"ISOFIX" MOUNTINGS
Available on the rear side seats, the
Isofix mountings allow fitting of a
special child seatfor Peugeot vehi
cles and sold by Peugeot dealers.
The locks incorporated in the child
seat fit onto the Isofix mountings and
ensure safe, reliable and fast assem
bly.
The special approved child seat is
the KIDDY Isofix seat. It can be fitted
in the "rearfacing" position from birth
to 13 kg and in the "forwardsfacing"
position from 9 kg to 18 kg.
The combined use of the Isofix
mountings, the restraining cushion
and the seat belt is compulsoryin
the "forwardsfacing" position. In the
"rearfacing" position, use both the
Isofix mountings and the child seat
harness. In the 2nd row rear side seats, the
child seat may be fitted in the "for
wards facing" or "rearwards facing"
position. Adjust the seat to the most
rearward position.
The correspond
ing front seat MUST be in the mid
slide position, seat back upright .
The special KIDDY Isofix child
seat must not be installed on the
3rd row rear side seats.
This seat can also be used on seats
not fitted with Isofix mountings , in the
"rear facing" or "forwardsfacing"
position : Buckling of the threepoint
seat belt is then compulsory.
Follow the instructions for fitting
the child seat given in the manu
facturer's instruction booklet.
REAR HEAD RESTRAINTS
The rear head restraints can be
removed and have two positions;
– high, position for use
– low, storage position
To raise or lower a head restraint,
pull it forwards sliding it at the same
time.
To remove it, place it in the high posi

and upwards.
To refit it, engage the head restraint
rods in the holes taking care to
remain in the centreline of the seat
back.
Never drive with the head
restraints removed, they
must be in place and
correctly adjusted.

CHILD SEATS
Although one of PEUGEOT's main criteria when designing your vehi cle, the safety of your children also depends on you.
For optimum safety, please follow the following precaution s:
all children under the age of 10 are required to travel in approved restraining equipment*, suited to their weight, in a seat
fitted with a seat belt.
front passenger seat*: children under the age of 10 must not travel in the "forwards facing" position**
The "rear facing" position is authorised . It is then essential to disarm the passenger air bag.
After carrying out numerous tests, to offer your children th e best possible protection, PEUGEOT recommends the
following systems:
From birth to 13 kg
"Britax Babysure": installed facing the rear and secured with a thre epoint seat belt, on either the front or rear seat.
In the front, the passenger seat must be adjusted to the "midway"position and the passenger air bag MUST be
disarmed.
From 9 to 18 kg "Römer Prince": fitted in the rear with a threepoint seat belt .
For the safety of your children, the seat and the restraining cushion must never be separated.
From 15 to 25 kg "Römer Vario": fitted in the rear with a two or three point seat belt.

Never leave a child or an
animal in a vehicle which
is exposed to the sun
with the windows closed.
Never leave the keys within reach
of children inside the car. Disarm the passenger air bag when a "rearwards facing" childseat is installed on this seat. Thechild would risk being killed orseriously injured if the air bagwere to inflate.
Strictly observe the recommenda
tions for fitting and fastening the
child seat, indicated in the instruc
tions.
From 15 to 36 kg
"Recaro Start": fitted in the rear with a threepoint seat bel t.
The height and depth of the seat back, and the length o f the seat cushion,
must be adjusted according to the age and size of your child .
"Klippan Optima": is fitted in the rear with a three–point seat belt.
Above 6 years (approximately 45 lbs or 22 kg), use the booster on it s own.
Note : when installing a child seat on a 3rd row side seat, thi s seat must be
pushed back fully.
Remember, even for short journeys, to fasten the seat belts or t he child seat
harness, keeping the slack in relation to the child's body to a minimum.
To prevent the doors from opening accidentally, use the ''chi ldproof'' lock.
Also, do not open the rear windows more than a third.
* According to current legislation.
** Unless the rear seats are already occupied by other children or t he rear seats
cannot be used (not present, folded). In this case, adjust th e front passenger
seat to the position furthest back and leave the air bag act ive.

SEAT BELTS

nd
row front and rear side seat
belts
The 2 nd
row front and rear side seats
are fitted with pre–tensioners and
force limiters.
To adjust the height :
 To lower the attachment point,
squeeze control 1and slide it
downwards.
 To raise the attachment point,
slide control 1upwards.
To lock Pull the strap, then insert the
buckle into the stalk. Pretensioning and
forcelimiting seat belts
Safety in the event of a frontal impact
has been improved by the introduc
tion of pretensioning and forcelimit
ing seat belts. Depending on the
seriousness of the impact, the
pretensioning system instantly tight
ens the seat belts firmly against the
body of the occupant.
The pretensioning seat belts are
armed when the ignition is on.
The forcelimiting device reduces the
pressure of the seat belt against the
occupant's body in the event of an
accident.
3
rd
row rear side seat belts
The 3 rd
row rear side seats are fitted
with two seat belts which are both
threepoint inertia reel belts with
force limiter.
To install the seat belt, move the
spring hook from position Bto posi
tion Athen insert the buckle into the
stalk.
2 nd
and 3 rd
row rear centre
seat belts
The 2 nd
row rear centre seat and the
rear bench seat centre seat have an
integrated threepoint inertia reel

YOUR 807 IN DETAIL101
To be effective, a seat belt
must be tightened as
close to the body as pos
sible.
If the seats are fitted with arm
rests, the lap section of the seat
belt must always pass under the
armrest.
Sitting with your back to the road
while the vehicle is moving is pro
hibited.
Depending on the nature and the
seriousness of the impact, the pre
tensioners may be triggered
before and independently of the air
bags.
In all cases, the air bag warning
light comes on.
Following a collision, have the
system checked by a PEUGEOT
dealer.
The system has been designed to
be fully operational for ten years.
For greater safety, have it checked
by a PEUGEOT dealer after this
period.
