"ISOFIX" MOUNTINGS
The two rear side seats of your vehi-
cle are itted with ISOFIX mountings .
These are two rings located between
the seat back and the seat cushion.
The ISOFIX child seats are itted with
two locks which are secured easily on
these rings.
Fitting a child seat in a vehicle incor-
rectly compromises the child's pro-
tection in the event of a collision.
This ISOFIX mounting system guar-
antees reliable, safe and fast itting of
the child seat in your vehicle. The ISOFIX child seat approved
for PEUGEOT vehicles and sold by
PEUGEOT dealers is the
ISOFIX
KIDDY* child seat.
It can be itted in the "rear-facing"
position from birth to 13 kg and in the
"forwards-facing" position from 9 kg
to 18 kg.
In the "forwards facing" position, it is
imperative that the front passenger
seat is in the intermediate longitudi-
nal position, seat back upright.
In the "rear-facing" position, the front
passenger seat must be adjusted so
that the body of the child seat is in con-
tact with the back of the vehicle's seat.
The ISOFIX KIDDY child seat must
not be installed on the 3rd row rear
side seats. This child seat can also be used on
seats which are not itted with ISOFIX
mountings.
In this case, it is compul-
sory to secure it to the vehicle's seat
using the three-point seat belt.
In the front, in the "rear-facing" posi-
tion, the front passenger seat must
be moved as far forward as possible
so that the body of the child seat is
in contact with, or is as close as pos-
sible to, the fascia.
When the ISOFIX KIDDY child seat
is itted in the "rear facing" posi-
tion on the front passenger seat,
it is imperative that the passenger
air bag is diarmed.
Follow the instructions for itting
the child seat given in the seat man-
ufacturer's instruction booklet.
For information regarding the ISOFIX
child seats approved for your vehicle,
contact your PEUGEOT dealer.
* You can only it ISOFIX child seats approved by PEUGEOT on your
vehicle's ISOFIX mountings.

For optimum installation of a forwards
facing child seat, check that the back
of the child seat is resting against the
back of the vehicle's seat correctly
and that the head restraint does not
cause any discomfort.
If it is necessary to remove the
head restraint, as in the case of the
"RECARO Start", "KLIPPAN Optima"
and "KIDDY Life" child seats (over
6 years of age), ensure that the head
restraint is securely stored or at-
tached so that it cannot act as a pro-
jectile in the event of sharp braking.
Never leave one or more
children alone and unsu-
pervised in a vehicle.
Never leave a child or an
animal in a vehicle which
is exposed to the sun and has the
windows closed.
To protect your young children from
the sun, it blinds on the rear win-
dows.
Never leave the keys within reach
of children inside the vehicle.
Observe strictly the recommenda-
tions for assembling and securing
the child seat as shown in the
child seat instructions.
To prevent the doors from opening
accidentally, use the child lock*.
Also, do not open the rear windows
more than a third*.
YOUR 807 IN DETAIL
Disarm the passenger air bag
when installing a "rearwards
facing" child seat on the front
passenger seat. Otherwise, the
child would risk being seriously
injured or killed were the air bag
to inlate.
For the safety of young children (from
9 to 18 kg), PEUGEOT recommends
use of the restraining cushion.
L6
- "Klippan Optima": installed in the
rear using a three-point seat belt.
From the age of 6 years (approxi-
mately 22 kg), the booster is used on
its own.

Pre-tensioning and
force-limiting seat belts

has been improved by the introduction
of pre-tensioning and force-limiting seat
belts. Depending on the seriousness of
the impact, the pre-tensioning system
instantly tightens the seat belts irmly
against the body of the occupant.
The pre-tensioning seat belts are
armed when the ignition is on.
The force-limiting device reduces the
pressure of the seat belt against the
occupant's body in the event of an
accident.
3rd row rear side seat belts
The 3rd row rear side seats are itted
with two seat belts which are both
three-point inertia reel belts with

has/have not fastened his/their seat
belt, this warning light comes on
when the engine is running, then at a
speed in excess of 15 mph (25 km/h),
accompanied by an audible signal
(for approximately 90 seconds) and
