ELECTRIC WINDOWS
1 - Driver ’s electric window control
2 - Passenger electric window control
There are two operating modes:
Manual mode
Press or pull the control, without passing the
point of resistance. The window stops when
you release the control.
Automatic mode
Press or pull the control, beyond the point
of resistance. The window opens or closes
fully when the control is released. Pressing
the control again stops the movement of the
window. The electrical functions of the electric
windows are deactivated:
- approximately 45 seconds after the ignition
is switched off,
- after one of the front doors is opened, if the ignition is off.
Safety auto-reverse
If your vehicle is fitted with the safety auto-
reverse function, when the window rises and
meets and obstacle, it stops and partially
lowers.
In the event of unwanted opening of the
window on closing, press the control until
the window is fully open. Within the next
4 seconds, pull the control until the window
is fully closed.
The safety auto-reverse does not operate
during these operations. Reinitialisation
Following reconnection of the battery,
the safety auto-reverse function must be
reinitialised.
Lower the window fully, then raise it, it will
rise in steps of a few centimetres each time
the control is pressed. Repeat the operation
until the window is fully closed.
Continue to press the control for at least one
second after the window closed position has
been reached.
The safety auto-reverse does not operate
during these operations.
Good practice
If the electric windows meet an obstacle
during operation, you must reverse the
movement of the window. To do this, press
the control concerned.
When the driver operates the passenger
electric window controls, he must ensure
that no one is preventing correct closing of
the windows.
The driver must ensure that the passengers
use the electric windows correctly.
Be aware of children when operating the
windows.

The RD4 audio equipment is coded in such a way that
it will only operate in your vehicle. If it is to b e installed
in another vehicle, contact your PEUGEOT dealer for
configuration of the system.

The audio equipment function is shared by the
whole PEUGEOT range. On the EXPERT, the audio
equipment may only offer some of the functions
mentioned depending on the specification and the
characteristics specific to the country in which it is sold.

01 FIRST STEPS
On/Off and volume adjustment.

FMast and AM wavebands.

This displays the following information, via the RD 4 audio equipment
control pad:
- the time,
- the date,
- the exterior temperature (this flashes if there is a ri sk of ice),
- the audio source displays (radio, CD, ...),
- the accesses check (doors, boot, ...),
- the warning messages or information messages disp layed temporarily,
can be cleared by pressing the "ESC" button,
- the trip computer, RADIO: RDS search, REG mode. CD: introscan, random play, repeat.
VEHICLE CONFIGURATION: activation/deactivation of the equi
pment.
OPTIONS: equipment status diagnostics.
DISPLAY ADJUST: year, month, day, hour, minute,
12 or 24 hour mode.
LANGUAGES.
UNITS: temperature (°C or °F), fuel consumption (l/100, mpg or km/ l).

Press the SOURCE button several
times in succession and select the
radio.
Press the BAND/AST button to select
a waveband: FM1, FM2, FMast, AM.
Briefly press one of the buttons to
carry out an automatic search of the
radio stations. Press one of the buttons to carry out a
manual search of the radio stations.
Press one of the buttons on the
numeric keypad for more than
2 seconds to store the current station.
Press the LIST REFRESH button to
display the list of stations received
locally.
To update this list, press for more than
two seconds.

Insert circular compact discs only. Some anti-pirat ing
systems, on original discs or CDs copied using a
personal recorder, may cause faults which are no
reflection on the quality of the original player.
Insert a CD in the player, play begins automaticall y.
If the player already contains a disc,
press the SOURCE button several
times in succession and select CD.
Press one of the buttons to select a
track on the CD.
Press the LIST REFRESH button to
display the list of tracks on the CD.
Press and hold one of the buttons for
fast forwards or backwards play.

The services offered by the hands-free kit depend o
n the network, the
SIM card and the compatibility of the Bluetooth equ ipment used.
Consult your telephone’s manual and your operator t o find out which
services are available to you. A list of mobile tel ephones which offer
the best range of services is available from the ne twork. Contact a
PEUGEOT dealer.
MAKING A CALL
Press and hold the end of the steering wheel stalk to
access your directory.
To dial a number, use the keypad on your telephone.
For safety reasons and because they require prolong
ed attention
on the part of the driver, the operations for match ing of the
Bluetooth mobile telephone with the RD4 hands-free kit must be
carried out with the vehicle stationary and the ign ition on.
Activate the telephone’s Bluetooth function and
carry out a search of the Bluetooth accessories
present for the telephone.
Select the accessory which corresponds to the
name of the vehicle, a superimposed configuration
display appears on the multifunction display.
Enter the vehicle’s authentication code (=1234).
Depending on the telephone, you may be asked
to enter this code before the superimposed
configuration display appears. Select the YES tab on the display
using the buttons then confirm by
pressing OK.
RECEIVING A CALL
An incoming call is announced by a ring and a super imposed
display on the multifunction display.
Select the YES tab on the display
using the buttons and confirm by
pressing OK.

Each press of the button, located at the end of the
wipers stalk , permits displaying of the different trip
computer data in succession, depending on the displ ay.
- the "vehicle" tab with:
• the range, the current consumption and the distance
remaining to the destination,
- the "1" tab (route 1) with:
• the average speed, the average consumption and the distance
travelled calculated over route
"1" ,
- the "2" tab (route 2) with the
same characteristics for a second
route. A few definitions
Range:
Displays the distance which can be travelled with the remainin g fuel
detected in the tank, in relation to the average consumptio n over the last few miles
(kilometres).
This displayed value may vary significantly following a c hange in the vehicle
speed or the relief of the route.
When the range falls below 20 miles (30 km), dashes are displaye d. After filling with
at least 5 litres of fuel, the range is recalculated and is displayed when it exceeds
60 miles (100 km).
If, whilst driving, dashes are displayed continuously in place of digits, contact a
PEUGEOT dealer.
Current consumption: only calculated and displayed above 20 mph (30 km/h).
Average consumption: this is the average quantity of fuel consumed since the last
trip recorder zero reset.
Distance travelled: calculated since the last trip computer zero reset.
Distance remaining to the destination (display C only): calculated with reference
to the final destination, entered by the user. If guidance is activa ted, the navigation
system calculates it as a current value.
Average speed: this is the average speed calculated since the last trip compute r
zero reset (ignition on).

When the required route is displayed, press the end of the control for
