When using an automatic carwash, switch off the ignition orcheck that the wiper control is notin the automatic position. In winter it is advisable to wait for the windscreen to completelyclear of ice before operating theautomatic wipe.
In winter, in the presence of a considerable amountof snow or ice, switch on
the rear screen demister.Once de-icing is com-
plete, remove the snow or icewhich has accumulated on the
rear wiper blade. You can nowoperate the rear windscreen
wiper.

Always remove the igni- tion key on leaving thevehicle, even for a shorttime.
In the event of contact duringoperation of the windows, youmust reverse the movement of the
window.
To do this, press the switch con- cerned. When the driver operatesthe passenger electric wndowswitches, he must ensure that noone is preventing correct closingof the windows. The driver must ensure that the passengers use the electric win-
dows correctly. Be aware of children when operat- ing the windows.
