button:
– Brief press: displaying of the contextrelated menu of the navigation/guidance function.
"MAIN" button:
– Brief press: displaying of the general information.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS On/off
With the ignition key in the accessories or ignition position , press button Mto switch the set on or off.
The set can operate for 30 minutes without the vehicle ign ition being switched on.
Antitheft system
The audio system is coded in such a way that it can operate on ly on your vehicle. It would not function if fitted to another
vehicle.
The antitheft system is automatic and requires no action on your part.
ADJUSTING THE VOLUME
Press button Oto increase the volume, or button Nto decrease it.
Continuous pressure on buttons Oand Nallows a gradual adjustment of the volume.
AUDIO SETTINGS Press button G several times in succession to access the bass ( BASS), treble(TREB), loudness (LOUD),
fader (FAD) , balance ( BAL)and automatic volume correction.
Exit from audio mode is automatic after a few seconds without p ressing any button, or by pressing button G
after configuration of the automatic volume correction.
Note: bass and treble settings are specific to each source. It is possibl e to set them differently for radio, cas
sette (RB3) , CD (RD3) and CD changer.
