YOUR 807 IN DETAIL
The menu ''Guidance options''
provides access to the following
functions:
- changing of the route calculation criteria,
- voice synthesis adjustment of guid- ance messages,
- description of the information re- lating to the navigation CD-Rom,
- management of the addresses stored in the directory.
Guidance options
The last criterion used is displayed.
Select a criterion from the list, then
validate by pressing the dial.
When the criterion of your choice
has been selected, select the "OK"
function then conirm by pressing
the dial.
Adjusting the voice synthesiser
Select the type of voice "male" or
"female" , after inserting the conigu-
ration CD-Rom.
Adjust the volume of the voice
synthesis by turning the dial, then
validate by pressing the dial.
Note: the volume can also be
adjusted during a message, using
the audio/telephone button or the
steering wheel control.
Calculation criteria Management of the directory
This function enables you to rename
an address stored in the directory.
Select the description correspond-
ing to the stored address to be
changed.
Select the "Rename" function, then
conirm by pressing the dial.
Select the "OK" function, then con-
irm by pressing the dial to record the
changes made.
Stopping / Resuming guidance
• ฀ "Stop guidance"
During guidance, select this function
then validate.
• ฀ "Resume guidance"
In the absence of guidance, select
this function then validate to activate
guidance to the last destination pro-
grammed.
Note: after re-starting the engine,
a screen appears enabling you to
resume the guidance activated be-
fore the ignition was switched off.

The contextual menu associated with
the "Navigation - Guidance" applica-
tion appears as a superimposed display,
when this is the application currently in
use in the main screen window.
This menu is limited to the following
functions:
- changing of the initial route (enter- ing of a diversion)*,
- switching to "Selection - Movement on map" mode**,
- storing of the current location (postal address if available or, if it
is not, the GPS co-ordinates),
- changing of the route calculation criteria,
- stopping or resuming of guidance (dis- playing of the message which changes
depending on the previous status),
- displaying of the map, full screen or reduced size on the right (displaying
of the message which varies de-
pending on the previous status)**.
"Navigation - Guidance"
contextual menu TMC (Trafic Message Channel)
RDS Trafic Information
This function enables you to re-
ceive messages regarding the trafic
conditions (accidents, trafic jams,
weather, ...).
They may appear temporarily as a
superimposed display or be read by
the voice synthesiser, if it is active.Select the
"TMC Trafic Informa-
tion" function on the "Telematics"
menu, you can choose:
- "Consult the messages" to display the list of TMC messages avail-
able,
- "Filter the TMC information" to se- lect one or more types of message
and initialise the TMC station,
- "Voice synthesiser" to listen to the TMC messages received,
- "Activate/Deactivate trafic infor- mation" to display or not display
the TMC messages received.
Initialising the TMC station
To initialise this function, you must
select an FM station which can trans-
mit these messages.
Select the "Choice of the TMC
station" function from the "Trafic
Information TMC" menu, one of
the following will then appear on the
screen:
- the name of the station that you are currently listening to,
- "No TMC station" if no station has been selected or if the station
selected does not transmit TMC
messages,
- "Search in progress" if you have activated the search for the next
station.
You can read the messages trans-
mitted by the TMC station, while
listening to another station**.
In map mode
**, special TMC sym-
bols are displayed depending on the
type of information.

Filtering the TMC messages
To ilter these messages, select the
"Filter the TMC information" func-
tion from the "Trafic Information
TMC" menu, you then obtain:
- "Filter in relation to the route" to obtain the messages relating to the
current guidance outline,
- "Filter by event" to display the mes- sages speciic only to accidents, or
trafic jams, or...,
- "Geographical ilter" to take into ac- count the messages within a radius
of action to be deined around the
vehicle and/or a location.
You can ilter these messages using
one or more ilters simultaneously. General notes on the "Map"
application**
The
"Map" application has two dis-
play modes:
- "Vehicle following on map"
mode, representing active guid-
ance on the map on the right and
a large-scale view of the next inter-
section on the left,
- "Selection-Movement on map"
mode, representing consultation
of the map at full screen size or
reduced size on the right with a
compass on the left.
To switch from one mode to the other,
press the dial on the right briely, then
select the "Move the map" or "Exit
the map mode" function.
In "Selection-movement on map"
mode, you can see symbols, repre-
senting the various types of services
which exist, sorted by category:
- "Administration and safety" symbol on a grey background,
- "Hotels, bars and restaurants" symbol on a yellow background,
- "Other businesses" symbol on a purple background,
- "Culture, tourism and entertainment" symbol on a white background,
- "Sports centres and open air centres" symbol on a green back-
ground,
- "Transporation and automobiles" symbol on a blue background. A
"Zoom" function enables you to
enlarge the map, in accordance with
the thirteen preset levels relating to
the following scales:
- 50 m/cm, 100 m/cm, 150 m/cm, 200 m/cm, 500 m/cm,
- 1 km/cm, 2 km/cm, 5 km/cm,
- 10 km/cm, 20 km/cm, 50 km/cm,
- 100 km/cm, 200 km/cm.
This is achieved by turning the dial.
This mode permits:
- displaying of the vehicle on the map with the route proposed by
the navigation if the guidance is
active,
- zooming in on the map in accord- ance with the thirteen preset levels,
- displaying of the "Navigation -
Guidance" contextual menu.

- selection of any point on the map to obtain guidance towards it or to
obtain information about it (postal
address if available or, if it is not,
GPS co-ordinates),
- movement on the map by means of the four directional arrows, rep-
resenting the four cardinal points
(North, East, South, West),
- zooming in on the map in accord- ance with the thirteen preset levels,
- displaying of the "Map" contextual
menu.
"Selection - Movement on map"
mode
From the general menu , the main
"Map" menu offers various options
for guidance management:
- switching to "Selection - Movement on map" mode,
- direction of the map towards the North or in the direction of the vehicle,
- recentering of the map around the vehicle,
- opening of the services selection window visible on the map, such
as hotels, service stations, etc.
- displaying of the window for entering the description for recording the
current position of the vehicle in a
directory ile.
Map
The contextual menu associated with
the "Map" application and with the
"Selection - Movement on map"
mode appears as a superimposed
display, when these are in use in the
main screen window.
This menu is limited to the following
functions:
- displaying of the information on the location selected on the map,
- selection of a location on the map as a destination,
- storing of the location selected (postal address if available or, if it
is not, GPS co-ordinates, so that
they can be recorded in a directory
ile),
- switching to "Vehicle following on map" mode.

1 - Windscreen de-icing or demisting
vents

Note: The 2nd row side vents are
itted with knobs for adjustment of the
air low to the rear seats. Additional
blowers provide improved diffusion
of the air to the 2nd and 3rd row pas-
sengers.
Recommendations for use
For an even air distribution, make
sure that you do not block the air inlet
grille at the base of the windscreen,
the air outlets on the loor and the air
extractor at the tailgate pillars.

AUTOMATIC AIR CONDITIONING WITH SEPARATE
ADJUSTMENTS
Located on the centre console, the control panel is to the right of the gear lever.The driver and front passenger can
each adjust the air
temperature to
suit their requirements.
They can also activate or disarm the
rear ventilation adjustment controls.
Do not cover the passenger com-
partment temperature sensor,
located on the right upright of the
centre console. It helps to regulate
the air conditioning.
The required value is dis-
played (from 14 to 28; comfort
value = 21; maximum driver/
passenger difference = 5).
F Press the corresponding "+" and
"-" buttons to change it. F
Pressing this button
activates the automatic
operation of the air condi-
tioning.
The symbol and the indicator light 1
are displayed.
F Pressing this button again switches
the air conditioning off.
The symbol and the indicator light 1
go out.

F Turn the adjument control
6 respectively to the right
or to the left to increase or
reduce the low of air.
The air low symbol 6 is illed in
according to the required value.
6 - Adjustment of the air low
To make the setting on the passenger
side the same as that on the driver's
side:
- air conditioning with "MONO" button,
press button A.
- air conditioning with "REAR" button, press button 2 or 3 for more than
two seconds.
F Pressing the correspond-
ing button(s) 4 directs the
low of air to:
- the windscreen,
- the side vents and the central vents,
- the side vents, the central vents and the feet,
- the windscreen and the feet,
- the feet.
The indicator light corresponding to
the required direction 4 comes on.
4 - Adjustment of the air
distribution
5 - Adjustment of the rear ventilation
To enable the rear passengers to
adjust the rear ventilation, press
button B. The rear ventilation symbol
5 is dis-
played.
The air low adjustment controls
5 for the 2nd row side vents are
operational.
To disarm the rear ventilation con-
trols, press button B again.
The rear ventilation symbol 5 goes
out.
F Press this button to recir-
culate the interior air.
The air recirculation symbol and indi-
cator light 7 are displayed.
The recirculation isolates the pas-
senger compartment from outside
smells and smoke.
Avoid prolonged operation in inte-
rior air recirculation mode (risk of
condensation and deterioration of
the air quality).
F Pressing this button again returns the sys-
tem to automatic control of the air intake.
7 - Air recirculation F
Press button 8, with the
engine running, to demist
the rear screen and the
mirrors.
The demisting indicator light 8 comes
on.
It switches off automatically after
approximately twelve minutes.
F Pressing the button again switch-
es it on again. If the engine is
switched off before the twelve
minutes have elapsed, demisting
will resume when the engine is
switched on again.
Note: it is possible to switch off the
demisting before it is switched off
automatically by pressing this button
again.
8 - Demisting the rear screen
This is the normal air con-
ditioning system operating
mode.F Press the "AUTO" button.
The system adjusts automatically to
the required value by switching on
the air conditioning.
It also controls the air distribution,
low and intake so that there is suf-
icient air circulation in the passenger
compartment.
The "AUTO" symbol is displayed.

The comfort programme may
prove inadequate to demist
or de-ice the windows quickly
(humidity, many passengers,
ice).
F In this situation, select the visibility
programme.
The visibility programme indicator
light 10 comes on.
It manages the air conditioning,
air low, the rear screen demisting
and distributes the ventilation to the
windscreen and side windows as
effectively as possible.
It switches off the air recirculation.
Note: for your comfort, between two
starting operations the settings are
retained if the temperature of the
passenger compartment has not
varied a great deal. If it has, opera-
tion will resume in automatic mode.
11 - Switching the system off
F Turn the air low adjustment
control 6 to the left until the display
is switched off.
This action switches off all of the
system's functions, with the exception
of the rear screen demisting.
F Turning the control 6 again, or
pressing button 10 or the "AUTO"
button again, switches the system
on again with the same settings as
before.
10 - Visibility programme Important precaution
Operate the air conditioning system
for 5 to 10 minutes, once or twice a
month, to keep it in perfect working
order.
If the system does not produce cold
air, do not use it and contact your
PEUGEOT dealer.
Note: the condensation created by
the air conditioning system causes a
low of water under the vehicle when
stationary, which is perfectly normal.
Flashing of the points in
the temperature setting
values indicates that there
is a malfunction of the air
conditioning.
Contact your PEUGEOT dealer.

Front seats with manual
adjustment
1 - Forwards/backwards adjustment
Lift the bar and slide the seat for-
wards or backwards.
2 - Seat back angle adjustment
Pull the lever upwards.
3 - Driver's seat height adjustment
Manoeuvre the handle upwards or
downwards until the desired position
is reached.
4 - Driver's seat lumbar adjustment
Move the lever up or down to obtain
the required position.
5 - Head restraint height and angle adjustment
To raise or lower the restraint, pull it
forwards, then slide it.
The adjustment is correct
when the upper edge of the
head restraint is level with the
top of the head.
