PRACTICAL INFORMATION
For your safety, always
change the wheel:
- on level, stable, non-slippery ground,
- with the handbrake on and the ignition switched off,
- with irst or reverse gear engaged (position P for the
automatic gearbox),
- with the vehicle chocked.
Never go underneath a vehicle
that is supported only by a jack
(use a ramp).
Never use a screwdriver in
place of the wheelbrace to un-
wind or wind the winch cable. It is essential that the punctured
wheel is put back under the rear
loor.
Only it a wheel, tyre and rim,
which conforms to the manu-
facturer's recommendations on
the winch.
After changing the wheel:
- have the tightening of the bolts
and the tyre pressure checked
by a PEUGEOT dealer as soon
as possible.
- have the punctured wheel re- paired and reit it to the vehicle
as soon as possible.
- ask a PEUGEOT dealer to check that the spare wheel is
itted correctly.
Fitting a wheel
F
Position the wheel using the cen-
tralising tool, itted on the hub.
F Tighten the bolts by hand.
F Partly tighten the bolts using the
wheelbrace 1.
F Fold the jack 2 completely and
remove it.
F Fully tighten the bolts using the
wheelbrace 1.
F Replace the wheel trim, starting
by placing the wheel trim notch
opposite the valve, and press it on
using the palm of the hand.
F Replace the wheel under the ve-
hicle, with the valve towards the
top , in line with the illustration.
F Reit the wheel by winding up the
winch cable using the wheelbrace 1.
F Position the wheel lat against
the rear loor by tightening the
winch. Check that the wheel is
horizontal and cannot move.
F Close the lap using the lug to
secure the winch.
F Put the tools in the engine com-
partment.

CHANGING A BULB
Front lights
Note: handle the bulbs with a dry
cloth.
1 - Dipped beam headlamps: H7-55 W or xenon bulb.
2 - Main beam headlamps:
H7-55 W or xenon bulb.
WARNING: RISK OF ELECTROCUTION
Xenon bulbs must be changed by a PEUGEOT dealer.
3 - Fog lamps: H1-55 W.
Note: make access on the right-hand
side easier by removing the fuse box
cover.
F Turn the protective cover corre-
sponding to the faulty bulb a quar-
ter of a turn and remove it.
F Disconnect the connector.
F Press the end of the securing clip
to free it. Change the bulb.
When itting the new bulb, ensure
that the direction notches are posi-
tioned correctly and the securing clip
is ixed properly.
F Reconnect the connector.
F Reit the protective cover, then
turn it a quarter of a turn to the
right.
The headlamps are itted with poly-
carbonate glass with a protective
coating. Do not clean them with a
dry or abrasive cloth, nor with a
detergent or solvent product. Use
a sponge and soapy water. 4
- Side lights: W 5 W.
F Push the light from the inside to-
wards the outside of the bumper.
F Pull the light forwards.
F Turn the bulb holder a quarter turn
to the left and remove it.
F Turn the bulb a quarter turn to the
left, remove it and change it.
When reitting, engage the light
towards the outside and move it to-
wards the inside of the bumper.
5 - Direction indicators: PY 21 W (amber).
F Turn the bulb holder a quarter of a
turn to the left and remove it.
F Change the bulb.
Note: In certain climatic conditions
(low temperature, humidity), con-
densation inside the headlamp
glass is normal ; it disappears a few
minutes after the lights are switched
on.

Direction indicator repeaters:
WY 5 W (amber).
F Push the repeater rearwards and
release it from the mirror.
F Hold the connector and turn the
bulb holder a quarter turn to the
left.
F Turn the bulb a quarter turn to the
left, remove it and change it.
When reitting, engage the repeater
towards the rear and move it towards
the front of the mirror.
Amber coloured bulbs
(direction indicators and
side repeaters), must
be changed for bulbs of
identical speciication and
colour. When reitting:
F
take care to position the bulb cor-
rectly and press on it to engage it,
F take care to position the bulb
holder correctly and press on it to
engage it,
F take care to position and secure
the light correctly.
Number plate lights: W 5 W.
F Remove the lens.
F Change the faulty bulb. Rear lights
1 - Direction indicators: PY 21 W
(amber).
2 - Brake/side lights: P 21/5 W.
3 - Reversing lights: P 21 W.
4 - Fog lamps: P 21 W.
These 4 bulbs are changed from
inside the vehicle:
F open the tailgate,
F remove the air extraction grille on
the side concerned,
F unclip the light harness,
F unscrew the two interior nuts and
remove the light,
F unscrew the bulb holder con-
cerned an eighth turn to the left
and remove it,
F unscrew the faulty bulb
an eighth
turn to the left and change it. Third brake light:
5 W 5 W bulbs.
F Remove the tailgate upper trim by
unclipping it on either side.
F Squeeze the two tabs 1 to release
the bulb holder.
F Change the faulty bulb.
F When reitting, ensure that the tail-
gate upper trim has been put back
in place correctly.
Note: when two or more bulbs
are faulty, you must replace them
immediately.

CHANGING A FUSE
The fuse boxes are located in the
instrument panel lower glove box
(driver’s side), in the battery com-
partment (driver’s side loor) and in
the engine compartment.
The spare fuses and special pliers A
are ixed to the inside of the lid of the
instrument panel fuse box.
Removing and changing a
fuse
Before changing a fuse you must
establish the cause of the fault and
have it corrected. The fuse numbers
are indicated on the fuse box.
F Use the special pliers A.
Always change a faulty fuse for
one of the same rating.

F Unscrew the bolt a quarter of a
turn with a coin, then pull the han-
dle to open the cover and access
the fuses.

Battery compartment fuses
Fuse box
To access the fuse box in the battery
compartment (in the loor in front of
the passenger seat):
F unclip the cover.
Carefully close the cover when
you have inished.

Before installing other electri-
cal equipment or accessories on
your vehicle, contact a PEUGEOT
dealer.
PEUGEOT will not accept re-
sponsibility for the cost incurred in
repairing your vehicle or for rectify-
ing the malfunctions resulting from
the installation of accessories not
supplied and not recommended
by PEUGEOT and not installed in
accordance with its instructions,
in particular where the equipment
in question consumes more than
10 milliamperes.Engine compartment fuses
Fuse box
To access the fuses located in the
engine compartment (to the left of
the coolant reservoir):
F unclip the cover.
Carefully close the cover when
you have inished.
