possible, always change
a wheel:
- on level, stable, non-slippery ground,
- with the handbrake on and the igni- tion switched off,
- with irst or reverse gear engaged (position P for the automatic gear-
box),
- with the vehicle chocked.
Never go underneath a vehicle
that is supported only by a jack
(use a ramp).
Never use a screwdriver in place
of the wheelbrace to unwind or
wind the winch cable. It is essential that the punctured
wheel is put back under the rear
loor.
Only it a wheel, tyre and rim
which conforms to the manufac-

winch.
After changing the wheel:
- have the tightening of the bolts and
the tyre pressure checked by a
PEUGEOT dealer as soon as pos-
sible,
- have the punctured wheel repaired and reit it to the vehicle as soon as
possible,
- ask a PEUGEOT dealer to check that the spare wheel is itted
correctly.

F Replace the wheel under the ve-
hicle, with the valve towards the
top , in line with the illustration.
F
Reit the wheel by winding up the
winch cable using the wheelbrace 1.
F Position the wheel lat against
the rear loor by tightening the
