Ease of use and comfort

must only be carried out with the vehicle
stationary.
Mirrors
Door mirrors
As a safety measure, the mirrors should be adjusted to reduce the "blind spots".
The objects that you see in the mirrors are
in fact closer than they appear. Take this
into account in order to correctly judge the
distance of vehicles approaching from behind.
Manual adjustment
â–º Directly manouevre the mirror glass to adjust
the mirror concerned.
Electric adjustment



â–º Move control A to the right or to the left to
select the corresponding mirror.
â–º

Move control
B in any of the four directions
to adjust.

Return control A

to its central position.
Manual folding
The mirrors can be folded manually (parking
obstruction, narrow garage, etc.).

urn the mirror towards the vehicle.
Electric folding
Depending on equipment, the mirrors can be
folded electrically from the inside, with the
vehicle parked and the ignition on.

Lock the vehicle from the outside.
Electric unfolding

Demisting/de-icing
Depending on version, the demisting/
de-icing of the door mirrors works in
parallel with the demisting/de-icing of the rear
screen.

Interior rear view mirror
Equipped with an anti-dazzle system, which
darkens the mirror glass and reduces the
nuisance to the driver caused by the sun,
headlamps of other vehicles, etc.

Day/night position

"night" position.

Rear bench seat

Bench seat with folding cushions (giving access
to storage compartments) and split folding
backrests (2/3-1/3).
Rear head restraints

High position (use):
â–º Pull the head restraint fully up.
Low position (stowing; when the seats are not
in use):
â–º

Press the lug
A to release the head restraint
and push it down.
The rear head restraints can be removed.
Removing a head restraint
â–º Pull the head restraint fully up.
â–º Press the lug A to release the head restraint
and remove it completely.
â–º

Store the head restraint.
Refitting a head restraint
â–º Insert the head restraint rods into the guides
in the corresponding seat backrest.
â–º

Push the head restraint down as far as it will
go.
â–º


Press the lug
A to release the head restraint
and push it fully down.
Never drive with passengers seated at
the rear when the head restraints are
removed; the head restraints should be in
place and in the high position.
The head restraint for the centre seat
and those for the outer seats are not
interchangeable.
Folding the backrests
Manoeuvring the backrests should only
be done when the vehicle is stationary.
First steps:
â–º Lower the head restraints.
â–º

If necessary
, move the front seats forward.
â–º

Check
that no person or object might interfere
with the folding of the backrests (e.g.
clothing,
luggage).
â–º

Check that the seat belts are free, not
engaged in the buckles. Release them so that
the backrest can be moved.


â–º Pull the strap 1 firmly to release the backrest.
â–º Guide the backrest 2 down to the horizontal
position.
The maximum load distributed over the backrests is 100 kg. A heavier load could
damage the backrest frames.
Repositioning the backrests
First check that the outer seat belts are
lying vertically flat alongside the backrest
latching rings.


â–º Put the backrest 2 in the upright position and
push it firmly to latch it home.
â–º Check that the release strap 1 has correctly
returned to its position.
â–º Ensure that the outer seat belts were not
trapped during the operation.
Please note: an incorrectly latched
backrest compromises the safety of
passengers in the event of sudden braking or
an accident.
Tilting the seat cushions
Manoeuvring the seat cushions must
only be done with the vehicle stationary.
First steps:
â–º If necessary, move the front seats forward.

push it firmly to latch it home.

Check that the release strap 1

Tilting the seat cushions
Manoeuvring the seat cushions must
only be done with the vehicle stationary.
First steps:

If necessary
, move the front seats forward. â–º

Check that no person or object could interfere
with the tilting of the seat cushions (clothing,
luggage, etc.).
â–º

Check that the seat belts are free, not
engaged in the buckles.


â–º Take strap 1 out of the case (located under
the seat cushion) and pull it firmly to release the
seat cushion.
â–º

T
ilt the seat cushion 2 to the vertical position
(against the backrest).


â–º Attach hook 3 of strap 1 onto the head
restraint rod.
Under-seat storage boxes
Storage boxes are accessible under the
cushions of the rear bench seat.


â–º With the cushion raised, lift the carpet to
access the storage compartments and the tool
kit (depending on version).

Repositioning the seat
cushions
Before lowering the seat cushion to the
normal position, make sure that you take
the seat belt buckle and hold it during the
operation.


â–º Remove hook 3 from the head restraint rod.
â–º Guide seat cushion 2
to the horizontal
position and push it firmly to lock it.
â–º

Check that the release strap 1

has correctly
returned to its position, then store it in its case.
â–º

Check that the seat belt buckles did not slip
under the seat cushions during the manoeuvre.
Heating and Ventilation
Air intake
The air circulating in the passenger compartment
is filtered and originates either from the
exterior, via the grille located at the base of the
windscreen, or from the inside in air recirculation
mode.
Controls
The controls are grouped together on the centre
console panel.
Air distribution

1. Windscreen demisting/de-icing vents
2. Front side window demisting/de-icing vents
3. Adjustable and closable side air vents
4. Adjustable and closable central air vents
5. Air outlets to the front footwells
6.Air outlets to the rear footwells (depending on
version)
7. Adjustable and closable air vents, with blower
(depending on version)
Advice
Using the ventilation and air
conditioning system
â–º

T

o ensure that air is distributed evenly,
keep the external air intake grilles at the base
of the windscreen, the nozzles, the vents, the
air outlets and the air extractor in the boot
free from obstructions.
â–º

Do not cover the sunshine sensor located
on the dashboard; this sensor is used to
regulate the automatic air conditioning
system.
â–º


Operate the air conditioning system for at
least 5 to 10 minutes once or twice a month to
keep it in good working order

.
â–º

If the system does not produce cold air
,
switch it off and contact a PEUGEOT dealer
or a qualified workshop.
When towing a large load on a steep gradient
in high temperatures, switching off the air
conditioning increases the available engine
power, enhancing the towing capacity.
Avoid driving for too long with the ventilation off or with prolonged operation

deterioration of the air quality!
If the interior temperature is very high
after the vehicle has stood for a long
time in the sunshine, air the passenger
compartment for a few moments.
Put the air flow control at a setting high
enough to quickly change the air in the
passenger compartment.
Condensation created by the air
conditioning results in a discharge of
water underneath the vehicle. This is perfectly
normal.
Servicing the ventilation and air
conditioning system
â–º

Ensure that the passenger compartment
filter is in good condition and have the filter
elements replaced regularly

.
We recommend using a composite passenger
compartment filter. Its specific active additive
helps protect against polluting gases and bad
smells.
â–º

T

o ensure correct operation of the
air conditioning system, have it checked
according to the recommendations in the
Manufacturer’s service schedule.
Heating

Manual air conditioning
1. Temperature.
2. Air flow/System switch-off.
3. Air distribution.
4. Interior air recirculation.
5. Front demisting/de-icing on/off.
6. Demisting/de-icing of rear screen and door
mirrors on/off (depending on version).
7. Air conditioning on/off.
8. Maximum air conditioning.
The air conditioning system only operates with
the engine running.
Temperature
â–º Turn the thumbwheel 1 from "Blue" (cold)
to "Red" (hot) to adjust the temperature to your
requirements.
Air flow
â–º Turn the thumbwheel 2 to obtain a sufficient
air flow to ensure your comfort.
If the air flow control is in
the minimum position (system
deactivated), the temperature in the vehicle
will no longer be controlled. A slight flow of air
can still be felt, due to the forward movement
of the vehicle.
Air distribution
â–º Press one of the buttons 3 to direct the air
flow in turn towards:
–

windscreen, side windows and footwells,
–


central and side vents,
–

footwells,
–

central vents, side vents and footwells.
The air distribution can be adapted by combining
the corresponding buttons.
Air conditioning on/off
The air conditioning system is designed to
operate effectively in all seasons, with the
windows closed:

It lowers the temperature in summer
.
–

It increases the effectiveness of the demisting,
in winter

, above 3°C.

7 to activate/deactivate the air
conditioning system.

Air conditioning does not operate when the air flow is deactivated.
To obtain cool air more quickly, enable interior
air recirculation for a brief period. Then return
to the intake of exterior air.
Switching off the air conditioning may result in
some discomfort (humidity or misting).
Maximum air conditioning
The system automatically adjusts the
temperature setting to the lowest possible, the
air distribution towards the central and side air
vents, the air flow to maximum and activates
recirculation of interior air.

Press button
8 to activate/deactivate the
function (confirmed by the indicator lamp coming
on/going off).
Once the function is deactivated, the system
returns to the previous settings.
Dual-zone automatic air
conditioning
1. Temperature.
2. Air flow.
3. Air distribution.
4. Interior air recirculation.
5.Visibility programme.
6. Demisting/de-icing of rear screen and door
mirrors on/off (depending on version).
7. Air conditioning on/off.

The selected settings and the
temperature values are displayed in the
upper banner of the touch screen.
Temperature
The driver and front passenger can each set the
temperature to suit their preferences.
The value shown on the touch screen is a level
of comfort, not a temperature in Celsius or
Fahrenheit.

urn the thumbwheel 1 from "Blue" (cold)

â–º Press the buttons 2 to increase/decrease the
air flow.
The air flow symbol (a fan) appears. It is filled in
or emptied gradually, according to the value set.

the selected comfort level.
In cold weather with the engine cold, the
air flow is increased gradually until the
comfort setting has been reached, in order to
limit the delivery of cold air into the passenger
compartment.
On entering the vehicle, if the interior
temperature is much colder or warmer than
the comfort setting requested, there is no
need to alter the value displayed to more
quickly reach the required level of comfort.
The system automatically corrects the
temperature difference as quickly as possible.
Manual mode
It is possible to make a different choice from that
offered by the system by changing a setting.
The other functions will still be automatically
managed.
The indicator lamp in the " AUTO” button goes
out if you change a setting.
Visibility programme
â–º Press the "visibility " button 5 to demist or
de-ice the windscreen and side windows more
quickly.

The comfort setting for the passenger side
can be indexed to the driver's comfort setting
(mono-zone).

Press the corresponding button 11 to
activate/deactivate the function.
The indicator lamp in the button comes on when
the function is activated.
The function is deactivated automatically if a
passenger uses the temperature control.
Maximum air conditioning
The system automatically adjusts the
temperature setting to the lowest possible, the
air distribution towards the central and side air
vents, the air flow to maximum and activates
recirculation of interior air.
â–º

Press button
8 to activate/deactivate the
function (confirmed by the indicator lamp coming
on/going off).
Once the function is deactivated, the system
returns to the previous settings.
Interior air recirculation
The intake of exterior air prevents the formation
of mist on the windscreen and side windows.
Recirculating the interior air isolates the
passenger compartment from outside odours
and fumes and allows the desired passenger
compartment temperature to be achieved more
rapidly.
â–º Press this button to activate/deactivate
the function (confirmed by the
illumination/extinction of the indicator lamp).
This function is activated automatically when reverse gear is engaged.
Switching off the air
conditioning system
With heating or manual air conditioning
– Adjust the air flow to the minimum setting,
" OFF " position.
With automatic dual-zone air conditioning
â–º Press this button.
This action deactivates all of the functions of the
air conditioning system.
The temperature is no longer regulated. A slight
flow of air can still be felt, due to the forward
movement of the vehicle.

Automatic Visibility programme
This mode allows the windscreen and side
windows to be demisted or defrosted as quickly
as possible.
â–º Press this button to activate/deactivate
the mode (confirmed by the illumination/
extinction of the
indicator lamp).
The programme automatically manages the air
conditioning (depending on version), air flow
and air intake, and provides optimum distribution
towards the windscreen and side windows.
It is possible to manually change the air flow
without deactivating the automatic Visibility
programme.
In wintry conditions, before moving off, it
is essential to remove any snow or ice
from the windscreen around the sensor.
Otherwise, the operation of equipment which
uses the sensor may be affected.
Rear screen demisting/
defrosting
This demisting/de-icing only works with the engine running.
Depending on version, it also demists/de-ices
the door mirrors.
â–º Press this button to activate/deactivate
the function (confirmed by the indicator
lamp coming on/switching off).
Demisting/defrosting switches off automatically
to prevent an excessive consumption of
electrical current.
Switch off demisting/defrosting when
you no longer need it; reducing
electrical consumption in turn decreases
energy consumption.

Never drive with the glove box open
when a passenger is at the front. It may
cause injury during sharp deceleration!
Cigarette lighter/12 V
accessory socket(s)




â–º To use the cigarette lighter, press it in and
wait a few seconds until it pops out automatically.
â–º
T
o use a 12 V accessory (max. power:
120
W), remove the cigarette lighter and connect
a suitable adaptor.
You can use this socket to connect a telephone
charger, a bottle warmer, etc.
After use, put the cigarette lighter back into place
straight away.
The connection of an electrical device not approved by PEUGEOT, such as a
USB charger, may adversely affect the
operation of vehicle electrical systems,
causing faults such as poor radio reception or
interference with displays in the screens.
USB socket(s)



Sockets 1, 2 and 3 (depending on version) can
be used to charge a portable device.
Socket
1 also enables audio files sent to your
audio system to be played through the vehicle's
speakers.
These files can be managed using the steering-
mounted controls or those on the touch screen.
Depending on version,
socket 1 also allows a
smartphone to be connected by MirrorLink
TM,
Android Auto® or CarPlay®, enabling certain
smartphone applications to be used on the touch
screen.
For best results, use a cable made or approved
by the device manufacturer.

These applications can be managed using the
steering-mounted controls or the audio system
controls.
When the USB socket is used, the
portable device charges automatically.
For more information about how to use this
equipment, refer to the sections describing
the audio and telematics systems.
Front armrest
(Depending on version)
It includes a storage space.
Opening

â–º To access the closed storage compartment,
lift the lever to open the lid.
This storage compartment can be used to house portable devices (mobile phone,
MP3 player, etc.) which can be connected to
the USB/Jack sockets or charged from the 12
V accessories socket in the centre console.
Closing
â–º Close the cover until it locks.
Mats
Fitting

When fitting it on the driver's side, only use
the mountings present on the carpet (a "click"
indicates proper locking).
The other mats are simply laid over the carpet.
Removing/refitting
â–º To remove it on the driver's side, move the
seat backwards and unclip the fasteners.
â–º

T
o refit it, position the mat and secure it by
pressing down.
â–º

Check that the mat is secured correctly
.
To avoid any risk of jamming the pedals:– Only use mats which are suited to the
fixings already present in the vehicle; these
fixings must be used.
–

Never fit one mat on top of another
.
The use of mats not approved by PEUGEOT
may interfere with access to the pedals and
hinder the operation of the cruise control/
speed limiter.
The approved mats have two fasteners
located underneath the seat.

DOORâ–º Press this button, the courtesy lamp
gradually lights up:
• when unlocking the vehicle,
• when removing the key from the ignition,
• when opening a door,
• when the remote control locking button is
activated, in order to locate your vehicle.
It switches off gradually:
– when the vehicle is locked,
– when the ignition is switched on,
– 30 seconds after the last door is closed.
â–º Press this button again to permanently switch
the courtesy lamp off.
