ACCESS
ELECTRIC WINDOWS
Fitted with a safety anti-pinch system.

A.
Left-hand electric window control switch.

B.
Right-hand electric window control switch.

ONE-TOUCH ELECTRIC WINDOWS

There are two options:

- manual mode

)
Press or pull the switch gently. The window stops when the
switch is released.

- automatic mode

)
Press or pull the switch fi rmly. The window opens or closes fully
when the switch is released.

)
Pressing the switch again stops the movement of the window.
The electric window switches remain operational for approximately
45 seconds after the ignition is switched off or until the vehicle is
locked after a door is opened.
If the passenger's window cannot be operated from the driver's
door control panel, carry out the operation from the control panel
of the passenger door.
After approximately ten consecutive complete opening/closing
movements of the window, a protection function is activated which
only authorises closing of the windows, so as to prevent damage
to the electric window motor.
Once the window is closed, the switches will become operational
again after approximately 40 minutes.

Safety anti-pinch

When the window rises and meets an obstacle, it stops and partially
lowers again.
If the window cannot be closed (for example, in the presence of
ice), immediately after the movement is reversed:

)
press and hold the switch until the window opens fully,

)
then pull the switch immediately and hold it until the window
closes,

)
continue to hold the switch for approximately one second after
the window has closed.

The safety anti-pinch function is not operational during these
operations.

DUAL-ZONE DIGITAL
AIR CONDITIONING
The air conditioning only operates when the engine is running.

AUTOMATIC OPERATION

1. Automatic comfort programme

)
Press the "AUTO"
button. The indicator lamp in the
button comes on.
We recommend the use of this mode: it permits automatic and
optimised adjustment of all of the functions, passenger compartment
temperature, air fl ow, air distribution and air recirculation, in accordance
with the comfort value that you have chosen.
This system is designed to operate effectively in all seasons, with the
windows closed.

2. Driver's side adjustment

When the engine is cold, to prevent too great a distribution of cold
air, the air fl ow will reach its optimum level gradually.
In cold weather, it favours the distribution of warm air to the
windscreen, side windows and footwells only.

3. Passenger's side adjustment

The driver and front passenger can each adjust the
temperature to their requirements.
The value indicated on the display corresponds to a level
of comfort and not to a temperature in degrees Celsius or
Fahrenheit.

)
Turn control 2
or 3
to the left or to the right respectively to decrease
or increase this value.
A setting around the value 21 provides optimum comfort. However,
depending on your requirements, a setting between 18 and 24 is
normal.
You are advised to avoid a left / right setting difference of more than 3.
On entering the vehicle, if the interior temperature is much colder
or warmer than the comfort value, there is no need to change
the value displayed in order to obtain the comfort required. The
system corrects the difference in temperature automatically and
as quickly as possible.

COURTESY LAMP

In this position, the courtesy lamp comes on gradually:

- when the vehicle is unlocked,

- when the key is removed from the ignition,

- when the remote control locking button is activated, in order to
locate your vehicle. It switches off gradually:

- when the vehicle is locked,

- when the ignition is switched on,

- 30 seconds after the last door is closed.
Permanently off.
Permanent lighting.
With the "permanent lighting" mode, the duration of lighting varies,
depending on the circumstances:

- in energy economy mode, approximately thirty seconds,

- with the engine running, unlimited.

EASE OF USE and COMFORT
The duration of lighting varies, depending on the context:

- when the ignition is off, approximately ten minutes,

- in energy economy mode, approximately thirty seconds,

- when the engine is running, no limit.

STORAGE BOX

This has areas for storing a box of spare bulbs, a fi rst aid kit, the
temporary puncture repair kit, a warning triangle, the removable ball of
the towbar system...

BOOT LAMPS

Your vehicle is fi tted with two boot lamps; one in the right-hand boot
side trim and a second in the centre under the rear shelf.
They come on automatically when the boot is opened and switch off
automatically when the boot is closed.
They cannot be deactivated manually.
A second warning triangle can be stored in the boot lid trim. It also contains the vehicle's handbook pack.
For access to it:

)
raise the fl oor using the strap,

)

secure it in the vertical position behind the stops, located on the sides of the boot.

Before operating the spoiler, ensure that no one is in the proximity
of the moving parts to avoid any risk of injury.
Nevertheless, in the event of pinching, you must reverse the
movement of the spoiler. To do this, release the control button
then press it again to raise the spoiler.

MAINTENANCE

To maintain the spoiler, with the vehicle stationary, ignition on:

)
raise the spoiler to the maximum position B
by pressing the button
briefl y,

)
once the cleaning is complete, retract the spoiler: press and hold
the button until the end of the manoeuvre.
The keep this system in good working order, check the spoiler and its
housing periodically preventing the unwanted accumulation of leaves,
ice or snow.

OPERATING FAULT

If the control system fails, the indicator lamp in the control button
fl ashes, accompanied by an audible signal and a message in the
screen. As a safety precaution, the spoiler rises to the maximum
position, regardless of the speed of the vehicle.
If the problem persists and you wish to retract the spoiler:

)
stop where it is safe to do so,

)
switch off the ignition,

)
switch the ignition on again.
If the indicator lamp no longer fl ashes, the failure was temporary, the
system has resumed normal operation. To retract the spoiler, refer to
the paragraph "To exit from manual mode".
If the indicator lamp fl ashes again and the spoiler is still raised, the
system is still faulty.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualifi ed workshop.
In the event of a system operating fault (e.g. jamming of the spoiler), the
indicator lamp in the control button fl ashes, accompanied by an audible
signal and a message in the screen. For safety reasons, do not exceed
a speed of 85 mph (140 km/h).
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualifi ed workshop.
Before washing the vehicle, always retract the spoiler into its
housing.
Keep the end of the high-pressure nozzle at least 1 metre from the
spoiler housing.

Never press on the spoiler to close the boot or push the vehicle as
this may damage it.
The installation of load-carrying accessories on the vehicle limits
the effectiveness of the spoiler.
Do not install load carrying accessories which are not
recommended by PEUGEOT.
To exit from manual mode:

)
press the button briefl y: the indicator lamp on the button goes off
(return to automatic mode).
At speeds below 6 mph (10 km/h), the spoiler stays in the open
position. It retracts automatically as soon as the vehicle exceeds
this speed threshold.

DRIVING

* According to engine.
GEAR SHIFT INDICATOR *

System which reduces fuel consumption by advising the driver to
change up on vehicles fi tted with a manual gearbox.

OPERATION

The system intervenes only when driving economically.
Depending on the driving situation and your vehicle's equipment, the
system may advise you to skip one or more gears. You can follow this
instruction without engaging the intermediate gears.
The gear engagement recommendations must not be considered
compulsory. In fact, the confi guration of the road, the amount of traffi c
and safety remain determining factors when choosing the best gear.
Therefore, the driver remains responsible for deciding whether or not to
follow the advice given by the system.
This function cannot be deactivated.

In the case of driving which makes particular demands on the
performance of the engine (fi rm pressure on the accelerator pedal,
for example, when overtaking...), the system will not recommend
a gear change.
The system never suggests:

- engaging fi rst gear,

- engaging reverse gear,

- engaging a lower gear.

The information appears in the instrument panel in the form of an arrow
accompanied by the suggested gear.
Example:

- You are in third gear.

- You press the accelerator pedal moderately.

- The system may suggest that you engage a higher gear, if
appropriate.
