The automatic brake interventions can take place only if the following condi-
tions are met.
A head-on or side collision occurred.
The impact speed was greater than approx. 10 km/h.
The brakes, the ESL and other required electrical systems remain function-
al after impact.
The accelerator pedal is not actuated.

NoteIf the engine is “stalled” while travelling in Offroad mode, you should check af-
ter engine re-start to see if Offroad mode is still enabled. It may need to be
activated again.
