Engine stopped, ignition on.
Use the wiring diagrams Technical Note for Scénic II ph2, Espace IV ph2,
Trafic II ph2 or Kangoo 2.
Note:
For vehicles which do not have the "Silence" button on the steering column switch,
pressing the +/- twice displays status ET005.
Check the condition and connection of the connector of component 325 (Scénic II ph2 and Kangoo 2: 1519)
and of the black 24-track connector of component 1714.
If the connectors are faulty and there is a repair method (see Technical Note 6015A, Electrical wiring repair,
Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the connector, otherwise replace the wiring.
Check the insulation, continuity and the absence of interference resistance on the following connections:
Scénic II ph2 and Kangoo 2:
–connection code 34AT,
–connection code 34AR,
–connection code 34AS,
–connection code 34AQ,
–connection code 34AU,
–connection code 34AP,
between components 1714 and 1519.
Trafic II ph2 and Espace IV ph2:

If status ET008 is inconsistent, check the position of the gear lever sensor.
If the vehicle is fitted with a manual gearbox, carry out fault finding on the UCH (see 87B, Passenger
compartment connection unit).
If the vehicle is fitted with an automatic or sequential gearbox, carry out fault finding on the gearbox (see 23A,
Automatic gearbox or 21B, Sequential gearbox).
