"AUDIO FUNCTIONS" MENU

With the Peugeot Connect Sound (RD5) switched on, once this menu
has been selected you can activate or deactivate the functions linked
with use of the radio (RDS, REG, RadioText) or the CD (introscan,
shuffl e, CD repeat).
For more information on the "Audio functions" application, refer to the
Peugeot Connect Sound (RD5) section.


"DIAGNOSIS VEHICLE" MENU

Once this menu has been selected, you can consult information
concerning the status of the vehicle.

Alert log

This summarises the active warning messages, displaying them in
succession on the multifunction screen.

With the Peugeot Connect Sound (RD5) switched on, once this menu
has been selected you can confi gure your Bluetooth hands-free system
(pairing), consult the various telephone directories (calls log, services...)
and manage your communications (pick up, hang up, call waiting,
secret mode...).
For more information on the "Telephone" application, refer to the
Peugeot Connect Sound (RD5) section.

"TELEPHONE" MENU

Display configuration

Once this menu has been selected, you have access to the following
settings:


- brightness-video setting,

- date and time setting,

- choice of units.



Choice of language

Once this menu has been selected, you can change the language
used by the display (Deutsch, English, Espanol, Français, Italiano,
Nederlands, Portugues, Portugues-Brasil, Türkçe * ).

For safety reasons, confi guration of the multifunction screen by
the driver must only be done when stationary.

ENERGY ECONOMY MODE
System which manages the duration of use of certain functions to
conserve a suffi cient level of charge in the battery.
After the engine has stopped, you can still use functions such as
the audio and telematic system, windscreen wipers, dipped beam
headlamps, courtesy lamp, etc. for a maximum combined duration of
thirty minutes.
This period may be greatly reduced if the battery is not fully charged.


SWITCHING TO ECONOMY MODE

Once this time has elapsed, a message appears in the screen indicating
that the vehicle has switched to economy mode and the active functions
are put on standby.
If the telephone is being used at this time:


- it will be maintained for 5 minutes with the Bluetooth system
of your Peugeot Connect Sound (RD5),

- it will still be possible to fi nish the call with the Peugeot Connect
Navigation (RT6) or Peugeot Connect Media (NG4 3D).



EXITING ECONOMY MODE

These functions are reactivated automatically next time the vehicle is
driven.
To restore operation of these functions immediately, start the engine
and let it run for at least 5 minutes.
Let the engine run for the period specifi ed to ensure that the battery
charge is suffi cient.
Do not repeatedly and continuously restart the engine in order to charge
the battery.
A fl at battery prevents the engine from starting (refer to the
"Battery" section).
LOAD REDUCTION MODE

System which manages the use of certain functions according to the
level of charge remaining in the battery.
When the vehicle is being driven, the load reduction function temporarily
deactivates certain functions, such as the air conditioning, the heated
rear screen...
The deactivated functions are reactivated automatically as soon as
conditions permit.

signal is heard and a "Confi rmation / Cancellation"
screen is displayed (if valid SIM card inserted).

which receives locating information from the vehicleand can send a detailed alert to the relevant emergency services.
In countries in which the team is not operational, or
when the locatin
g service has been expressly declined,
the call is sent to the emergency services (11 2). Warning - the emergency call and the services are only active

f the internal telephone is used with a valid SIM card. With a
Bluetooth telephone and without a SIM card, these services are not
operational. Press this button for access to PEUGEOT services.

If an impact is detected b
y the airbag control unit, and independentlyof the deployment of any airbags, an emergency call is made
automatically.

The message "Deteriorated emergency call" associated withfl ashing of the orange indicator lamp indicates a malfunction.Contact a PEUGEOT dealer.

Peugeot Connect Media Navigation (NG4 3D)


For safety reasons, the driver must only carry out
operations which require prolonged attention while the
vehicle is stationary.
When the en
gine is switched off and to prevent
discharging of the battery, the system switches off
following the activation of the energy economy mode.

The shortcut menu for the source appears and

(TA)and press the dial to confi rm and go
to the associated settings.

TA


The TA (Traffi c Announcement) function gives priority to TA alert messages. To operate, this function needs good reception of a radio station transmitting this type of message. When a traffi c report is
transmitted, the current audio source (Radio, CD, Ö) is interrupted
automatically to play the TA message. Normal playback of the audio source resumes at the end of the transmission of the message.

CHOOSING BETWEEN THE BLUETOOTH
TELEPHONE / INTERNAL TELEPHONE

To activate the Bluetooth telephone or
the internal telephone, press PICK UP.
USING THE TELEPHONE


Select Phone menu, then "Selectphone" then choose between"Telephone off", "Use Bluetoothphone" or "Use internal phone". Press OK at each step to confi rm.

The system can only be connected to one Bluetooth telephone and one SIM card (Internal telephone) at the same time.
In this case, the phone book is synchronised with the Bluetooth
telephone.

USING THE TELEPHONE











PAIRING A BLUETOOTH TELEPHONE

FIRST CONNECTION

For safety reasons and because they require prolonged attentionon the part of the driver, the operations for pairing the Bluetooth mobile telephone to the hands-free system of the Peugeot ConnectMedia Navigation (NG4 3D) must be carried out with the vehiclestationary and the ignition on.

Visit www.peugeot.co.uk for more information (compatibility, more help, …).


Activate the telephone's Bluetooth function andensure that it is "visible to all" (refer to the telephone
instructions).
If no tele
phone has been paired, the
system prompts you to "Connect
phone". Select "Yes" and press OK to confi rm.
Ent
er the authentication code on thetelephone. The code to be entered
is displayed on the screen of the system.

To pair another telephone, press the
TEL button, then select Phone menu,then "Select phone" then "Connect Bluetooth phone" then select the
telephone required.
Press
OK at each step to confi rm.
Once the telephone has been connected, the Peugeot ConnectMedia Navigation (NG4 3D) can synchronise the address book and
the call list. This synchronisation may take a few minutes * .
Pairin
g can be started from the telephone (refer to the telephone
instructions). Press the
CALL button.

Select "Search phone" and press OK
to confi rm. Then select the name of
the telephone.

To delete a pairing, press TEL, select "Connect phone" then "Delete
pairing".
