Amplifier
With the main controlAyou can adjust the volume and the fader
(FAD), balance (BAL), bass (BASS) and treble (TREB).
The selected function shows up on the display screen.
If you keep the adjustkey pressed you achieve the average value
(itis shown by the functions confirmation signal).
For instance, bass adjusting:
Press the BASS key briefly.
Now, with then main control
Ayou can change the bass
performance value.
To return to the average bass value hold the BASS key pressed
until you hear the warning sound.

Operation modes
The set allows you to switch between various sources:
– Radio (BAND and "RDS" keys)
– CD ("CD" key)
– CD changer ("CD6" key)
If you are provided with a CD changer connected to the car audio,
and a CD inserted, you can switch directly between both sources of
sound by using the "CD" and "CD6" keys.
For instance: If when listening to the radio you briefly press key
"CD" the CD will switch on. By pressing the "CD6" key the CD will
stop and the "CD" function will be switched on.
To return to the radio function again you need to use the "BAND" or
"RDS" keys.

PAUSE The CD is paused.
RESET Ends any TR SCAN, TR RND or PAUSE.
CD ERROR The CD is inserted wrongly or there is a data
transmission error.
NO CD There is no CD in the CD player.
EJECT CD eject.

CD6 operation
TP Availability for traffic announcements reception is
activated
CD CHECK When inserting the magazine it checks the 6 CD
positions
CD1 TR1First track on first CD.
T01 01:15 First track time played.CD SCAN First track of every CD is played for about 10
seconds.
CD RND Random playback of CDs in changer.
TR SCAN Each track of selected CD is played for about 10
seconds.
TR RND The selected CD tracks are played at random.
RESET Ends any CD SCAN, CD RND, TR SCAN, TR RND, or
PAUSE.
MECHANIC Mechanical failure of CD changer or if the magazine is
removed when playing a CD.
CD ERRORIncorrectCD position or data transmission failure.
NO CD There is no CD inside the audio set.
CHANGER Communication failure.
MAGAZINE No magazine inside the changer.
CD1 LOAD Loading CD1.
NO CD5 No CD in charger position 5.

Select CD/CD6 operation mode
Press the "CD" key to activate the CD or press the CD6 key to
activate the CD changer.

Select a CD (CD6 mode)
Briefly press the relevant 16 key for the CD you wish to listen to
until it is displayed on the screen as well as the desired CD
number.
CCDD eejjeeccttiioonn
Press the EJECT akey.
If you press the
akey and the CD is not removed, it will be
inserted again after 15 sec. But it will not be activated.

SCAN key
Bypressing the SCAN key you can listen to all the stations of the
selected range for 10 seconds.
•Press the SCAN key.
•The SCAN indication will be displayed on screen.
Next, you will hear all the stations one after another for a few
seconds.
If you wish to continue listening to the station being played, press
the SCAN key.

Availability for broadcasting traffic announcements during
CD playback

Briefly press the TP key. TP will be displayed.
During traffic announcements broadcast CD/CD6 operation is
interrupted.
SSwwiittcchhiinngg ooffff TTPP
Briefly press the TP key again.
During a traffic announcement playback only the broadcasting of
thatparticular announcement is switched off. It goes back to
CD/CD6 mode. The "TP" indication isstill displayed on screen.
During normal operation in CD/CD6 mode the "TP" function is
switched off. "TP" disappears from the screen.
