THE SEATS
Front seats with manual adjustment
1 Forwards/backwards adjustment
Lift the bar and slide the seat forwards or backwards.
2 Seat back angle adjustment Pull the lever upwards.
3 Driver's seat height adjustment Manoeuvre the handle upwards or downwards until the
desired position is reached.
4 Driver's seat lumbar adjustment Move the lever up or down to obtain the required posi
tion.
5 Head restraint height and angle adjustment To raise or lower the restraint, push it forwards, at the
same time sliding it.
The adjustment is correct when the upper edge
of the head restraint is level with the top of the
head.
To remove it, set it in the high position, lift the tab using
a coin and pull upwards and forwards at the same time.
To reinstall, engage the head restraint rods in the
holes, making sure they are aligned with the seat back.
Never drive with the head restraints removed; they
must be in place and correctly adjusted.
6 Rotating of seats Place the seat back in the upright position and move
the steering wheel forward. Place the seat in the middle position on the runner and at maximum height.
On the driver's side, apply the handbrake, then release,
pulling on the end.
Pull the control upwards and rotate the seat inwards.
This rotating operation must be carried out with the
engine switched off.
The passenger must not be facing the rear when the
vehicle is being driven.

Push the control forwards or backwards to slide the seat.
B Driver's seat height adjustment Push the rear part of the control upwards or downwards to
obtain the required height.
C Seat back angle adjustment Tilt the control to the front or the rear to obtain the co rrect
angle.
D Driver's seat lumbar adjustment (mechanical) Raise or lower the lever to obtain the correct position.
E Head restraint height and angle adjustment To raise or lower the head restraint, pull forwards, at the
same time sliding it.
The setting is correct when the upper edge of the
head restraint is level with the top of the head.
To remove the head restraint, place it in the high position , lift
the tab using a coin and pull upwards and
forwards at the same time.
To reinstall, engage the head restraint rods in the holes,
making sure they are aligned with the seat back.
Never drive with the head restraints removed; they must be
in place and correctly adjusted.
F Rotating of seats (mechanical) Place the seat back in the upright position and move the
steering wheel forward.
Place the seat in the middle position on the runner andat maximum height.
On the driver's side, apply the handbrake, then release,
pulling on the end.
Pull the control upwards and rotate the seat inwards.
This rotating operation must be carried out with the engine
switched off.The passenger must not be facing the rear when the vehicle
is being driven.
Note: the electrical functions of the seats are cancelled one
minute after the ignition has been switched off.

4 12V socket
You have a 12V accessory socket at
the foot of the driver's seat, which is
accessible to passengers in the
2
nd
row.
5 Front and rear armrests
To place the armrest in its rest
position:
– Lift the armrest until it is is aligned with the seat back.
To place the armrest in the position
in which it is used:
– Push it towards the rear.
– Fold it down completely.
– Raise it slowly to the required position.
– If you lift it past the required position, restart the above operations.
To remove it occasionally:
– Lift the armrest, going past the idle position.
– press its securing pin firmly and tilt it fully.
– Pull towards you to remove it from its fixing.
To put it back in place:
– place it in its removal position.
– Push as far as the fixing allows.
FRONT SEAT LAYOUT
1 Storage drawers
There is a storage drawer under
each front seat.
– To open it, lift and pull.
– To take it out, open it to its full
extent, press the ends of the slides
and lift it, then remove it complete
ly.
Note: under the seat on the passen
ger side, if the vehicle has an ampli
fier, it will not be possible to use the
storage drawer. 2 Retaining elastic straps
There is an elastic retaining strap on
each front seat, on the centre side.
– In the side position (elastic strap
on your own seat), this can be
used as a magazine holder.
– In the transverse position (elastic straps hooked between the two
seats), it can hold a bag.
3 'Aviation' type table
You have an 'aviation' type table fitted
with a can holder, fitted to each front
seat.
Do not forget to fold this before
pivoting the seat.
Note: each front seat also has a
pocket for money on the seat back

Removing a seat
Fold the corresponding seat.
Grasp the two bars Gunder the seat
and tighten them securely.
The front anchorages unlock.
Lift the seat and carry it using the
carrying handle H.
Refitting a seat
Check that there is no obstacle
obstructing the slides or preventing
correct locking of the seat.
Locate the front anchorages in the
slides (if necessary tighten the two
bars Gsecurely).
Tilt the folded seat towards the rear.
The rear anchorages lock.
Lift the seat back (for the centre seat,
move control E) Turning a seat round
The rear seats can be placed in the
'rearwards facing' position.
For this, after the seat has been fold
ed, carry out the removal and replac
ing operations for the seat and turn it
round.

Table position of the centre seat
Place the head restraint in the low
position.
Push control Eupwards.
Tilt the seat back forwards.
You now have a table with two cup
holders.
Folding the centre seat
Place the seat in the table position.
Lift control F
Place the seat in the closed position. This turning operation
must be carried out with
the engine switched off.
It is prohibited to sit facing
the rear when the vehicle
is being driven.
Never use the adjusting straps to
remove, refit or transport a seat.
When the vehicle is being driven,
it is prohibited to place a side seat
in the closed position, when a
passenger is sitting in the 3rd row.

"ISOFIX" MOUNTINGS
Available on the rear side seats, the
Isofix mountings allow fitting of a
special child seatfor Peugeot vehi
cles and sold by Peugeot dealers.
The locks incorporated in the child
seat fit onto the Isofix mountings and
ensure safe, reliable and fast assem
bly.
The special approved child seat is
the KIDDY Isofix seat. It can be fitted
in the "rearfacing" position from birth
to 13 kg and in the "forwardsfacing"
position from 9 kg to 18 kg.
The combined use of the Isofix
mountings, the restraining cushion
and the seat belt is compulsoryin
the "forwardsfacing" position. In the
"rearfacing" position, use both the
Isofix mountings and the child seat
harness. In the 2nd row rear side seats, the
child seat may be fitted in the "for
wards facing" or "rearwards facing"
position. Adjust the seat to the most
rearward position.
The correspond
ing front seat MUST be in the mid
slide position, seat back upright .
The special KIDDY Isofix child
seat must not be installed on the
3rd row rear side seats.
This seat can also be used on seats
not fitted with Isofix mountings , in the
"rear facing" or "forwardsfacing"
position : Buckling of the threepoint
seat belt is then compulsory.
Follow the instructions for fitting
the child seat given in the manu
facturer's instruction booklet.
REAR HEAD RESTRAINTS
The rear head restraints can be
removed and have two positions;
– high, position for use
– low, storage position
To raise or lower a head restraint,
pull it forwards sliding it at the same
time.
To remove it, place it in the high posi
tion, push the lug and pull it forwards
and upwards.
To refit it, engage the head restraint
rods in the holes taking care to
remain in the centreline of the seat
back.
Never drive with the head
restraints removed, they
must be in place and
correctly adjusted.

REAR INTERIOR LAYOUT
1. Access handle

Open the covers of the upper
fastenings at the 3rd row.
Install the ends of the metal bar
in these fastenings.
Secure the two tray strap hooks
in the stowing rings on the floor.
Pull the two straps taut.
Secure the two hooks on the
elastic parts of the tray in these
rings.
Note: the rings are located
directly below the corresponding
upper fastenings. 5. Storage compartment

Fold the net in two.
Secure the two centre hooks in
the stowing rings on the floor.
Secure the net's remaining four
hooks on the tailgate pillars.

12. Tonneau To install it :
– position one end of the tonneau roller in the 2nd row, – compress the opposite end of
the roller and position it,
– release it to allow it to engage,
– unroll the tonneau as far as the rear shelf,
– secure the two hooks under the rear shelf,
To remove it:
– remove the tonneau hooks under the rear shelf,
– return the tonneau into its roller,
– compress it and remove it from its support at the 2nd row.
13. Rear shelf with umbrella holder
To remove the shelf:
– pull it rearward
– lift it slightly, then remove it
There are several options for
storing it:
– either hooked onto the ton neau
– or behind the seats or the rear bench seat

For the front, side and curtain air bags to be fully effec tive, observe the following safety rules:
• W ear a correctly adjusted seat belt.
• Sit in a normal upright position.
• Do not leave anything between the occupants of the front seats and the air bags (a child, pet, object).
This could hamper the operation of the air bags or injure th e occupants.
• All work on the air bag system is strictly forbidden unless it is ca rried out by qualified personnel of the PEUGEOT net
work.
• After an accident or if the vehicle has been stolen or broken into, have the air bag systems checked.
• The air bag systems have been designed to be fully operation al for 10 years after the vehicle has been registered.
For greater safety, have them checked by a PEUGEOT dealer within 10 years of purchase of the vehicle.
Front air bags
• Do not drive holding the steering wheel by its spokes or resti ng your hands on the centre part of the wheel.
• Passengers must not place their feet on the fascia.
• Smoke as little as possible; deployment of the air bags can cau se burns or the risk of injury from a cigarette or pipe.
• Never remove or pierce the steering wheel or hit it violently.
Side air bags
• Only put approved covers on the front seats. Contact your PEUGEOT dealer.
• Do not fix or glue anything to the front seat backs. This co uld cause injury to the chest or arms when the side air bag
inflates.
• Do not sit with the upper part of the body any nearer to the door than necessary.
Curtain air bags
• Do not fix or glue anything to the pillars or the roof. T his could cause injury to the head when the curtain air bag
inflates.
• Do not remove the bolts from the grab handles installed on the roof, they play a part in securing the curtain air bags.
