PEUGEOT’s clean HDi Diesel engines
(Common Rail diesel direct injection)
have the characteristic of offering low
consumption and minimising emissions of
CO 2. In addition to this contribution, these
engines provide a highly acclaimed level of
driving pleasure.
As the driver, you also can contribute to
protecting the environment by following
certain rules:
- adopt a preventive style of driving, without frequent and sharp acceleration. Refer to
the starting and stopping "good practice"
advice in this handbook at the end of
chapter 2, - observe the service intervals; we
recommend that services are carried out by
a PEUGEOT dealer authorised to collect
used batteries and fluids,
- in order to preserve the reliability of the engine and emission control system, do not
use engine oil additives.
