The c loc k d isp lays the time when the ig nition switc
h is in the “ACC ” or
“ ON ” p ositions.
Setting the clock
Eac h time the “+ ” b utton is p ressed , the c loc k g ains 1 minute. By
hold ing the b utton d ep ressed , the c loc k c an b e p ut forward c ontinu-
ously. Pressing the “ –” b utton p uts the c loc k rearward .
Hazard warning flasher

c hang ing tools ” in this c hap ter.
6. Remove the wheel c overs. Locking type wheel cover: Grasp the wheel c over with b oth hand s b y
the sp okes and twist sharp ly in a counterclockwise d irec tion until you
feel the d etente release. Now the wheel c over is fr ee from the retention
ring .Regular type wheel cover: Insert the wheel c over remover into the
notc h p rovid ed in the wheel c over, and p ry it off.

Wheel covers (Locking type wheel covers)
n Removing the wheel cover
CAUTION
If it becomes necessary to remove the wheel cover, NEVER use a screwdriver or other prying tool. Doing so will severely damage
or destroy the wheel cover.

Grasp the wheel c over with b oth hand s b y the sp okes and twist
sharp ly in a counterclockwise d irec tion until you feel the d etent
release. Now the wheel c over is free from the reten tion ring .
n Installing the wheel cover
1. Install the wheel c over on the retention ring , al ig ning the valve stem
with the valve stem area and fitting the loc k p ins on the wheel c over
with the loc k sp ring s in the retention ring .

twisting the wheel c over, make sure the wheel c over is loc ked

NOTE When any of the wheels is removed and replaced for tire rotation or to change a flat tire, always check the tightness of the wheelnuts after driving approximately 600 miles (1,000 km). If any nut isloose, tighten it to the specified torque.
