THE KEYS
The keys allow you to switch on
the ignition and to independently
operate the front doors, the fuel
filler cap, the glove box, the pas
senger air bag disarming switch
and the mechanical child lock.
Central locking
From the driver’s or passenger
door, the keys allow you to lock,
deadlock or unlock the doors and
the tailgate and to fold back the
exterior mirrors.
If one of the doors or the boot is
open, it is impossible to operate
the central locking.
The remote control performs
the same functions at a
distance.The remote control key
Locking
Press button
Ato lock the vehicle.
Button Aalso locates the vehicle
and reinitialises the remote con- trol.
Deadlocking
Press button Ato deadlock the
vehicle and close the windows
automatically.
A second press on button Ain
the five seconds following dead
locking, changes deadlocking to
normal locking.
Deadlocking renders the
internal and external doorlocking controls inoperative. Do not leave anyoneinside the vehicle when it is deadlocked.
Unlocking/Ventilation

Recommendations for use
For an even air distribution, make sure that you do not block t he air inlet grille at the base of the windscreen, the air outlets
on the floor and the air extractor at the tailgate pillars.

THE REAR SEAT
Forwards/backwards
adjustment
Lift bar Aand slide the seat towards
the front or the rear.
Note: to make it easier to load the
vehicle through the tailgate, you can
pull on strap B and slide the seat for
wards. Rear parcel shelf position
Place the head restraints in the low
position.
Push control
Cupwards, from the
tailgate.
Tilt the seat back on the seat
cushion.
Folding the seat
Place the head restraints in the low
position.
Push control Cupwards, from the
tailgate.
Fold the seat back onto the seat
cushion.
Pull on strap Dto unlock the rear
anchorages.
Place the seat in the closed position.
When driving, attach the retaining
straps to the handles. Removing the seat
Fold down the seat.
Grasp the two bars
Eunderneath the
seat.
The front anchorages unlock.
Note: for removal and refitting, pass
the rear seat, in the "folded" position,
through the sliding side doors.
Refitting the seat
Check that there is nothing block
ing the runners which could pre
vet corrrect locking of the seat
anchorages.
Position the front anchorages at the
front stop of the runners.
Tilt the folded seat rearwards.
The rear anchorages then lock.
Unlock the seat back using control C
and pull it up using the strap.

Never use the adjustment
straps to remove, refit or
transport the seat.

The remote control
Version with single locking
Press button
Ato lock the vehicle.
This is confirmed by fixed lighting of
the direction indicators for approxi
mately two seconds. Vehicles fitted with deadlocking
Warning:
deadlocking renders the
internal and external door locking
controls inoperative.
Never leave anyone inside the vehi
cle when the vehicle is deadlocked.
Pressing buttonAdeadlocks the
vehicle. This is confirmed by fixed
lighting of the direction indicators for
approximately two seconds.
A second press on button Awithin
five seconds of deadlocking changes
this to single locking. This is con
firmed by fixed lighting of the direc
tion indicators for two seconds.
Note: the driver operates the dead
locking from inside the vehicle. On
starting the vehicle deadlocking
changes to single locking.
Note: presing button A, in addition to
locking or deadlocking, permits auto
matic closing of the windows and the
sunroof. However, the sunroof stops
in a partially open posiition. Unlocking
/Ventilation
Press button B to unlock the vehicle.
This is confirmed by rapid flashing of
the direction indicators.
A second press on button Awithin
five seconds of deadlocking opens
the windows.
Note : if the vehicle is locked and
unlocking is activated inadvertently,
unless the doors are opened within
30 seconds, the vehicle will lock
automatically.
Opening/Closing the electric
sliding side doors
A long press on button Copens or
closes the rear right door.
A long press on button Dopens or
closes the rear left door.
Note : this press unlocks the vehicle
before opening the corresponding
door.
Folding/opening out the key
To tuck away the key blade, press
button E, then fold it down into the
remote control module.
To open out the key, press button E.

THE ALARM
This provides two types of protection:
– exterior protection: it sounds if adoor, the tailgate, the bonnet or a
sunroof is opened.
– interior protection: it sounds if the volume inside the passenger com
partment changes (breaking of a
window or a movement inside the
vehicle).
Setting the alarm  Switch off the ignition and get out
of the vehicle.
 Set the alarm within five minutes
of getting out of the vehicle, by
locking or deadlocking using the
remote control (the red indicator
light, located in the centre of the
fascia and visible from the out
side, flashes once per second). Note:
if you wish to lock your vehicle
without setting the alarm, use the
door lock.
When the alarm is triggered, the
siren sounds and the direction indi
cator lights flash for thirty seconds.
After triggering, the alarm remains
set.
Warning: if the alarm has been trig
gered ten times in succession, on
the eleventh time it becomes inac
tive.
Note: if the red warning light, located
in the centre of the fascia, flashes
rapidly, the alarm has been triggered
while you were away from your vehi
cle. To stop it flashing, insert the
remote control key and switch on the
ignition.
Disarming
Unlock the vehicle with the remote
control key (the red indicator light,
located in the centre of the fascia,
goes out).
To set the alarm with exterior
protection only
If, while you are away from the vehi
cle, you wish to leave a window
partially open or a pet inside the
vehicle, you should choose exterior
protection only.
 Close the sunroofs, 
Switch off the ignition,
 In the next ten seconds, press
button A, located on the lefthand
side of the fascia, until the red
indicator light is on continuously,
 Get out of the vehicle,
 Within the next five minutes, set
the alarm by locking or deadlock
ing using the remote control (the
red indicator light, located in the
centre of the fascia, flashes once
a second).
Note: when the alarm is set but the
remote control does not operate:
 Unlock the doors with the key and
open the door. The alarm is
triggered.
 Switch on the ignition in the next
ten seconds. The alarm is dis
armed.
Incorrect operation
When the ignition is switched on, if
the red indicator light, located in the
centre of the fascia, comes on for ten
seconds, there is a fault in the siren
connection.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer to have
the system checked.
Do not make any modifi
cations to the alarm sys
tem as this could cause
faults.

multi–function display.
"Door open" alert
With the engine running or the vehicle
moving, a diagram accompanied by
an audible signal, locating the door
on the multi–function display, warns
you that a door is not properly closed.

This enables the tailgate to be
unlocked in the event of a central
locking fault.  Fold back a 2 nd
row rear seat,
 Fold back a 3 rd
row rear seat or
the bench seat to gain access to
the lock from inside the boot,
 Insert a small screwdriver into
hole Ain the lock and push it
towards the left to unlock the
tailgate .
TAILGATE
Simultaneous locking or unlock
ing of the tailgate and the doors
The tailgate is locked or unlocked by
the remote control or the driver's
door or passenger door lock.
To open, operate the handle
Aand
lift the tailgate.
Note: The tailgate locks automatical
ly when the vehicle is being driven at
more than 6 mph (10 km/h) and
unlocks when one of the doors is
opened.
"Tailgate open" warning
When the engine is running or the
vehicle is being driven, you are
warned if the tailgate is not closed
correctly by a diagram on the
multi–function display, accompanied
by an audible signal. Partially opening rear
windows
To partially open the rear windows,
tilt the lever
Aand push it fully to
lock the windows in the open posi
tion.

REAR INTERIOR LAYOUT
1. Access handle

Open the covers of the upper
fastenings at the 3rd row.
Install the ends of the metal bar
in these fastenings.
Secure the two tray strap hooks
in the stowing rings on the floor.
Pull the two straps taut.
Secure the two hooks on the
elastic parts of the tray in these
rings.
Note: the rings are located
directly below the corresponding

Fold the net in two.
Secure the two centre hooks in
the stowing rings on the floor.
Secure the net's remaining four
hooks on the tailgate pillars.

12. Tonneau To install it :
– position one end of the tonneau roller in the 2nd row, – compress the opposite end of
the roller and position it,
– release it to allow it to engage,
– unroll the tonneau as far as the rear shelf,
– secure the two hooks under the rear shelf,
To remove it:
– remove the tonneau hooks under the rear shelf,
– return the tonneau into its roller,
– compress it and remove it from its support at the 2nd row.
13. Rear shelf with umbrella holder
To remove the shelf:
– pull it rearward
– lift it slightly, then remove it
There are several options for
storing it:
– either hooked onto the ton neau
– or behind the seats or the rear bench seat

CHANGING A WHEEL
Parking the vehicle
 If possible, park the vehicle on
level, stable and nonslippery
ground.
 Apply the handbrake, switch off
the ignition and engage first or
reverse gear (position Pfor the
automatic gearbox) .
Access to the spare wheel  Open the tailgate.
 Pull and turn the towing eye to
unlock the lifting tool and access
the bolt.
 Unscrew the bolt fully, using the
wheelbrace 1to unwind the lifting
tool cable.
 Detach the spare wheel through
the rear of the vehicle.
 Take out the hinged hook via the
wheel shaft to release it. Tools
The following tools are located in the
engine compartment
1
Wheelbrace.
2 Jack
3 Removable towing eye.
4 Alloy wheel embellisher remover
Removing the wheel  Place a chock 3if possible under
the wheel diagonally opposite to
the one to be changed.
 Remove the trim, using the wheel
brace 1, pulling at the valve pas
sage hole. 
Loosen the wheel bolts (for vehi
cles fitted with alloy wheels,
remove the wheel embellisher 4).
 Remove the cover from the jack
suport holder.
 Detach the jack fixing strap and
take it out from the bottom of the
jack support holder.
 Place the jack 2in contact with
one of the four locating points A
on the subframe (the one which
is closest to the wheel to be
changed).
 Extend the jack 2until its base is
in contact with the ground. Ensure
that the centre line of the base of
the jack is straight above the
locating point A.
 Raise the vehicle.
 Unscrew the bolts and remove the
wheel.
