the point of resistance; the corresponding
direction indicators will fl ash until the stalk is
moved from this position.

DIRECTION INDICATORS


"Motorway" function

Press the lighting stalk up or down once,
without passing the point of resistance; the
corresponding direction indicators will fl ash
three times.
The use of this function is available regardless
of the speed, but you will fi nd it particularly
useful when changing lane on fast roads.

FAMILIARISATION
MONITORING
The instrument panel has permanent back-
lighting for improved visibility in all situations,
both day and night.


- With the ignition on, the fuel gauge needle
should indicate the level of fuel remaining.

- With the engine running, its associated
low level warning lamp should go off.

- With the ignition on, the oil level indicator
should display "OK" or "correct",
depending on version, for a few seconds.
If the levels are not correct, top up the levels
which are low.

INSTRUMENT PANEL

- With the ignition on, the orange and red
warning lamps come on.

- With the engine running, these warning
lamps should go off.
If warning lamps remain on, refer to the page
concerned.

WARNING LAMPS

Vehicle parameters

This menu allows you to activate or deactivate certain driving and
comfort equipment:


- vehicle speed repeat,

- selective unlocking (refer to the "Access" section),

- guide-me-home and welcome lighting (refer to the "Visibility" and
"Ease of use and comfort" sections),

- interior mood lighting (refer to the "Ease of use and comfort" section),

- daytime running lamps (refer to the "Visibility" section),

- directional headlamps (refer to the "Visibility" section),

- rear parking sensors (refer to the "Driving" section).



Choice of language

This menu allows you to select the language used by the display:
Deutsch, English, Espanol, Français, Italiano, Nederlands, Portugues,
Pусский, Portugues-Brasil, Türkçe * .


Choice of units

This menu allows you to select the units: temperature (°Celsius or
°Fahrenheit) and fuel consumption (l/100 km, mpg or km/l).

Operation indicator lamps

If one of the following indicator lamps comes on, this confi rms that the
corresponding system has come into operation.
It may be accompanied by an audible signal.
Depending on your version of instrument panel, illumination of the
indicator lamp may also be accompanied by:


- a symbol in the central instrument panel screen and a message in
the multifunction screen,
or

- a symbol and a message in the central instrument panel screen.

fi xed. The lighting stalk is pulled
towards you. Pull the stalk again to return to dipped beam
headlamps.

Deactivation warning lamps

If one of the following warning lamps comes on, this confi rms that the
corresponding system has been switched off intentionally.
It is accompanied by an audible signal and a message on the screen.
Depending on your version of instrument panel, illumination of the
deactivation lamp is also accompanied by:


- a symbol in the central instrument panel screen and a message in
the multifunction screen,
or

- a symbol and a message in the central instrument panel screen.

deactivated.
You can install a "rear-facing"
child seat on the front seat. Before installing a "rear-facing" child seat on the front seat,
it is essential
to deactivate the passenger's front airbag.
On the other hand, where no "rear-facing" child seat is
present, it is recommended that the airbag be reactivated:
set the control to the ON
position.




ESC/ASR


fi xed. The button, located in the centre
of the dashboard, is pressed. Its
indicator lamp is on.
The following functions are
deactivated.


- electronic stability
programme (ESC),

- anti-slip regulation or traction
control (ASR),

- automatic operation of
hazard warning lamps. Press the button again to reactivate these functions
manually. Its indicator lamp goes off.
These functions are reactivated automatically when the
vehicle is started.

With the Peugeot Connect Sound (RD5) switched on, once this menu
has been selected you can confi gure your Bluetooth hands-free system
(pairing), consult the various telephone directories (calls log, services...)
and manage your communications (pick up, hang up, call waiting,
secret mode...).
For more information on the "Telephone" application, refer to the
Peugeot Connect Sound (RD5) section.

Once this menu has been selected, you have access to the following

- brightness-video setting,

- date and time setting,

Choice of language

Once this menu has been selected, you can change the language

For safety reasons, confi guration of the multifunction screen by
the driver must only be done when stationary.

"SETUP" MENU


Language and speech

This menu allows you to:


- select the language used by the display (Deutsch, English,
Espanol, Français, Italiano, Nederlands, Polski, Portugues,
Portugues-Brasil, Türkçe * ),

- select the voice recognition parameters (activation/deactivation,
advice on use, personal voice programming, etc.),

- set the volume of the voice synthesiser.



Date and time

This menu allows you to set the date and time, the format of the date
and the format of the time.

Principle of GPS (GMT) synchronisation:


1.
Confi rm the selection "Synchronise with GPS", the time is then
aligned with GMT universal time, the date is updated as well.

2.
Using the 4-direction navigator, move the cursor onto the hours fi eld
and press on OK
.

3.
Using the rotating ring, you can then adjust the time to the time
zone of your choice.
Note that in the case of a summer/winter time change, the time
zone must be set again manually.



Units

This menu allows you to select the units: temperature (°C or °F) and
distance (miles or km).


System

This menu allows you to restore the factory confi guration, display the
software version and activate scrolling text.

For safety reasons, confi guration of the multifunction screen by
the driver must only be done when stationary.



Display

This menu allows you to set the brightness of the screen, the screen
colour scheme and the colour of the map (day/night or auto mode).

When the screen is open, you can adjust it precisely in different ways:

to move the screen
towards you or towards the windscreen,

push or pull the screen gently by hand.



Adjusting the position of the screen

Storing the position of the screen

The system has four pre-set positions in its memory.
Each time the screen is closed, the system stores the last position of
the screen.
Each time the screen is re-opened, the system returns the screen to the
pre-set position closest to that stored.
