The speed limiter operating condition is shown on the
vehicle information display and instrument panel.
Vehicle information display:1. \bIMIT indicator
2. Set speed indicator
When the vehicle speed exceeds the set speed limit,
the set speed indicator blinks and the accelerator
pedal operation will not work until the vehicle speed
slows down to the set speed limit.
Instrument panel: \f. Speed limiter indicator light
4. SET indicator light
The speed limiter will not automatically brake
the vehicle to the set speed limit.
Speed limiter display and indicators (Type C
model)

The speed limiter operating condition is shown on the

When the vehicle speed exceeds the set speed limit,
the set speed indicator blinks and the accelerator

Turning on speed limiter
Push the speed limiter MAIN switch. The speed limiter
indicator (light) and the \bIMIT indicators illuminate. The
set speed indicator shows “- - -”.
Setting speed limit
1. Push the SET/í switch..When the vehicle is stopped, the speed will be
set at \f0 km/h or 20 MPH.
.While driving, the speed limit will be set at thecurrent speed.
2. When the speed limit is set, the SET (indicator light) and the set speed indicators illuminate on
the vehicle information display and instrument
panel (for Type B model) .
Changing set speed limit:
Use either of the following operations to change the
speed limit.
. Push and hold the RES/+ or SET/í switch. The
set speed will increase or decrease by approxi-
mately 10 km/h or 10 MPH.

\b\fght may b\b\fnk when the cru\fse contro\b MAIN
sw\ftch \fs turned on wh\f\be push\fng the RES+, SET
í, CANCEL sw\ftch. To proper\by set the cru\fse
contro\b system, use the fo\b\bow\fng procedures.
CRUISE CONTROL OPERATIONS
The cru\fse contro\b a\b\bows dr\fv\fng at speeds above 40
km/h (25 MPH) w\fthout keep\fng your foot on the
acce\berator peda\b.
The cru\fse contro\b w\f\b\b automat\fca\b\by be cance\bed \ff the
veh\fc\be s\bows down more than approx\fmate\by 13 km/h
(8 MPH) be\bow the set speed.
Mov\fng the se\bector \bever to the “N” (Neutra\b) pos\ft\fon
(Cont\fnuous\by Var\fab\be Transm\fss\fon mode\b) or depres-
s\fng the c\butch peda\b (Manua\b Transm\fss\fon mode\b) w\f\b\b

turn off.
