SEEING CLEARLY
LIGHTING
Ring A
Lighting off.
Automatic illumination of headlamps.
Sidelamps.
Dipped / main beam headlamps.
Rear foglamp.
Ring B
Raise or lower the lighting stalk passing
the point of resistance; the corresponding
direction indicators will fl ash until the stalk is
moved from this position.
DIRECTION INDICATORS
Three flashes
Press the lighting stalk up or down once,
without passing the point of resistance; the
corresponding direction indicators will fl ash
three times.
The use of this function is available regardless
of the speed, but you will fi nd it particularly
useful when changing lane on fast roads.
WINDSCREEN WIPERS
2. Fast wipe.
1. Normal wipe.
I. Intermittent wipe.
0. Park.
AUTO  Automatic wipe or single wipe.
Wash-wipe: pull the stalk towards you.
Switching on "AUTO"
 Press the stalk down and release it.
Switching off "AUTO"
 Push the stalk up and return it to position "0" .

FAMILIARISATION
MONITORING
The instrument panel has permanent back-
lighting for improved visibility in all situations,
both day and night.
- With the ignition on, the fuel gauge needle should indicate the level of fuel remaining.
- With the engine running, its associated low level warning lamp should go off.
- With the ignition on, the oil level indicator should display "OK" or "correct",
depending on version, for a few seconds.
If the levels are not correct, top up the levels
which are low.
INSTRUMENT PANEL
- With the ignition on, the orange and red warning lamps come on.
- With the engine running, these warning lamps should go off.
If warning lamps remain on, refer to the page
concerned.
WARNING LAMPS
Illumination of the indicator lamp indicates the
status of the corresponding function.
A. Emergency call.
SWITCH PANEL
B. Deactivation of the interior volumetric and anti-tilt sensors (alarm).
C. Central locking.
D. Deactivation of the DSC/ASR system.
E. Deactivation of the front and rear parking sensors.
F. Access to PEUGEOT services.

Vehicle parameters *
This menu allows you to activate or deactivate certain driving and
comfort equipment:
- vehicle speed repeat,
- selective unlocking (refer to the "Access" section),
- guide-me-home lighting (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- interior mood lighting (refer to the "Ease of use and comfort" section),
- daytime running lamps ** (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- directional headlamps (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- rear parking sensors (refer to the "Driving" section).
Choice of language
This menu allows you to select the language used by the display:
Deutsch, English, Espanol, Français, Italiano, Nederlands, Portugues,\

Pусский, Portugues-Brasil, Türkçe ** .
Choice of units
This menu allows you to select the units: temperature (°Celsius or
°Fahrenheit) and fuel consumption (l/100 km, mpg or km/l).

Operation indicator lamps
If one of the following indicator lamps comes on, this confi rms that the
corresponding system has come into operation.
It may be accompanied by an audible signal.
Depending on your version of instrument panel, illumination of the
indicator lamp may also be accompanied by:
- a symbol in the central instrument panel screen and a message in the multifunction screen,
or
- a symbol and a message in the central instrument panel screen.
Warning lamp is on Cause Action / Observations
Left-hand
direction
indicato r fl ashing with
buzzer.
The lighting stalk is pushed
down.

Right-hand direction
indicator fl ashing with
buzzer. The lighting stalk is pushed up.
Hazard warning
lamps fl ashing with
audible signal. The hazard warning lamps
switch, located on the dashboard,
has been operated. The left-hand and right-hand direction indicators and their
associated indicator lamps fl ash simultaneously.
Sidelamps fi xed. The lighting stalk is in the
"Sidelamps" position or the
"AUTO" position with low light.
Dipped beam
headlamps fi xed. The lighting stalk is in the
"Dipped beam headlamps"
position or in the "AUTO" position
in conditions of low light.
Main beam
headlamps fi xed. The lighting stalk is pulled
towards you. Pull the stalk again to return to dipped beam
headlamps.

Deactivation warning lamps
If one of the following warning lamps comes on, this confi rms that the
corresponding system has been switched off intentionally.
It is accompanied by an audible signal and a message on the screen.
Depending on your version of instrument panel, illumination of the
deactivation lamp is also accompanied by:
- a symbol in the central instrument panel screen and a message in the multifunction screen,
or
- a symbol and a message in the central instrument panel screen.
Warning lamp is on Cause Action / Observations
Passenger's
front airbag fi xed, in the seat
belt and front
passenger's
airbag warning
lamps display. The control switch, located
on the passenger's end of
the dashboard, is set to the
OFF
position.
The passenger's front airbag is
deactivated.
You can install a "rearward
facing" child seat on the front
seat. Before installing a "rearward facing" child seat on the front
seat, it is
essential to deactivate the passenger's front
airbag.
On the other hand, where no "rearward facing" child seat is
present, it is recommended that the airbag be reactivated:
set the control to the ON position.

With the PEUGEOT Connect Sound (RD5) switched on, once this menu
has been selected you can confi gure your Bluetooth hands-free system
(pairing), consult the various telephone directories (calls log, serv\
ices...)
and manage your communications (pick up, hang up, call waiting,
secret mode...).
For more information on the "Telephone" application, refer to the
PEUGEOT Connect Sound (RD5) section.
"TELEPHONE" MENU Display configuration
Once this menu has been selected, you have access to the following
settings:
- brightness-video setting,
- date and time setting,
- choice of units.
Choice of language
Once this menu has been selected, you can change the language
used by the display (Deutsch, English, Espanol, Français, Italiano, \
Nederlands, Portugues, Portugues-Brasil, Türkçe * ). For safety reasons, confi guration of the multifunction screen by
the driver must only be done when stationary.
Setting the date and time

 Press the "  " or "  " button to display the "Display confi guration"
menu, then the "OK" button.
 Press the "  " or "  " button to select the "Adjust date and time"
line, then the "OK" button.
 Press the "  " or "  " button to select the setting to modify. Confi rm
by pressing the "OK" button then modify the setting and confi rm
again to save the modifi cation.
 Adjust the settings one by one, confi rming with the "OK" button.
 Press the "  " or "  " button, then the "OK" button to select the
"OK" box and confi rm, or the "Back" button to cancel.

DISPLAYS IN THE SCREEN
Displays according to context:
- time,
- date,
- altitude,
- ambient temperature (the value displayed fl ashes if there is a risk of ice),
- parking sensor information,
- audio functions,
- telephone and contacts information,
- satellite navigation system information,
- alert messages,
- menus for settings of the screen, navigation system and vehicle equipment. From the navigation system control panel, to select one of the
applications:
 press the dedicated
"RADIO" , "MUSIC" , "NAV" , "TRAFFIC" ,
"PHONE" or "SETUP" button for access to the corresponding
menu,
 turn dial A to select a function, an item in a list,
 press button B to confi rm the selection,
or
 press the "Back" button to abandon the current operation and
return to the previous display.
For more information on these applications, refer to the "Audio
equipment and telematics" section.
CONTROLS
For operation of the retractable screen (opening, closing,
adjustment of the position, etc.), refer to the "Access to the
retractable screen" section.

For operation of the retractable screen (opening, closing,
adjustment of the position, etc.), refer to the "Access to the
retractable screen" section.
 Press the "SETUP" button to gain access to the "SETUP" menu.
This allows you to select from the following functions:
- "Language and speech",
- "Date and time",
- "Display",
- "Units",
- "System".
"SETUP" MENU
Language and speech
This menu allows you to:
- select the language used by the display (Deutsch, English, Espanol, Français, Italiano, Nederlands, Polski, Portugues,
Portugues-Brasil, Türkçe * ),
- select the voice recognition parameters (activation/deactivation, advice on use, personal voice programming, etc.),
- set the volume of the voice synthesiser.
Date and time
This menu allows you to set the date and time, the format of the date
and the format of the time.
Principle of GPS (GMT) synchronisation:
1. Confi rm the selection "Synchronise with GPS", the time is then aligned with GMT universal time, the date is updated as well.
2. Using the 4-direction navigator, move the cursor onto the hours fi eld and press on OK .
3. Using the rotating ring, you can then adjust the time to the time zone of your choice.
Note that in the case of a summer/winter time change, the time zone must be set again manually.
Units
This menu allows you to select the units: temperature (°C or °F)\
and
distance (miles or km).
System
This menu allows you to restore the factory confi guration, display the
software version and activate scrolling text.
For safety reasons, confi guration of the multifunction screen by
the driver must only be done when stationary.
Display
This menu allows you to set the brightness of the screen, the screen
colour scheme and the colour of the map (day/night or auto mode).

EASE OF USE and COMFORT
MIRRORS
DOOR MIRRORS
Each fi tted with an adjustable mirror glass permitting the lateral
rearward vision necessary for overtaking or parking. They can be
folded electrically.
Demisting - defrosting
The demisting-defrosting of the door mirrors is effected with
the engine running, by switching on the heated rear screen
(refer to the "Demisting-defrosting the rear screen" section).
Adjustment
 Move control A to the right or to the left to select the corresponding
mirror.
 Move control B in all four directions to adjust.
 Return control A to the central position.
The objects observed are, in reality, closer than they appear.
Take this into account in order to correctly judge the distance of
vehicles approaching from behind.
