b ass c ontrol mod e, the d isp lay shows the ind ic ation as shown.
The b ass c ontrol has total of 13 volume levels (B: –6 for minimum, 0
for mid d le, B: + 6 for maximum). Choose d esired b ass volume level b y
turning the volume c ontrol knob . The c ontrol func ti on returns to vol-
ume c ontrol mod e after ab out 5 sec ond s. Treble control

b alanc e c ontrol mod e, the d isp lay shows the ind ic at ion as shown.
The b alanc e c ontrol has total of 25 setting s (L: 12 for left sid e maxi-
mum and rig ht sid e minimum, 0 for neutral, R: 12 fo r left sid e mini-
mum and rig ht sid e maximum). Choose d esired setting b y turning the
volume c ontrol knob . The c ontrol func tion returns t o volume c ontrol
mod e after ab out 5 sec ond s.
FM/AM selection switch
Use this switc h to selec t either FM or AM rec ep tion . The d isp lay ind i-
c ates whic h one is c urrently selec ted . Stereo indicator
The stereo ind ic ator “ST ” will c ome on when an FM stereo b road c ast is
rec eived . Manual tuning (TUNING)
Press the tuning b utton marked “ ” to inc rease the tuning freq uenc y and
p ress the tuning b utton marked “ ” to d ec rease it.
Eac h time the b utton is p ressed , the freq uenc y c han g es b y 10 KHz in
the AM mod e and b y 0.2 MHz in the FM mod e.
Constant p ressure on the b utton c auses a c ontinuous c hang e in the fre-
q uenc y.

NOTE Only use good quality cassettes (cassettes longer than C-90 are
not recommended). Put cassettes back in their boxes immediately after use to protect
them from dust and dirt and to prevent the tape from unwinding. Never expose cassettes to heat, direct sunlight or moisture.
Clean the tape head (once or twice a month) using a wet-type
cleaning cassette .

Cup holder
CAUTION
When not in use, always keep the holder stored while driving
to reduce the risk of injury in the event of a sudden stop or an accident. Do not pick up a cup from the cup holder or put a cup in the
holder while you are driving, as this may distract you and lead toan accident. Take care to avoid spills. Beverages, if hot, might burn you or
your passengers. Spilled beverages may also damage upholstery,carpets or audio equipment.
