B,
If the two "Air bag fault" and "Passenger air bag disarmed" warning
lights come on permanently, do not install a rearward facing child seat
and consult a PEUGEOT dealer.

)
For the front, side* and curtain* air bags to be fully effective, observe the following safety rules:
¥ Wear a correctly adjusted seat belt.
¥ Sit in a normal upright position.
¥ Do not leave anything between the occupants of the front seats and the air bags (a child, pet, object).
This could hamper the operation of the air bags or injure the occupants.
¥ All work on the air bag system is strictly forbidden unless it is carried out by qualified personnel of the PEUGEOT network.
¥ After an accident or if the vehicle has been stolen or broken into, have the air bag systems checked.
¥ The air bag systems have been designed to be fully operational for 10 years after the vehicle has been registered. For improved safety, have them checked by a PEUGEOT dealer within 10 years of purchase of the vehicle.
Front air bags
¥ Do not drive holding the steering wheel by its spokes or resting your hands on the centre part of the wheel.
¥ Passengers must not place their feet on the fascia.
¥ Smoke as little as possible; deployment of the air bags can cause burns or the risk of injury from a cigarette or pipe.
¥ Never remove or pierce the steering wheel or hit it violently.
Side air bags*
¥ Only put approved covers on the front seats. Contact your PEUGEOT dealer.
¥ Do not fix or glue anything to the front seat backs. This could cause injury to the chest or arms when the side air bag inflates.
¥ Do not sit with the upper part of the body any nearer to the door than necessary.
Curtain air bags*
¥ Do not fix or glue anything to the pillars or the roof. This could cause injury to the head when the curtain air bag inflates.
¥ Do not remove the bolts from the grab handles installed on the roof, they play a part in securing the curtain air bags.
* According to destination.

All repairs and changing of tyres on a wheel fittedwith this system must be carried out by a
PEUGEOT dealer.
The tyre under-inflation detec-tion system is a driving aidwhich does not take the placeof vigilance or the responsibility
of the driver. This system does not remove the need to have the tyre pressurechecked regularly (including thespare wheel), to ensure that thedynamic performance of the vehicleremains at its best and to avoidpremature wear of the tyres, inparticular in the case of arduousdriving (heavy load, high speed). The system may temporarily be disturbed by radio broadcasts ona frequency close to it.

For your safety, alwayschange the wheel:
Ð on level, stable, non-slippery ground,
Ð with the handbrake on and the ignition switched off,
Ð with first or reverse gear engaged (position Pfor the
automatic gearbox),
Ð with the vehicle chocked. Never go underneath a vehicle that is supported only by a jack(use a ramp). After changing the wheel:
Ð have the tightening of the bolts and the tyre pressure checked by a PEUGEOT dealer as soonas possible.
Ð have the punctured wheel repaired and refit it to the vehicleas soon as possible.
Ð ask a PEUGEOT dealer to check that the spare wheel is fitted
correctly.
