WARNINGvNever adjust the steering wheel when the vehicle is moving only when
the vehicle is stationary!v
The safety lever must always be locked so that the steering wheel cannot
accidentally change position

WARNING (Continued)vNo other persons, animals or objects should be placed in front of the oc-
cupants in the front seats in the deployment area of the front airbags.v
The steering wheel and the surface of the dashboard on the passenger
side must not be stickered, covered or modified in any way. No parts (e.g.
cup holders, mobile phone mounts and the like) may be mounted near the
airbag installation points and in the airbag deployment area.

Never place objects on the surface of the dashboard on the passenger
side.
WARNINGInformation about for side and head airbagsvNo objects (e.g. sun visors turned towards the windows) should be loca-
ted in the deployment area of the side and head airbags. No accessories
(e.g. cup holders etc.) should be fitted to the doors - risk of injury!v
Hang only light clothing on the hooks in the vehicle, do not leave any
heavy or sharp objects in the pockets. Do not use hangers to hang up the
clothes.
v
No excessive force, e.g. through blows, kicks etc. should be applied to the
seat backrests - there is a risk of damage to the side airbags. The side air-
bags would not be deployed in such a case!
v
Any seat or protective covers which you fit to the driver or front passen-
ger seats must only be of a type expressly authorised by

If the seat belt is not fastened by the driver or front passenger during the next
approx. 2 minutes, the warning signal is deactivated and the warning light i
illuminates permanently.

vDo not polish the films
v Do not use a high pressure cleaner on the films.v
Rubber seals
v Do not treat the door seals and window guides deal with anything - the
protective varnish coating could be damaged.

Windows and door mirrors
v Do not clean the insides of the windows/mirrors with sharp objects - risk of
damage to the filaments or the antenna.
v Do not use a cloth which has been used to polish the body - this could dirty
the window and impair visibility.
v
Head / taillights
v Do not wipe head/taillights dry, do not use any sharp objects - risk of dam-
age to the protective coating and cracks forming on the headlight glass cov-
ers.
v
Reversing camera
The following instructions must be observed, otherwise there is a risk of
camera damage.
v Do not remove snow / ice with warm / hot water.
v To wash, never use a pressure washer or steam jet.
v For cleaning, do not use abrasive cleaners.
v
Door lock cylinders
v Make sure that as little water as possible gets into the locking cylinder
when washing the vehicle - there is a risk of freezing the lock cylinder!
v
Wheels
v Heavy soiling of the wheels can affect the balance of the wheels - the re-
sult can be a vibration, which can cause premature wear of the steering.
